  1. And Carson was doing that crazy stuff as a veteran in the league. He should've been able to read defenses by that point to make the right call to throw the ball away. Not throw into a three man coverage, or a left handed pass deep in his own territory... Situational awareness!
  2. Ella Fitzgerald... She's definitely there. Maybe Rihanna? How do we feel about Joan Jett or even Dolly Parton? Shania Twain too? lol...
  3. Mariah is just so damn talented. I'm sitting here thinking of so many female singers better than Taylor. Mary J. Bilge, Tina Turner, Adele (not a big fan of her music but can't deny the talent), Nina Simone...
  4. I was just a kid. But I was all in on Manning before we even drafted him. The Smoky Mountains were my all time favorite vacation area, and by '98 I pretty much loved everything Tennessee including the Volunteers lol. Even wanted to move down there at that period of my life. Needless to say I didn't care or pay attention to Leaf. But again I was just a kid. I didn't know any better at the time, but I'm so glad we chose Peyton.
  5. Leonard wasn't drafted for this type of defense. I absolutely love him, and everything he's done for the Colts. But unless things change, I think he might be gone next season to a team that fits his style better.
  6. I'm in agreement with RollingStone, I've got Whitney as the 2nd greatest singer of all time. The #1 is Aretha Franklin. Right now my current favorite voice is Jay Buchanan from Rival Sons. He screams notes I wasn't sure the human voice was even capable of hitting. Taylor is pretty and her songs are catchy. That's the perfect combination for a pop star.
  7. Titans are up and down so far. They lost to the Saints, but beat the Chargers... Got destroyed by Cleveland but then turned around and murdered the Bengals. It's going to come down to individual matchups.
  8. If within those 9 years we won a Super Bowl with AR, yes. Yes I would. That's just my stupid take and opinion though. It means nothing. Young could ball out the rest of the year and win offensive rookie of the year.
  9. I got absolutely trashed on Reddit for wanting Stroud and Richardson over Young. I'll die on my hill and say I'd rather have 9 games of AR over 17 with Young.
  10. It's way too early, but just for the sake of being dumb and overreacting I'd say CJ is obviously looking the best so far, while Young is looking the worst. BUT, Young is possibly still injured so who knows... I think Richardson is going to continue to play his own style and forge a different path than Stroud, and that's okay. Rejoice Texans fans, O'Brien can no longer hurt you. They just might have finally figured football out enough to have some sustainable success for a while. The AFC South might be in trouble. TLDR: At the quarter mark Stroud is doing great, Richardson is fun to watch, and Young is struggling.
  11. I would think Joe Burrow would have created some extra incentive for these kids. Yeah he went to a really cruddy run franchise, but he came out getting paid a freaking quarter of a billion dollars... Go out, get drafted, play your heart out and then get paid.
  12. I would love nothing more for this team right now than for bygones to be bygones and for everyone to get work and help Richardson out. Taylor could still help his case for a huge payday by having big moments this year. It's Monday and I'm just going to choose to be optimistic today...
  13. Mahomey doesn't look too happy or interested this season. The Jets could've picked him off another 2 times.
  14. I'll be checking out ladies and gents. Had fun on this thread for most of the year until September hit. At least the Reds managed to barely scrape out an over .500 season. Not really much to celebrate at the end though. I've been burned too many times as a fan to expect much to change next season. We'll probably trade and lose players for random AAA kids who'll never work out. I just can't watch the Dodgers and other big money teams walk into the playoffs yet again. It's getting old. So, for now, I bid thee all a fond farewell from the baseball thread.
  15. They absolutely killed the Bengals. I hope we can show more mettle. We've lost 5 straight to them, and it's been 3 years since we last won.
  16. NICU is absolute hell as a parent. The staff are some of the most amazing and caring human beings, but despite that you're constantly on edge...
  17. Aww not one but two rainbow babies. Family always comes first. Blessings to the Kelly family.
  18. That’s fair. I guess my overall point is it’s good to sometimes overlook where a player was drafted and see them for what they are based on their performance and merits. It’s too early to crown the kid as elite, but he’s made an excellent start to his career and is showing to be reliable.
  19. Any time the Steelers lose it’s a good day.
  20. 3-1!!! It helps when I’ve got Jefferson, Andrews, Mostert, Brown, Hurts and now Archane on the team. I scored a total of 200 points today, first time that’s ever happened lol…
  21. His head literally turned a weird way. Any * in a zebra outfit could see it.
