  1. It wasn't me who reported it. I was just passing on the news I heard. It looks like a month now.
  2. You would be correct, here are the correct stats and W/L as a starter Young 750 Yards, 63.9%, 5 TD's/0 rushing TD's (totaling 5 TD's), 4 INT's. 0-4 as a starter. AR 577 Yards, 59.5%, 3 TD's/4 rushing TD's (totaling 7 TD's), 1 INT. 2-2 as a starter. Stroud 1461 Yards, 61.3%, 7 TD's/0 rushing TD's (totaling 7 TD's), 0 INT's. 2-3 as a starter. -What is funny is, AR has the same amount of total TD's that Stroud has and a better record. Stroud just smokes him in passing Yards though. -If a QB starts a game, he gets credited for a win or loss. No matter how long he is in. Per: NFL.
  3. Regarding your 2nd paragraph = 1st sentence, we were up 14-0 against Houston with him starting and he was even outplaying Stroud early. We were also ahead yesterday when he got injured. The 1 game he did and start and finish, we lost in OT and he never touched the ball in OT. Probably not your intention but your 1st sentence makes it sound like he has started and finished 3 or 4 games and lost.
  4. I figured it would be a few games. If he did come back in a month, it would be the game at Carolina. How good is that? Mustache can hold it down for 2 or 3 games. This news a lot better than what this could have been, a broken Collar Bone would have put him out for the year.
  5. Also if we can the run ball like we have been doing, we will be tough to beat for most teams. Moss and Taylor both are dangerous.
  6. My prediction of 8-8-1 is looking better by the moment and I may have even underestimated this team. We could win 9 and the division if we beat the Jags next week. Health will play a huge part but even with AR getting banged up quite a bit, we have a backup that can pick up the slack for a few games here and there. I think Mustache could start for a few teams, he is a great backup without question. At least average to above average starter IMO. He reminds me of when we had Matt Hasselbeck, with Matt even though aging, we still had a chance to win when Luck was out. I have been really impressed with our D.Line so far and Franklin is playing out of his mind. Coaching wise, so far I give Shane a B, which is very solid. He has made a few bad calls but what coach doesn't. He has made more right decisions than wrong one's though.
  7. OK my W/L record so far for Week 5 is: 8-5, I almost nailed the Falcons/Texans score. I had Falcons winning 20-19, they won 21-19. I have the Packers tonight. I split again on my bets = 1-1. Colts came through for me, Bills screwed me over. So, for the season I am 7-3 betting $50 - 2 games each week with spreads involved. I am still stuck on $200 to the good. 7 out of 10 is 70% on bets which is technically great but ever since weeks 1 and 2, I keep breaking even.
  8. So far they look like a machine. I honestly think because of the way they are built they are the 1 team that can just plug an above average QB in and make deep runs every year. Great defense, great play makers, great coaching. Look at Jimmy G, he was the QB when they went to a SB and went back to an NFC Championship Game barely losing. He is just an above average to good QB, nothing great. Purdy does look like the real deal as in good at worse. His record as a starter is great at 10-0.
  9. I wouldn't go that far with it, his injuries are concerning but saying "glass" is a little early. There have been a number of rookie QB's in the history of this league that get banged up in their rookie year with injuries. Some even season enders, Joe Burrow to name one and look how he turned out. If a QB does tend to run more than the normal pocket passer that doesn't mean he will be more injury prone either. Aaron Rodgers almost a whole season because of a broken Collar Bone when he was in his prime, Tom Brady in 2008 missed a whole season after a leg injury in week 1, once again Joe Burrow in his rookie season out because of a leg injury and he has looked gimpy so far this year. All of those guys are mainly pocket passers and 3 of the best to do it.
  10. So far not being biased, Stroud has been the best out of the 3. It is mainly because he has been able to stay healthy which reliability is important obviously. When AR has been out there, he has looked better than I thought he would. Young has been the worst of the 3 IMO, he can't stay healthy either (missing 2 games already) and his team is 0-5. At least AR has made some spectacular plays.
  11. Yeah has to be because we named as so at the beginning. Turning back would be a bad look.
  12. I agree with that but I still think it will be the 49ers vs Lions in the NFC Title Game. I think Philly will get upset, it is tough to make the SB 2 years in a row.
  13. Gilmore may have wished he stayed here after the way the 49ers are demolishing Dallas
  14. I think both QB's have played well actually.
  15. I am not going to sugar coat it, AR getting injured every other game is bothersome. I was deflated when he went out but got over it pretty quickly once we won. It is too early to tell though if this will be an ongoing thing.
  16. When Tannehill plays us, he usually looks like Joe Montana carving us up with his dinks and dunks for some reason. He also usually has his 1 Michael Vick run which he did today. It is comical but we finally beat him and his coach. Huge key was, we held them to FG's mainly when they got into the RedZone and the big 4th down stop at the end where they got 0 points. How many times does Henry get stopped on 4th and 1, it rarely happens.
  17. Not me, as long as we win that is all that matters.
  18. Compared to last season, this season has been a lot better so far, good and exciting. The team is better mainly because of coaching. I like the way the players are responding to Shane. Also Mustache fits Shane's offense really well. AR does as well. I am not sure how anyone can stop our running game with Moss and Taylor. All we have to do is keep defenses honest with a couple of big pass plays here and there and we should pile up the rushing yards.
  19. Of course, we are all concerned about AR. He may not even play next week but the injury doesn't sound as bad as it did. I thought he may have broke his Collar Bone.
  20. During halftime of the 49ers/Cowboys game, on NBC, they reported that AR does indeed have an AC Joint injury and could even play next week depending on the severity of the injury.
  21. I just had DoorDash deliver me some King Ribs. I got Ribs with Barbecue Sauce, Baked Beans, and Mac n Cheese with a couple of rolls. I am enjoying my victory dinner, drinking me a glass of Crown Royal on the rocks. I think it is beyond hilarious that we are 3-2 and many had us picked to only win 3 games.
