  1. If McGlynn moves to Center We might have all the pieces already

I agree.  A lot of us think that yet each Sunday, Satele trots out there and gets on the ball.  I can't figure it out.

If I had a car that constantly stalled out and didn't get me where I was supposed to, why would I keep trying to drive that car when there's another one that works perfectly fine in the garage?

  2. Yeah, I'd rather have the pats win if they play the chargers, just because I live in SD and hate listening to all my friends say that the chargers are the best team ever.

Charger fans disappear into the woodwork when the team has a bad season.  When the team moves to OC or LA, there will be no more fans left in San Diego so you won't have to worry.

  3. After we lost Reggie, I really didn't think we'd adjust and still be able to make the playoffs, but we did.  I'm happy they're in the playoffs with the injuries we've had and the offensive line and inconsistent defense.  I really want them to win.  If they do not, I'm still a Colts fan.

    I want a respectable showing.

What would really frustrate me is a loss in the playoffs and then going back to the same lineup next season on the O-line and the same defensive issues.

  4. Any team can beat any team.

If you're talking about the media's fascination with various teams, I'd agree with you.

I have Sirius radio and on the NFL network, I'll listen to different shows and when a caller calls in and says, "I'd like to talk about the Cowboys and..." I immediately turn the station.  They usually talk about popular teams....Cowboys, Steelers, now the Broncos etc.  Sometimes they'll mention the Patriots.  But look at it this way, a lot of your teams are commonly in the playoffs.  Usually the Colts, Patriots, Broncos, and sometimes Steelers.  Your Wild Cards usually don't change all that much either.  When was the last time you heard, "Man, how about those Bills!"

Different talking heads like (and dislike) different teams and players.  Boomer Esiason doesn't seem to like Peyton Manning.  Rodney Harrison's eyes light up when they mention the Pats, as Tony's light up when they talk about Peyton Manning.

The game will be played on the field.

  5. Only an * would actually place a bet on this game as it could go either way.

It all depends on which Colts team shows up.  If the one that played against the Cardinals (and even the punk Chargers) and Rams shows up, the score will be 45-6 Patriots.

If the Colts team that played the Broncos, Niners, and Seahawks (and the second half of last week's game) shows up, the score will be

    Colts 38

    Patriots 30

  6. The amount of Chief fans at the game yesterday was a bit surprising. We actually had 4 sitting right in front/beside us. The fans directly around us was very tolerable. But some started "rubbing it in" at half time. I was just wondering how everyone's else interaction with the Chiefs fans went.

It was really fun to watch the fans around us to be extremely excited when they were pulling away and then slowly see that excitement turn into silence and fear.

While most weren't too bad, we had some real jerks around us....

Of course, we didn't hear from them after the third quarter.

  7. I think you could find KC fans in almost any section taking crap.  There were so many KC fans at the game.  There was a group near me in 338 and they were so annoying!  They were loud and making the most annoying sounds when we were on offense.  I hear so many Indian chants that I thought I was at a Braves game.  They even got into with a drunk Colts fan.  I have to commend them for showing up to the game.  Their fans travel well.  There would not have been near as many Colts fans in KC if the game were played there.

lol.  I told my wife that about the Braves game!  Now they're all snowed in at Indy area hotels.

  8. THIS GAME WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!! GLAD I WAS HERE TO WITNESS IT, 12TH MAN REPRESENTED BIG TIME!!!!!!!!TO ALL OF YOU THAT GAVE UP ON OUR COLTS PRIOR TO HALF TIME........SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!☝️

sorry for all caps, my voice is destroyed, only way I can yell now!!!!!!

I was there, too.  Section 618.  We had a lot of Chiefs fans over there yelling "Goat Cheese!" the entire game (maybe they meant "Go Chiefs)."   They were loud the entire first half and the first few minutes after the half.  The guy behind me said not one word and sat down after the Colts scored the second comeback TD.  It got really quiet from the boys in red.  One even took off his jersey.

I couldn't believe what I was witnessing.  Glad my son saw it.  NEVER GIVE UP!!

  9. I bought tickets in 403, but decided to give them to a good customer/friend who has never been to a Colts game. Nothing can top the AFC Championship game against the Pats for me......figure I can miss one.

I watched that one from my home in Atlanta at that time.  My wife and I were jumping up and down and she was tearing up in disbelief.  My little boy slept through our noise.

"And the Colts are going to the Super Bowl!!!!!"    was the quote from the announcer as Marlin Jackson intercepted and just fell down on his back on the turf.    Man, that was a great game and I would have loved to have been there.

  10. Nope. Maybe a better OLB, but Freeney was always the better DE.

That's what I was going to type until I read yours.  I completely agree.  Mathis/Freeney was a good tandem at DE, with Freeney taking the lead but he wasn't cut out for OLB.  It seems like Mathis was; he's more natural at that position.

  11. Yeah, Chuck is such a naive putz.

I like Chuck, I really do, but I think he's very sentimental in terms of players.  I don't understand the fascination with Satele.  He's had a couple of decent games but the majority of the time, he's  cutting crucial seconds off Luck's protection.

  12. Darn.  I like it when they pick against us.

so....I predict a Chief blowout.  63-0.  The Chiefs will then go on to win next week's game and will beat Denver by 77 points.  The AFC Championship game will be the Chiefs vs. Patriots, where they will go to Foxboro and win by 144 points.  Tom Brady will throw 12 interceptions in that game.  KC will win the Super Bowl in three feet of snow.  They will destroy the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 288-7.  The 7 was scored during the last ten seconds of the game when Andy Reid pulled his players off the field and decided to play defense himself because he's always wanted to. He would have tackled Russell Wilson, who ran for the touchdown, but he fell in the snow and in his bliss of winning a SB, he chose to do snow angels instead.  Alex Smith raises a snow-covered Lombardi in the air; immediately, teams start calling KC and state that they are willing to trade their all of their draft picks for the next 25 years for Alex Smith.
