  1. it absolutely does if we tie and they/jags win as they would have 10 wins to our 9. if they lose, we make the playoffs with a tie.
  2. It’s simple for the colts if the Steelers lose. Win or tie. but I’d prefer to just win and let the rest play out.
  3. Needs to be a playoff atmosphere. No reason for it not to be.
  4. Back where we need to be. When the lights come on, the stars come out. January football. Let’s go!
  5. im not sure they need more depth at pass rush, they just need a more consistent rusher that is so sought after in this league. We may be able to develop Dayo into that, but i think Paye doesn’t have the same ceiling. They have been really good this year at times, and other times seemingly can’t get pressure. However, better coverage and scheme would help that, which those did no favors during those times of the d-line going lull. I doubt they’ll make moves at defensive back in the form of a big signing that is an immediate starter, but if they do, I would prefer it to be at safety. I think we have some good young corners that are getting better and will continue to. Linebacker is pretty thin. Speed continues to disappoint me, and I cannot imagine I am alone in that thought. He’s fast, but he misses tackles and makes some serious mistakes seemingly every game.
  6. I can’t either. But stranger things happen.
  7. It could be a play-in game, with the rookie of the year highlighted in. I can’t imagine that would be trumped.
  8. A dynamic qb can change a lot and elevate everyone around him to look like pro-bowl players. They need to keep bringing in weapons/developing what they have. I would like to see a new defensive mindset and add some talent at all three levels there. I don’t think they are as far off as you think. Compiling a winning season with a backup this season is a serious boost to a franchise that needed to get some momentum. Regardless of what happens next week, and the weeks after if we would win, it’s going to be an optimistic offseason for the Colts.
  9. the last time we played a primetime play-in game, we won… but we also had #12
  10. Play-in game Sunday. possible division title. Move it to primetime please
  11. huh? two minute warning with zero timeouts is kneel outs if we recover onside kick.
  12. i quit mine, but for traveling and young children reasons. Can’t imagine not going because of refs. I liked playoff priority. They’ll regret it when that time comes.
  13. trading back from #1 in consecutive years and stacking a boat load of picks to fix a bad roster is not a bad strategy. They are winning some football games. Giving him another offseason to build the defense and give some help to the offense/add picks for the future is the right move, rather than blow it all up. We know what caliber of defense he can put on the field.
  14. lol. Wut? Here comes Chloe with the pessimism again. they are moving the ball on offense. We will have a chance or multiple chances to win this game regardless of what happens this drive and regardless of if it stays a one score game. prayers up to the god of laws
  15. We’ve got their defense where we want them. A stop/turnover here and we are sitting pretty.
  16. Out of nowhere, we decide to be aggressive and bring the heat on 3rd and long, on the first drive. Give me a break Gus.
  17. Direct reflection of a faltering society in my opinion. Biggest league in the U.S. with high stakes and competition. Guys are trying to get a leg up (using ped’s, gambling, etc) to make as much money as quickly as possible. Ease of gambling has not helped anything but casinos in this country. Return to violence throughout society, so the domestic violence/beating the hell out of others is another direct reflection of society’s attitude. Covid made people crazy. Anyone that works with a small sample size of the public knows this. People. Are. Crazy.
  18. let’s be honest… it’s getting harder and harder to put a full roster with men that can stay out of trouble. Look around the league.
  19. this is true. It honestly seems like a lifetime ago for me, as last year was a brutally long year for more reasons than just the colts. He played fast and long last year. Was happy for him to find a good fit, although the giants had a really bad year for where I thought they might be.
  20. Opportunity for Cross. Huge opportunity. He made one of the best plays of the season with his Moss-like interception over Pickens head. He blocked a punt for a td against the titans. Keep playing for that spot #20. Dude is 22 years old.
