We kinda know what Thomas has, Denbow is an unknown...not sure what is the right way to go with season on the line but think they stay with Thomas out of the gate. Henry Black was just brought back BUT he was cut for a reason......no word on Marcel Dabo our International player

Thing that concerns me honestly is how many time he has his hands on the ball but fails to bring it in, doesnt matter who is throwing it in that situation he has not brought it in like I had hoped he would by now. Hope it improves but think we need to bring in serious competition for the spot.

I think as he continue to get healthy will be the Leonard of old, now is big money for a LB the way to go in today's NFL ? Likely no, need big money at Edge spot and shut down corner instead. Its been said many times our team has / had big money at position not as vital. Leonard gone helps that in future BUT sure hope big money isnt pumped into Franklin's contract that would put us back in the same boat.

Agreed Cross should be fine his PFF score is 88.3,problem is Thomas is now almost forced to stay on the field and is grading 57.7 (Blackmon is at 68.3). Doubt we can move Harrison back there now as we packed 20 lbs on his frame for Lineback work so speed for Safety would be off...maybe Trevor Denbow

Ronnie Harrison was drafted in the 3rd round (Pick 93) though was drafted as Safety and we converted him to a Linebacker and though limited snaps has produced 2 turnovers including a td. I think Speed is improving and could be a solid player but also not sold on Franklin as a high priced savior in the middle.

The one thing that has confused me is we have Darren Hall on p.s. and have all season, he started 9 games for Atlanta last season and posted a PFF score of 65.5 (It was his second year in the league). Originally a 4th round draft pick, has size at 6'0 and speed (4.46) but for some reason has never been brought up or considered. Not sure if an unreported injury but I would think a vet presence with success in the league could help the young secondary. Head scratcher.

And Beathard took some hard shots yesterday and unfortunately their 3rd QB Nathan Rourke (CFL star ) was just claimed off their Practice Squad by the Pats so now you are looking at recently signed EJ Perry who was released back in March and has never thrown an NFL pass.....this could get ugly fast

Home game, Raiders on short week and Colts have 4 wins over teams with winning records while LV had zero coming into today and now have 1.

I still want Brenden Rice as a late flyer, has size ,speed, good hands...turned into a td machine this season with 12 in 12 games. avg 16.4 yards per catch for his college career. If he's there late day 2 well worth a look.

Some interesting season long numbers... Rainmann is our top graded O lineman followed by B Smith then,Kelly then way back...(10 points) is Q then Fries Ogletree and Mallory nearly identical (.2 for Ogletree) with MAC and Granson much lower. Ebukum our top D Lineman by a lot followed by Buckner, Dayo is 16 points lower then any of our regular rotation up front, Speed grading out above Franklin by 1.6 points Nick Cross our to DB by over 12 points then Kenny followed by Blackmon. Brents and Jones numbers almost identical (.8 to Brents) then Thomas and Baker coming in dead last.

Missed Pittman a TON, Moss no so much as JT was back and had no room whatsoever.....dont think Moss could have down more. Missed Smith and on D we missed Blackmon as Rodney thomas got picked on again once he had to replace him (Cross was starting alongside Blackmon).

Different coaching staff and mentality. We havent lost two in a row all season (Clev was a win as well all know) because club bounces back each time. Worst game was Cinn and came right back and dominated Pitt. Nothing has been easy but we are the better club and will show it.

I'd be much more worried if Raiders won a shootout 41-38 with O'Connell on fire then what we saw today. Wouldnt mind getting K.C. in the playoffs, Mahommes hurting, pachecko out again no wr's getting separation. Much prefer them then say Phins or even ravens.

If we win next week and KC beats Cinn, Seattle beats Pitt and Tenn beats Houston all very realistic we will have clinched going into final week unless we lose finale while Cinn beats Cleveland, Balt beats pitt ,chargers and raiders both beat Broncos and buff sweeps miami and new engalnd

I predicted 10-7 before season but way things are going has to end in some crazy scenario , nice thing is we have best AFC record among the clubs battling.

Or beat raiders but lose to Texans after Texans lose to Tenn.
