  1. Despite being upset with the REFS after Game 1 and being down 0-2, I still don't think it is over because the Knicks are banged up. OG may not even play, and Brunson may not be at 100%. INDY has won 14 games in a row at home as well. Get this thing to 2-2 and it's anyone's series. No doom and gloom here yet.
  2. We have to win Games 3 and 4 or it is over for sure. Can't fall down 1-3. We had Game 1 in the bag but can't dwell on that now, it's history. TJ McConnell, Haliburton, Toppin, Pascal, and Turner are the 5 players that need to be in, in the last 5 minutes to finish Games 3 and 4.
  3. She is bigtime, Peyton gave her all of his airport connections (captains) on what flights to take, he also gave her his contacts for St. Elmo to get free meals.
  4. Her and Haliburton are pretty even popularity wise that is how popular she is. Haliburton's popularity went up after the Pacers beat Milwaukee. So, he is right there with her. Not sure if she is more popular than JT because football is a different sport so to football fans/Colts fans she isn't.
  5. Homer uses it all the time when someone is acting like a jerk in the Simpsons, but he uses the cuss word at the end .
  6. You mean we aren't 32 . We must be moving up in the world.
  7. What some people are failing to realize is, this incident with Caitlin is not the full reason why he is in water. It is the numerous bashing/negativity of all Indiana teams over the years and him being jerkbutt towards people in general for years that led to this. This was the one that finally broke the Camels back. Also, it was very creepy the way he came off, obvious to me anyway. Had this been Kevin Bowen that did something similar he would not of got into as much trouble because he has a reputation of being a great guy and doesn't bad mouth everything. Get the point!
  8. Tough loss tonight. This loss is really on us unlike Game 1. Can't miss 5 FTs in a row in the 4th Qtr, we also should have put them away when we were up 12. Knicks made several clutch 3s in the 4th Qtr and we didn't. One thing is for sure, can't blame Haliburton for tonight. He had a great game.
  9. Fair enough. Spygate was 2007. I was happy to see the Giants pull that off.
  10. What sucks about losing Game 1 is, it makes Game 2 a must win. We brought great energy in Game 1, our bench outscored their bench 46-3 but Brunson had a monster game to make up for most of that. Not sure all of our players can bring that kind of energy again, having said that Haliburton can't play any worse unless his back is just really bothering him badly. Can't fall down 0-2 - that is a steep hill to climb. 1-1 gives us a legit chance of winning this series. We got Game 2 at Milwaukee to tie it 1-1 and won in 6. We will see how it goes down. I can almost promise everyone this, the REFS won't be near as bad, they are on watch now.
  11. Fun time of the offseason. Studying the schedule is always fun and trying to give early predictions what might be a win or a loss. I rank this the 5th best football day of the year only behind: 1. SB Sunday 2. NFC/AFC Title Game Sunday 3. Opening Day = Opening Sunday because that is when most of the games are played to open the season. 4. First day of the Draft 5. Schedule day!
  12. Heading into May 8th, here are the NL Central Standings: 1. Brewers 21-14 - .600% 2. Cubs 22-15 - .595% = (tied for 1st, %points behind) 3. Pirates 17-20 - .459% (5 back) 4. Reds 16-19 - .457 (5 back) 5. Cards 15-21 (6.5 back) Cubs beat the Padres yesterday 3-2 with Busch's' walk off Homerun. Bellinger is back as well. He had a Belli Bomb (Belly Bomb ) and went 3-4.
  13. The Brady cheat factor is factored in somewhat, but he was only accused of cheating once. In 2014 = DeflateGate. I think he probably did cheat that season and have said so many times. I think he knew and had the balls deflated. Having said that, he still won SB's in 2016, 2018, and 2020. He won in 2020 without Belichick on a different team. There is no evidence he cheated in any of those years. The difference between me and most is, I put my hatred Biases aside when I do lists. I want people take my lists serious. Peyton is my favorite player of all-time and I hated Tom but going by all measures, Tom was just better, and it pains me to say it. I factor in everything. = Stats, Win shares, League MVP's, SB MVP's, Talent of a QB, Clutch factor, SB wins, overall wins, longevity, and eye test. Peyton only has Tom beat in 2 categories = He was more talented, and he won 5 League MVP's to Tom's 2. Statistically it was pretty even, by my eye test it was pretty even as well. I do think League MVP is a very important factor because it is an individual award, so that alone puts Peyton in the top 3. Winning that 2nd SB was big for his legacy too.
  14. It was at the end of the game where the Pacers got robbed. Knicks clearly set a much more physical screen prior to Myles' screen, and it wasn't called. The kick ball was the major call, that call isn't reviewable by NBA rules and for some reason they reviewed it anyway. That gave the Knicks the ball and they went down and made to go ahead 3. Then that offensive foul screen call on Myles was the weakest call i have seen all playoffs. He barely grazed him. Pacers down 1 with 8 seconds to go and they call that?? Yes we got robbed, REFS even apologized the next day and say they got the kick ball call wrong. Almost everyone in the media wants NY to win but they even admit we got robbed. Not really sure what you were watching but the last 2 minutes of the game was horrendously Ref'd. Haliburton didn't play well but the Reffing at the end almost made it looked rigged.
  15. The REFS are still bad. Pacers pretty much got jobbed last night but it was a great entertaining game. Regarding Brunson, he played for our guy George Clooney at Villanova and won 2 National Championships in 2016 and 2018. Brunson is a fantastic player. @w87r, I sort of disagree with you about Haliburton. Rick Carlisle was on the morning show earlier and said that Haliburton is dealing with a major back issue. He did play through it vs the Bucks but it has got worse apparently. If you have a back issue (especially a major one), it takes away your ability to do almost anything. I knew something was wrong because around the 2nd Qtr he wasn't aggressive at all after that. He usually at least drives hard and makes the right pass if his shot is off.
  16. I will still watch but not happy with the REFS at all. I expected it so I shouldn't be surprised. How about Minny up 2-0 on Denver. They won both games in Denver!
  17. Some things never change. I tried to get back to watching, then learned tonight how the REFS still operate.
  18. That was the worse REF'd game I have watched in a long time. They made sure the Knicks were going to win. We played better and clearly have the better team. You can't breathe on Brunson without it being a foul and that nonsense call on Myles at the end was so bad that it disgusts me to be an NBA fan.
  19. 6th. Which is reasonable, it was a different game back then and I also factor in talent of a player but he is 6th IMO. I have Elway 7th, Rodgers 8th, Sammy Baugh 9th, and Brett Favre 10th. Favre over Marino because he won a SB and more League MVP's. Favre over Brees because Brees never won an MVP. Bradshaw won 4 SB's but his stats don't measure up to most of these guys,
  20. You and I have butted heads over the years, but I at least acknowledge that Tom is the GOAT. I take my lists serious and factor in every measurable possible. There are like 10 different factors I use, and I always come up with the same Top 5 = 1. Tom Brady 2. Joe Montana 3. Peyton Manning 4. Pat Mahomes 5. Johnny Unitas - Mahomes IMO needs to win another League MVP to pass Peyton or another SB win would do it. 3-2 in SB wins is a slim margin considering Peyton is 5-2 League MVP wise. Peyton getting that 2nd SB win with 2 different teams is still huge IMO. Only Brady has done that with 2 different teams.
  21. That is what I liked about Tom's burn; it wasn't rude but true in so many ways.
