Storms here so far only created big winds and almost no water. Winds cleared trees of dead leaves,twigs, pine cones, etc. Have a natural magnet for all these things, called a swimming pool.

Same as here ColtMan....I was lucky I watered again yesterday. It rained hard for 2 short periods last night....so lucky!!! I would be in trouble here if I had a pool. Acorns by the millions... May get a pool when I move back north...Jan or Feb....(Not great swimming months however) Did you catch the race last evening?

SW1 - growing up? I never did grow and probably never will! lol! Tore my achilles several years ago and yes I was way past 30. lol! I never did grow up! Think I stuck whatever I could down that cast even a wire coat hanger which I hid from my wife. If she found out I was using a coat hanger she'd be calling me every name in the book and some!

"That one is SPOT ON! HA HA! " Thanks Brent! People who do that must have gotten their license out of a Cracker Jack Box IMO. George Carlin did a comedy routine once where anyone that drives slower than you is "a mo ron" & anyway who drives faster than you is "a maniac." It's a classic!!! And of so hilarious!!!

11.. Law of the Theater & Stadium- At any event, the people whose seats are furthest from the aisle, always arrive last. They are the ones who will leave their seats several times to go for food, beer, or the toilet and who leave early before the end of the performance or the game is over. The folks in the aisle seats come early, never move once, have long gangly legs or big bellies and stay to the bitter end of the performance. The aisle people also are very surly folk.

Happy holiday weekend to all my friends here and all forum members. Be safe and careful, enjoy time with friends, family, or quietly alone if that is your desire. Remember the fallen heroes who kept our liberties alive, those who served and lived, and to those serving us now, may they be kept from Harms Way. Been a busy week or two past, have checked in briefly but not long enough to post. SW1- send my holiday wishes to our friend Brent for me as well.

My dad served in Korea & I have relatives that served in Vietnam so your reminder about honoring all those who serve in wartime or peacetime is a noble & profound one. Thank you CM51 & to all the men & women who protect our civil liberties God bless you. I will be sure to send Brent pleasant Memorial Memorial Day weekend wishes as well my friend.
