That's strange a day after the draft....maybe the owners wanted one of the Qbs

Judging from his highlight reel, it looks like he already knows enough to be dangerous.
That man knows how to juke. Wow

I think Perine or Hill can be every bit as good as any back not named Fournette or Mixon. I'm not worried. And even if CB decides against an RB entirely, Gore will be fine this year with Turbin to complement.

I can dig it!!!

Honestly would have preferred Foster. Not really understanding the pick, unless Geathers is moving to LB why did we resign Butler?
Butler can still play corner...

Chiefs moving up 17 spots to draft Mahomes. Insanity

I love the people who are down on him because of injuries and then want Allen. Clearly there's a reason he's fallen.
Also, don't listen to ESPN to make your opinion on a pick. They've been showing the bad side of every player taken.

If you would have told me Lattimore wasn't going top 10, I would have called you crazy.

Now take Ross! Love the board so far

Top 10 in rushing D, better play from Oline, win AFC South
-
I probably wouldn't, but I won't be too upset if he ends up being our pick. I'm convinced he's going to be at least a solid starter in the league, but the defense just needs too much help for him to be my guy.

I don't know. I like TY Hiltons size more in that ILB spot. He could lay the wood on anyone

I think Jones had a good record of playing in Baltimore.
And I thiink he played 11-12 games for the Colts last year.
The two seasons he didn't play much for the Colts, Jones suffered two high ankle sprains. Those aren't his fault and are not a sign of an injury prone guy. Stuff happens.
I was hoping he'd re-structure his deal again this season. Sorry it didn't work out.
I would've been fine with a restructure, but that was never likely to happen, especially with Ballard sticking to his philosophy and bringing in his own guys. His fault or not, 17 out of 48 games is just not good (also had a suspension in there). I definitely didn't dislike the guy, just his price tag.

We had 7 lineman last year, you've just listed 4. And none of them are NT starters. I don't know why you think Jones can't play the nose, he did often during his 3 years with the Colts.
Parry is the missing name here.
But we've lost all our quality depth this off-season at the D-line. It's now late in the off-season to be signing a D-lineman of any quality. And I doubt we're spending more than one pick on the D-line.
We are down bodies. I'm sorry we were unable to workout a deal for a reduced contract for Jones.
Can't really be counted as a body if you're never available to play

Mixon at the top definitely surprised me. Hunt is too low imo. Should be top 10

Adam V is the oldest ever. I believe next closest would've been Hasselbeck at 40. Don't think anyone else has gotten over 40
edit: just looked it up for fun. K Matt Stover was 41 and QB Joe Ferguson was 40.

Will be listed as a safety

One year makes zero sense for the Colts. I'm glad they didn't sign him if he wouldn't budge on that

Just so you are in the know buddy... we signed Sheard today.... don't know about you, but I am prairie dogging!
(hope you know I am having fun and being sarcastic)
I don't know...I'll just have to wait until training camp to confirm

That Kony Ealy trade is nuts. I'd have done that, for sure.
No kidding. Move back 8 spots and get a 25 year old playmaker that just had a little bit of a down year? Its like Christmas for NE

Can anyone tell me if the Colts signed Sheard? I only see 5 threads on it and want to be sure
-
I'm sure we won't spend the money for him but my #1 would be Williams. Wouldn't be against Logan Ryan

Aside from the draft pick, that's a lot of cap room that just opened up!!
Bills fire their GM
in NFL General

Ah, I somehow missed their selection. Thanks. Still, I can't remember ever seeing a GM fired within 24 hrs of the draft
