I think many in here underestimate Jimmy G. With him I believe we can 11 games, Winston is also good. We will see what happens.

If we don't get a good QB that is where we are headed. Mariota would give us 7 or 8 wins, then we won't even a top 10 pick lol. We either tank with Sam or we go for Winston or Jimmy G is the way I look at it. Some may disagree.

The QB position is so important that a team with a good one could make a 4 or 5 game improvement with the right one. I actually do like Winston. He looked good last year before he got injured. He even cut down in the INT's.

4 wins isn't many, we could split with Houston and Jacks, maybe pull an upset off against the Giants, maybe even beat Carson and Washington.

Yeah basically that would be tanking but we will waste a year of Taylor's career.

The thing is there are probably other teams that are offering Lynch a 2nd for him. If Ballard just sits there and does nothing then he is off the board. I don't see Carr being traded so that leaves Winston. Otherwise we are stuck with a QB that is worse than Carson unless we get Ryan.

This idea that Jimmy G is just going to be cut is a pipe dream. No way Lynch does that . Dude is a good QB that wins a lot. He is going to want a 2nd or maybe a 3rd and 4th.

I will say this we need a QB and a LT. I would be happy if traded for Jimmy G and signed Armstead for now, then do good in the draft.

I think the thing that is frustrating to people is we haven't got a QB yet so people are panicking. It is safe to say the smart thing to do is to upgrade if you just kick Wentz to the curb otherwise Ballard and Irsay are saying mail it in in 2022. We have 7 pro-bowlers, a good roster, and 70 Mill to spend. Getting a QB like Mariota would just be an insult - Carson is better. Go out and get Winston or Jimmy G for cry and out loud, then sign a player like Armstead to protect them. I am patient and get on people for not being patient but this is getting to the point where it is dicey. I am starting think Ballard is doing this - when a deal is in the works. On paper the Jags look good now no matter what anyone says + they have a franchise QB which is scary.

If I had one game to win and you gave me a choice between Jimmy or Carson, I am taking Jimmy. I have never once said that Jimmy is elite or anything but with a good roster around him he always has a chance of winning. Carson like Tannehill will just find dumb ways to lose.

Ryan gets a raw deal, he has been one of the best QB's over the last 10 years - in the top 10 each year. He is as good as Matt Stafford is, they are pretty even. Rams put a team around Stafford and he won a SB. You are right because we had Peyton and then Andrew, everyone will look at guys like Jimmy G as average. In realithy Jimmy is actually good.

I am one of the most patient people in here and even have accused our fans of being spoiled but after a while losing gets old. Take some chances Ballard, that is why we got you in here. Hell Matt Ryan would give us 11 wins .

I know, we could trade for Carr, sign Armstead and Robinson and there will be some on here saying Carr isn't worth it, Armstead is injury prone eventhough technically he is arguably the best LT in football, and Robinson is too expensive but yet the only good WR we have is Pittman. Yet we missed the playoffs last year so some are content with that . I have patience but when you haven't won a playoff game in 4 years, something isn't right so it is time to spend some money and make key moves. In life if you don't try then you will never succeed. If we sign those guys or trade and fail, at least we tried. We are 70 Mill under the Salary Cap right, 70 Mill - time to roll the dice.
