A trade could materialize at almost anytime even if he is on the PUP. The execution of that trade would have to occur at a specific time though. But who knows…it’ll be just a waiting game and I’m glad the colts have taken the route they have. Players demand too much.

Onto the season..who cares about Taylor. At this point he’s a lost cause and we should let it be unless Taylor comes crawling back and they work out an extension at some point.

Just asking the question… why would we sign Hunt now as opposed to a week or more ago when he was here meeting with the brass? What would have been the benefit of waiting to sign him? The sooner they signed him the quicker he can learn the playbook and the quicker he would have been on the field. I just don’t think we will sign him unless we get into some kind of a pickle at this point. I’m just saying if they wanted him I would think common sense means he’d already be on the team.

I firmly believe Ballard is safe for next year…barring say like a 1-16 or 2-15 record. And even then I would say he’s like 90% safe for next year. New coach, new qb, new direction. Ballard will get at least 2 years (this year and next) at the very least.
