Appreciate all the good stuff youre finding! Game was blacked out here - but WOW Mack looks the part
-
Definitely Wilson. Looking forward to seeing him progress through the next few games.
Anyone notice anything good good or bad from Hairston? Never noticed him
-
That would be Mitchell, not Melvin. Walker was no worse than I expected for his first game.
And you said it - it's preseason. Everything is vanilla. As much as you can criticize Chuds play calling last year, you can't really say much when it's the preseason.

With coltman dropping out, would you like to drop down to the 6th spot or stay where you are?
I'll stay, thanks!

Lol,
Current draft order, reverse of last year's season standings and taking into account teams that left.
1.
2. @Bluefire4
3. @IndyD4U
4. Luck be a lady
5. @BPindy
6. @Btown_Colt
7. Team hulce
8. @Coltman51
9. Me
10.
We have to fill the vacant spots with @chad72 and @Lucky Colts Fan
However, to prevent new people from possibly getting best positions, I offer vacant spots first to the person below and then above.
So #1 is being offered to #2. If he doesn't take it, and since there is No one above #1, it is locked as vacant and will be filled by one of the new guys.
#10 is also vacant, since I do not want to drop down, that spot is locked.
Here is where things change and a vote is needed. If #2 takes #1, that leaves #2 vacant. If I follow like I did last year, #2 would be locked and become a vacant spot for one of the news guys to fill.
However, the league has the option to change that and have sort of a continual offering. In this setting, #2 would then be offered to #3. IF #3 takes it, then #4 would be offered #3.
However, if #3 declines #2, Then #4 would not get offered #2 and would become locked.
So, do you want me to lock it after one move like last year or do a continuous offering?
I'm fine with just locking it after one

GEE WHIZ! Now Hooker isn't practicing and Basham is hurt?! This practice can't end soon enough.
Hooker is on a pitch count and they are super precautionary with everything. I'm sure all is well

Clowney breezing past Dwayne Allen for a strip sack pretty much summed up the season
-
So is it the 2nd or 3rd? 3rd is much better for me as I will be on the road on the 2nd, but I can make it work if I need to

So my friends and I have a keeper league where you can take 2 players 2 rounds earlier than they were drafted the previous year. This often takes away a bunch of the top players. This year the most notable names off limits are Johnson, Odell Beckham, Freeman, Gordon, Howard, and Ajayi........and I'm picking 12th.
I will already have my receivers off to a good start (get Baldwin and M Thomas in later rounds). So who do I go after?
Ill be lucky if Murray gets to me, so would you reach for Fournette and Gurley?
-
I really don't know how to choose between Bell and Johnson. I wouldn't have my mind made up until my draft time hits 0 and I randomely select one
-
Bostic is pretty much guaranteed at this point. He's been with the 1's with Morrison consistently
-
From the live video on Facebook earlier I was impressed with Haeg. Just a few reps but he looks comfortable out there. Cheers to hopefully having an Oline!

Just off of stats it won't be any of the big name historical qbs. Most of the younger qbs are on way faster paces (especially for yards)

I thought it was 99% CTE, no? Either way, that's a lot.
99% of NFL players, 90% of all brains examined (even some players that only played high school ball had it)

Just like all youth today, these guys are softer, are coddled more, and because of the money they make , they can "afford" to sit.
also, because of the investment mad in these guys, i think teams are more cautious. The union also makes it difficult now to cut players for injuries. Can u imagine if us in the "real world" tried that crap?
i also think athletes of today have their bodies tweaked as high as they will go. Think of a ferrari vs a toyota camry. Which is gonna have more problems? Add in off-season training which doesn't allow the body to rest and heal like it needs. Then soft camps with less hitting and tackling:
i think there are lots of reasons for this.
sports nutrition and conditioning has advanced, and players are on average bigger and stronger.
More muscle mass --> easier to tear soft tissue. Especially when players bulk up quickly and their supporting structures can't adapt fast enough.

Hopefully Luck can get a few reps in the last preseason game. I'm not worried about him either way though
-
Eastern time zone, my vote is for Sept. 3rd but I can make almost any weekend work
-
Wow, gotta feel for Chiefs fans. Lose the GM and his predecessor in the same offseason
-
Anybody open to making TD passes 6 points for QBs? Makes the difference between good/bad QBs a little more realistic and makes the first few rounds of the draft a bit more interesting IMO
-
Too bad about Leak. I was rooting for him
-
Yep yep I'm in
-
Realistically he's top 50 but people are still holding on to that terrible 2015 season. He'll keep rising
-
You know a ton of the 1st rounders haven't signed yet right? He's on the field...
-
Make it happen big man! Even an average defense would've gotten us 3-4 more wins last year

Im in NC, so I have no idea why it was blacked out but NFL network said there were broadcast restrictions. Oh well
