I agree. We got a steal with Latu. Might be Ballard's best pick ever if the guy is a great Pro. Edge Rusher is arguably the 2nd most important position in Football in todays game. QB is #1, then after that between Edge and an explosive WR it is close. LT as well.

I never really had a strong opinion on this, so I was 50/50 from the beginning. It is cool to see some of the best posters admit they were wrong though about this. Good move. Matt Ryan was excellent as an analyst this past season when broadcasting games. FWIW regarding my top 50 QB's ever, and this took me a week to do because I had to study every QB that ever played in the NFL since 1935 including Sammy Baugh lol, all 3 made my top 50 and so did Andrew Luck just to throw that out. Having said that, this isn't about who was better on the field or my QB list, it's about who will be better on TV. I never really liked Simms or Boomer in the studio, Matt Ryan seems more brighter to me anyway. I thought the best move that CBS ever made was getting rid of Simms being Jim Nantz sidekick doing games. Romo is 10 times better. Jim Nantz is the GOAT and deserved better than Simms.

Pretty predictable really because eventhough they are short handed, they still have good players, were at home, and beating them 4 games in a row was asking a lot. We will be ok and close them out at home on Thursday.

Thanks. I think the thing with Penix is, they are shocked that Atlanta picked him because they have Cousins. Not because Penix isn't a 1st round pick. IMO, had Penix not been taken by Atlanta, I would find it hard to believe the Broncos would have passed on him. They drafted Nix at 12, that pick would have been Penix, still making Penix a top 12 pick. Penix without debate is better than Nix.
