  1. I would be completely shocked if they didn’t run the starters together for at least a few series if not a quarter.
  2. JT is no Henry…I mean in my opinion Henry is far more valuable. If we are basing it off your list above JT is more like $9mil at most.
  3. Players are rarely loyal to a team, and teams aren’t really loyal to players unless they perform..so I will not buy an active players jersey unless they retired a colt and was here long enough. like good ol’ Vinny…get that kickers jersey…good choice.
  4. It’s probably also meaning that the scouting staff has maybe increased a guy or two I would think… meaning that there would be one or two new guys whose sole job it is would be to scout the 3rd,4th stringers on all the other 31 teams watching for talent and rating them for the cut day(s) watching since they don’t get cut a little at a time.
  5. This Taylor situation is a big reason why I don’t support buying player jerseys. I much prefer buying a jersey with your own name or “Colts” on the nameplate etc… I’m not sure there is much Taylor can do for me publicly that will make me change my mind about him. I hate players who don’t honor their contract…and I especially hate players who publicly express it. If you’ve got a beef keep it private. I’d rather not see Taylor on the team anymore myself. Loved him up until all this. These players demand too much…they contribute to the astronomical cost that sometimes prices us average fans right out of the game. The cost to attend an NFL game compared to the average median household salary is so far beyond different spectrums compared to 15-20 years ago. I’ve had NFL Sunday ticket for many years under the “student” pricing DirecTV offered but this is the first year in like 10 years I won’t have it because I refuse to pay YouTUBE’s ridiculous price. This year I just opted for the $79.99 yearly NFL + premium and will watch the games after it’s over. That sucks for me because I won’t be able to chat and post on the boards in here 90% of the time while the game is on…but that’s good for 90% of the folks on this board who don’t want me around anyway and it’s all because of TAYLOR! No not really, but you know what I’m sayin.
  6. I say play the kid. Play him half the game. AR that is. Since shortening the preseason (a move I was originally not for..but now I like it) I think it’s good to give him more rep time in a game than spread like over 4 games. I’d have given him half a game all 3 games if it were my call.
  7. Everyone knows the only way to make Fries 🍟 better is with sauce 🥫. I can’t believe our offensive line coach hasn’t figured this out already.
  8. So then by this logic you are saying richardson did not suck nearly bad enough to be the next Peyton Manning right ??
  9. Richardson threw a dime to Pierce in the end zone and Pierce dropped it. I think Richardson has more potential than any quarterback we’ve had on our roster in the past 5+ish years not named Andrew Luck
  10. Well, I imagine that he is thinking it will turn out like Lamar’s situation did in Baltimore. The biggest problem is that JT feels he has the pull and power to pull off something in the weakest paid offensive position and least important at that. You can easily replace JT, you cannot easily replace Lamar Jackson. Jackson had proven himself and has the upper hand because he owns the most important position in football.
  11. You can have loyalty to both, this isn’t a one way or the other. He signed a contract and not only did he sign it knowing exactly what it was to be he then went out of his way to reiterate that he was “honorable” and would play out his contract only to then completely do a 180 and is now a dishonorable person. What he is doing is going to truly negatively impact his team and his family. For him to see this go down any other way especially with the likes of leveon bell having done exactly this to give him a blueprint of the likely outcome. Furthermore; if he took advice from some of the other higher paid RB’s that tell the position as a whole that you have to diversify your game and be more than just a RB…you’ve got to be valuable in multiple positions if you want that bigger paycheck. Crying and being dishonorable is (at least in my opinion) the worst way to go about it.
  12. I’d trade JT in a heartbeat if we could get some darn decent return. Meaning a 1st at least; or a 2nd and a 4th, something along those lines. I get really disturbed by players who don’t honor their own contract.
  13. I wish we could just put these whiny babies who cry about their contract onto a whiny player reserve list so we can open up a spot for someone wanted to honor their contract.
  14. Definitely bad timing with JT being a ding dong
  15. To be be 10th child. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/former-nfl-quarterback-philip-rivers-wife-expecting-10th-child-we-are-all-fired-up I’m sure all chargers fans would be upset to see that they used Rivers in a Colts uniform as the headline picture. Probably like what some of the Indy fans feel when they see Peyton in a broncos uniform. Rivers was a stud the year he was with us…hated the chargers though especially the year they picked off Peyton 6 times in one game.
  16. I think Ballard may be eyeing a trade down though in the 2nd with that early pick
  17. Would be happy if colts traded up again into the first mid-round to grab another star if the opportunity presents itself and isn’t too expensive
  18. Actually one of the worst contracts in the history of the league that stands out in my mind was when Albert hanynesworth signed with the Redskins in free agency after Tennessee. That dude was a game changer and game wrecker on the titans and once he got that big contract he sucked. EDIT: I decided to look that deal up and ironically it is #1 on bleacher reports worst contracts lol. 7 years $100 million with incentives to take it up to $115 million. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/594440-albert-haynesworth-and-the-25-worst-contracts-in-nfl-history.amp.html
  19. That Watson deal has got to go down and probably will go down as the history of the worst contract in the league.
  20. Paris is in France. Sheesh I sucked in history class but even I know that.
  21. Free agency as a colts fan each and every year since forever…
  22. Whew!! What a game but I’m happy with the outcome. If I’m colts I do whatever it take to trade with the bears and get whatever QB you really want.
  23. I’m cheering for my team, but in a different way!! Lol
