  1. Yeah SW1 hasn't posted in like a year I think?? Hope he is ok.
  2. Out of what I have seen from AR in the 4 games he played in, he looks legit. To me I still want to win too. Just sick of losing the last 2 years and not making the playoffs. This mantra of 'lets wait until next year when winning matters' is getting thin with me. Then again, I believe in our roster more than most. I want to see how we play against the Jags. If we beat them, then we can win the division.
  3. I am not sure he will ever be that or even be great but he has played good football. He fits our system.
  4. It is probably because you don't think Mustache is any good. From what I have seen this year, he looks good to me. We also could possibly have a lethal run game now and just pound it down teams throats. Our D.Line is no slouch either + I think our coach is solid good.
  5. Damn we agree again, is hell is freezing over . I think Mustache could possibly bring us the same amount wins this year as AR starting every game, AR is just a rookie and is just learning a lot. As it stands, we still could win 9 or so if we stay healthy in all the other key areas. Our schedule is pretty weak. Point is though, AR starting as a rookie was necessary because of getting in game Reps and play. That would make him better going into a year 2 and smarter on how to play the game vs Pro's. The 4 games he has played have been very valuable in many ways already.
  6. Yeah because that Jax game is enormous regarding tiebreakers and the division. If we go 3-2 over the next 5 with a win over the Jags, I will take it.
  7. Out of all the years to have a great backup, we picked the right one.
  8. That is why I think we could be something like 7-6 after 13 games. If we beat the Jags this week, sky is the limit. I see 8-5 then
  9. Lets say we only get him for the last 4 games. If Mustache can get us to 7-6 we would still be in a playoff hunt.
  10. Worst case scenario I think we will be 5-5. Then AR returns after the Bye. Mustache is good for at least 2 wins if not 3. Lets say we are 5-5, we can still make the playoffs at that point.
  11. If he doesn't have surgery, I doubt he will be out 8 weeks. They are just saying that to be cautious. I think he misses 5 games if I had to guess and comes back after the Bye on November 26th. I am not a doctor or psychic so that is a guess - I could be wrong. If he comes back after the Bye, we will have him for the last 7 games.
  12. We play the Patriots in that 5th game and they stink so the schedule is favorable with the Panthers and Pats on it.
  13. 2-2 is my prediction looking at the schedule. If we beat the Jags it will be 3-1.
  14. We just put him on IR according to ESPN's Get Up = Greenberg and Saturday, as of now they are saying he may miss only 4 games and no surgery needed.
  15. I shocked ol' Doug - yeah we don't agree on much, so I had to pull a Fred Sanford.
  16. This might be the best of this thread , one of the funniest things I have ever heard
  17. Reading defenses and making the right play are the 2 most important things. That is what Peyton did great. From what I have seen so far, AR has been above average at worse doing that. That hasn't been the problem, problem is he keeps getting Injured. He can still run, just do it out of the pocket and then slide. No design runs should be called. Being a dual QB has its advantages.
  18. They need to be careful what they wish for
  19. Jefferson being out sucks. Kirk has to be like - what in the hell is going on this season
  20. I still thought it was funny. Looks like Homer burnt something down and said son, lets get out of here
  21. 2021 was a kick to the teeth! It cost us a playoff berth. 2018 was shocking, only time in Luck's career that he was shutout! Those 2 really standout.
  22. To the OP, by that post, I doubt you have even watched AR play. When he has played, he has been borderline good. 7 total TD's, 59.5% completions which is technically 60% rounded up, only 1 INT. Also, when we played Houston at Houston, he had 2 early TDs to put us up 14-0 so our defense could control the game. Stroud was playing catch up all day. Did you see his comeback against the Rams down 23-0? Most of that was passing. I think Mustache is a bit underrated, I have him above average and he can win us some games, but AR has a chance to be special. Just pile on the guy while he is injured = Booooooooooo.
