I doubt that “this was the plan all along”…that’s ridiculous. Why would you change OC duties at any point in a season as part of the gameplan. If they were 6-0 right now would he have handed off the playcalling then? No..a resounding NO in my opinion. Dumbest thing I’ve heard. Hey guys, I’m going to be the OC to start the year but sometime during the year I’ll give that up and have someone else come in and do that so you can learn a different man’s philosophy mid season of how he wants to call the shots…

Wins aren’t easy in the NFL, it takes a substantial amount of success in all phases of the game from front office down to special teams players to put together a winning recipe. Even the greatest coach BB can’t put things together at this time in NE. I think Brady would not have been as successful without BB and vice versa but no question that TB has the edge in that argument. We’ve got two rookies on the field in the most important places…HC and QB. It’ll take time to put it altogether. What worries me is Ballards philosophy of getting the right guys on the field. in other news Reich finally turned over his playcalling duties to his OC (https://www.nfl.com/news/panthers-head-coach-frank-reich-hands-over-play-calling-duties-to-offensive-coor) even he finally figured out the right thing to do. So I’m confident that our coach and team will put together a competitive team by next year. Ballard I believe will be toast after next year if the results are tepid.

The team definitely was all sorts of out of sync all game long. I would be pretty upset as the owner or GM that thy just gave crybaby Taylor a new contract and then decided to pass 50+ times with a backup QB. I understand both RB’s averaged 3 or less YPC but still…

I’m certainly not gaining any confidence in Richardson to this point merely because he can’t stay healthy. It’s a disappointment to see because he does have big potential…but if he can’t stay healthy and on the field he may very well develop bad habits and flush his potential on the field away. I think he needs to take a lesson from Reggie Wayne on “how to get down”. I can’t recall a smarter player on the field who avoided more hits than Wayne. Dang good thing we have a solid backup…without a good backup we very well could be almost winless.

Was shocked to see that we gave JT an extension…like mind blown 🤯shocked. Had been in the mountains out of cell range and learned it during my first watch of the game on replay. Then Moss goes off for a big game after we extend JT. lol!

Richardson always getting hurt…pretty much every game the dude gets some sort of injury. Unfortunate.

Well at least we fought back and got into overtime. Was still a great game because of that. We fought through major first half adversity and came back with a chance to win it…pretty dang cool still.
