  1. I am one of the biggest optimists in here but if we lose Mustache, season is over.
  2. Kelly is perfectly fine, he was full practice yesterday, unless he fell in the shower this morning .
  3. Every year fans have a new main punching bag, this year it seems to be Pierce - Guy is in year 2, give him time.
  4. All of those guys were full practice yesterday except for Smith. They will all play in all likely hood except maybe Smith.
  5. Which is really a bad rule, it should always be head to head between said top 2 teams, but you are right. Had the Texans won last week we would get the tiebreaker because the Texans beat the Jags and we beat the Texans.
  6. - this will be him soon, give it about 3 or 4 more games.
  7. I am 50/50 on this subject. We do need another playmaker at WR. I might consider giving up a 4th but that is the best offer I would consider. He is a talented WR but is inconsistent as well.
  8. The only thing the MLB can really do is maybe expand the playoffs to 8 teams in each league, instead of 6. Have 0 Bye's and just play a format like: 1 vs 8 2 vs 7 3 vs 6 4 vs 5 Make those the best of 3 to start. -I realize 8 teams is a lot but there are 15 teams in each league. So 8 get in, 7 miss.
  9. Kelly is having a nice bounce back season. He is healthy and his mind is right for once. Our O.Line the last 3 weeks has played good and he is a big part of it.
  10. Everyone had the Chiefs last night. So far skimming through everyone's picks (counting last night), The top 3 in here so far are: 1. 2006 (me) 53-26 2. w87r and Moe are tied for 2nd at 50-29. Moe, you are actually 50-29, not 50-28 because a missed pick is considered a loss unfortunately. You missed picking 1 game, I think it was 2 or 3 weeks ago if I remember correctly. It is funny, the 2 guys that love the Simpsons are kicking butt, - I figured w87r would do well picking games just by his past posts.
  11. Yeah I kind of had a feeling it would be wide open in the playoffs. That is why being a Cubs fan, I kept preaching 'JUST GET IN'. It didn't happen. The D Backs to their credit are making the best of it. Marlins and Brewers both flaked out quick.
  12. Down goes the Braves. @Jared Cisneros, thoughts. I am surprised. Baseball is the oddest sport out of the main 3 = NFL, NBA, MLB. The best team in the regular season gets knocked out a lot. Maybe it is the pressure that team feels going into the playoffs being favored. Cubs had the best record in 2016 and just survived to win the WS and that was the greatest team the Cubs ever had with 103 wins. ALCS is set = Rangers vs Astros NLCS is set = D Backs vs Phillies -Only 4 teams left. The Cubs barley not getting in even makes me more upset now because the NL has been a complete crapshoot! D Backs finished 1 game better than Cubs. I will go back to that 13 inning game we lost to them in September, that was the turning point where we started to fizzle, and they caught fire. I knew right after that game; it was a bad loss!
  13. That is all she wrote, 19-8 Chiefs. Wilson 94 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT's! Damn, Mahomes was 30-40 on his passes for 306 Yards.
  14. Losing Cook was a massive blow. I think with him, you guys would be 3-2 instead of 1-4.
  15. I know I was like, dude don't pull on his arm
  16. To your 1st 2 sentences, exactly. That is what makes this thread golden
  17. I don't know, last year he was 11-0 in 1 score games. He was pushing a lot of right buttons last year in crunch time. Kirk was also pretty clutch too. This season, the Vikings have had some bad breaks IMO.
  18. Easy win for the Chiefs. Wilson looks washed up!
  19. Leonard, Paye, and Raimann were full practice. That is great news. Going into this game we look pretty healthy. It is going to happen soon where Leonard creates a huge critical turnover, maybe it will be this week.
