Of course he doesn't like the state of the team. I'd be worried about him if he didn't feel that way. Nobody like the current state of the team. Doesn't mean he's going to demand a trade after signing a 6 year deal

I will say a stout run defense was a pleasant surprise for once, but this defense will do no better until Davis is back.

You're right, he gets it on his reputation of being a solid starter for over a decade in the league. I'm as excited for Mack as anyone, but I want to see him do it against some starters first. If he deserves it, the job will be his.
