  1. He finished the season strong in the second half of the year. This continues a trend in his development where he seems to very quickly learn and incorporate what he's learned in game. Lets hope his upward trend continues next season.
  2. Here's another article from a former NFL HC about Richardson and areas for improvement: https://www.the33rdteam.com/category/analysis/4-ways-indianapolis-colts-qb-anthony-richardson-can-improve/ Good video accompanying the article in there...
  3. Thought you guys might like this one: @Superman
  4. Well that is such sad news... hope he recovers fully for next season.
  5. I kind of feel like the lack of top tier weapons is playing a big part in the offensive struggles. Agreed on RIchardson. Not sure he's outperformed Minshew, but at the very least it seems like he's not outmatched by him at this point and... IMO if this keeps being the case during training camp and Richardson is anywhere close to Minshew's level, I see no reason why he shouldn't start.
  6. He's our most senior outside corner
  7. Interesting. They are drilling under center reps with Richardson. I would have assumed he would take close to zero of those, but maybe not? Maybe we want to expand his repertoire a bit.
  8. Do we know if there is practice today or just media availability?
  9. Happy Birthday to Jim Irsay... Also... caption this:
  10. 0. Personal one - hopefully being able to go to my first Colts game in Germany. I've registered for the lottery and waiting for next month to see if I will be able to get a ticket. Fingers crossed 1. Alec Pierce... I think he's the most obvious candidate for a big jump in production in our offense with the assumption that Richardson will play a lot of games and the offense will take a lot of shots downfield. He's the most natural target on those. 2. OL play and OL coaching. For a while my assumption has been that Strausser was one of the reasons for this OL's diminished level of play. This year will be a test for my hypothesis. On paper we have a lot of talent. There is no reason an OL with Q, Kelly and Braden should be as bad as it was last year. And hopefully all of them will be healthier than last few years. Lets see if the new OL coach can inspire them to return to their play from a few years ago. Raimann's development will be key in that regard. 3. Rodgers was going to be one of the most intriguing players to watch for me next year with the opportunity to start. Well, that bet is off... And still... the DB room continues to be one of the most intriguing things about this team since we have close to zero established vets and tons and tons of youth with little to no experience. I think a lot of them will get a chance to play this year. I want to see Brents and Rush and Jones fight it out for the outside corner spots... I want to see how Nick Cross has progressed since last year... Rodney Thomas? --- Out of the question and probably everybody's first choice - AR.
  11. I think Ballard has decided to strike back. This was the first year he got any significant heat from local media about the job he's doing and he probably doesn't feel like giving them any more attention than he's required to.
  12. I think they had scouts interviews in previous years too... BTW... what I really want to see is something similar but for the fans directly rather than the media... Let the coaches break down some plays that exeplify what they loved in these prospects and how they see using them on our team.
  13. BTW, remember how every year Ballard used to gather the media and give them a film review of the new draft picks. Seems like this won't happen this year. Too bad.
  14. It's like real life version of Draft Day Only Monti's piece of paper said "Paris Johnson no matter what" He showed great command of all his available resources and of the room. Great watch.
  15. Yeah, I don't see any way Ballard wins that bidding war. He was never going to offer enough.
  16. It shows they had talks about moving up and probably had talked about some sort of compensation before the draft. Ballard is the first one he wanted to call. The interesting thing is... Tennessee didn't feature AT ALL. BTW, here's the full episode if someone wants to watch... some great access in that top of the draft trades timeline:
  17. Here's just the next RB who signed a big deal and got cut early during that contract : I really really hope Ballard is paying attention to what's happening in the league. I really like Taylor... but it's bad business giving him that type of long-term money in today's league.
  18. Happy Best Friends day, everybody...
  19. It's a guess I would say. The point he's making is that it's very likely even though players know the general rules they don't know this type of small details about what counts as "in team building"...
