  1. And that's fine. You still have to account for him which will make things a lot easier for AR
  2. Well for starters, rookie QBs struggle. The oline was in question after no additions especially at depth. The weapons minus JT are Pittman and a lot of one to two year players. CB was completely inexperience with no vet additions. There were plenty of concern.
  3. It's just my assumption. Clearly it's baseless, but I'm trying to find logic in the situation.
  4. You're looking at things at hindsight. Rookie QBs are not as far along as AR has looked and you add in losing your best player, there wasn't a lot of optimism going into the season.
  5. For those that need a refresher of who JT is. 👇👇👇
  6. It's not that simple. Clearly the colts wanted to see the product on the field first before throwing big money. Obviously they like the steps AR has taken and their envisioning a win now mindset with the tandem of AR and JT instead of embracing a rebuild. I don't think this deal gets done if AR struggles and the colts are winless.
  7. AR needs to learn when to rip it and when to take some of the mustard off. Overall, I don't think the ball placement is bad. Does he sail passes at times, sure it's gonna happen. The accuracy imo has looked a lot better then his time in Florida though. The more experience he gets, the better he'll be.
  8. Let's be honest. We all went to bed after the pick 😂
  9. We'll have to agree to disagree
  10. I get what you're saying. I just don't understand why you're discrediting it. It's an incredible throw considering the circumstances. He took a bad play and made it a good one.
  11. So you're disregarding the level of difficulty to make that throw as just reckless? Would you say the same thing if Mahomes made that throw?
  12. The defender fell down holding Pierce. He was never in position to make a play on the ball. The fact AR even got the ball there with pinpoint accuracy is next level
  13. That is Aaron flipping Donald hitting him. The guy bench presses 700 pounds. No step up. Feet aren't set. Perfect pass. Crazy
  14. This hurts because he's so great vs the run and now we play Henry next.
  15. 2-2 Honesty, I thought we'd be 1-3 at this point so good start so far. Here are some key notes I've observed so far. Shane Steichen - I'm not gonna say the team didn't respect Reich, but I just notice so much more command from Shane both on and off the field. You can see he's in control especially offensively, game flow, and from a strategic prospective. Anthony Richardson - AR has been as advertised. Athletic, poise, electric, and a leader. Down 23 and just put the team on his back. Unfortunately falling short, but imo he is miles ahead of most rookie QBs and I truly believe we have another colt great to be at QB. O-line - The improvement from last year is night and day and yes having a running QB instead of a statue does help, but they have done a great job so far especially Raimann who has looked like a legit LT. D-line - imo, they have been the best part of the team. Buck and Grove have been almost unstoppable. Kwity has been a monster. Samson has had some really great couple of games. Dayo was great today. A lot of great things on the line. Here's what I think needs work moving forward if we're gonna be successful. Alec Pierce - I'm not really sure what we're doing with Alec. We are not using his best asset which is bodying DBs. Ive seen maybe 5 deep balls to Alec which isn't remotely enough. I get he's had a few drops, but we need to help get him more involved. Shaq Leonard - I understand it takes time to come back from the surgeries Shaq had and trust me I was not expecting Darius back, but I am getting concerned. I just don't see that instinctive playmaking LB he use to be. I'm hoping with more games under his belt, Shaq can return to his All-Pro level we all expect. Secondary - I get we went all in with the youth movement at CB and Brents was great vs the Ravens, but I'm concerned with all the miscommunication that seems to happen especially today during OT and now we might have Flowers missing time.
  16. Gotta love the fight in the guys. AR is gonna be a problem once he actually gets experience. Just so much potential.
  17. Colts better do a lot of roll outs to get AR away from Aaron Donald. I don't want him in the pocket
  18. I fully expect us to win this game. This ram team is very beatable. I just hope we get AR out of the pocket to avoid Aaron Donald.
  19. Think of it as one is a walkthrough and the other is regular practice
  20. Doesn't mean anything. They can't clear protocol without a non-contact practice and a contact practice.
