Well it was on the news last night that the Explosion on the southside of Indy is now a Criminal Homiside Investigation. That is so sad that 2 innocent people lost their lives and many their homes are destroyed. I just hope they find those responsible and they are brought to justice.

Your cat Peyton is AWESOME Gramz! Yes, I like dogs too. I like most pets as long as they don't try to put me on their diner menu & eat me. Translation: No snakes, hyenas, alligators, or exotic illegally imported wildlife please. Thanks.
Gramz, I know that you are a very caring person who takes good care of all her friends, family, pets, & people in need. You have a great personality, a good soul, & you aid & assist anyone who needs help. Thank you for th...

Remember, TV is a visual medium.... people want to see what's going on. Anyone can sit inside a studio and tell you about it. People in TV want to SHOW you what's happening. But, at some point, reporters need to be extra careful. You can be outside during a Hurricane and get yourself KILLED. Debris and downed power lines and such don't care if you're a reporter. They'll kill you just as quick as they'll kill anyone else. But TV people really are sincer...

NCF, yes TV is indeed a visual medium. But, that's the problem: Real investigative reporting in this country is dead or at least on life support because journalism is a popularity contest now consumed with not losing access to governors, mayors, senators, and the Chief of fire & police. You can't critique, criticize, or use critical thinking anymore. If you do, you lose access & get fired. What about the story? Not kissing butt.

MCF, I agree 100% safety in the midst of a natural disaster is truly essential & warranted. Being in the heart of a calamity in the forefront, doesn't mean you need to put yourself in danger, volatile situations, & bodily harm. Great reporters still create a vivid storyline & tapestry without being exposed to the elements. Use imagery, description, and the power of the written word to transport me into another person's experience=real journalism.

Doing something today most women hate to do. Cleaning the bathroom from top to bottom. Didn't know one woman could be so dirty. Rosie must be getting it dirty and she is napping while I clean. What a life she has.

Sp sad that I read on NFL.com that Andy Reid's son was found dead at Eagles TC. My prayers and thoughts go out to the Reid family and Eagles Organization. RIP Garrett

Well I'm bummed out because I can't work training camp this year because of my asthma and allergies with the heat situation. Oh well if it would change before camp is over maybe I can try one day. Total bummer to say the least.
-
You know I'm really a patientperson but this heat (with having asthma) is about to get the best of me. If it doesn't let up I may not be able to work Colts Camp and that will make me a very unhappy camper. For the first week I have signed up for the early schedule so I can be out of there maybe before the heat and humidity gets really high. Ugh

Just saw a New Buick commercial and guess who was in it????? None other than Peyton. Just thought I would post this and see if anyone else has seen it yet ?
-
Colts Training Camp is right around the corner and they only have 89 volunteers. They need about 200 or more so it looks like they are going to have to use some of the students that might already be here for the school year. Last year they had a lot more than that. Wonder what the problem is?
-
Well the Thunder just beat the Spurs and going to the NBA Finals. Hope the Celtics beat the Heat tomorrow night.
-
Well the Heat got beat at home tonight. I really hate that. NOT Go Boston !!!!!!!!!
-
Well I'm not really a Basketball fan but I'm watching Boston/Miami and hoping the Heat get beat tonight. They are doing pretty good hope they can keep it up. They are up 16 points right now. GO BOSTON !!!!!!!

Don't know what happened to summer because when I saw the temp on the TV it said 58. Wasn't ready for the 90's we had but didn't want to go back to the 50's. Guess I'm never happy. :-)
