I remember when I was stationed at Ft Campbell every time it snowed the radio played a parody of R.E.M.'s song "It's the End of the World as we know it". It was it's the end of the world because it's snowing.
Rock on. I was born in Hoptown.

Ah....Nashville's cold weather.
I went to two years of high school there and we got out of school once because they thought it was going to snow. I was laughing on the bus ride home in the middle of the day.

He's probably making fun of us on here and similar boards.
Everytime someone gets released, the boards scramble on saying we need to get him....It's fine, I mean, that's what boards are for-voicing our opinions. However, I like our owner and his weird sense of humor.

I know we saw him just in preseason but I liked him. He was energetic and went after the ball. Would make a great presence on ST and possibly as an LB. Better than some of what we have now.

The Jaguars' new helmets.

Satele seems to be the common thread at center. When Shipley was in, the O-line was better. When McGlynn (can't believe I'm typing this) was in, the O-line was better.

What I'm hoping for with Landry, and all free agents for that matter, is that they find their niche here. That they like this team and are better in their positions more than their previous teams.
-
Keenum was lights out last night. Frustrating for a Colts fan to see AJ up the middle on many plays. They were right about the Texans' D. It's stellar....granted, our O-line play was awful but Houston's D is still great.

30 was all over the field last night.

I almost went to bed during the third quarter. Glad I stayed up.

Teams don't give up 1st-round picks for the type of back you describe.
False. TR faced 8 men in-the-box 17.98% of the time in 2012, ranking him 25th in the league in this category.
We did and the trade is a done deal.

The Colts didn't get Richardson for the long yardage plays. Brown's better for that as he's faster. Once he gets past the linebackers, he's gone. Richardson is a short yardage back than can pull the pile. He's good for your 3rd and 2.

Well....you certainly added to the conversation. Thanks for dropping by.
Anytime, my good man.

Polian would have said, "next man up." I think Grigson will go for Hakeem Nicks of NYG for a third round pick....of course, we'd probably end up sitting the draft out next year if this keeps up.
We can't just stop playing. Someone will either have to step up or they'll have to get someone from another team.

I was going to post something argumentative but I really don't care that much about the issue.

and Apollo Creed will knock out Jim Irsay
And then Luck will go train in Siberia during the offseason to beat the Broncos next year. He'll grow the beard by the way.
-
Peyton will be descending from the roof on a platform with backup dancers. He will be dressed in red, white, and blue with a top hat of the same colors.
James Brown (actually, an impersonator) will be singing "Living in America" while Peyton dances and points at all the Colts and shouts "I want you!"
-
Hard to root against Peyton but it's very easy to root against the Broncos. Go Colts!
-
Already has thanks to Irsay...If we win this game someone needs to lock him in a room without his phone so he doesn't gloat and alienate Peyton more..I want him to come back here as a coach 1 day...
I agree with everything you posted on this. The two have been friends for years and the media loves this type of thing anyway-so they feed it.
Peyton probably knew what Irsay meant without Irsay having to explain it. I think Peyton will return to the Colts in an administrative capacity. Denver is his temporary home.

LOS is loud, no where near Dome loud. That place could make your ears bleed. The dome was a constant never ending :rawr:
I loved that about it. When the roof and big window are open at LOS, I hear a murmur but not like it is when both are closed, which will probably be the case tomorrow night.

Why are people voting for the Broncos?
They are
a) Bronco fans
b) former Colts fans and now Broncos fans because Peyton plays there now
c) Peyton Manning fans who believe that he should still be the Colts QB
I think I got them all. I like Peyton Manning; he was truly great here, but he's 37 years old. So Irsay could either keep him for 3 or 4 (tops) and get whoever comes out then or sign Luck and keep him for more than a decade. It was a business decision, a hard one, and Peyton understands that. It would have been easier on all Colts fans had he retired last year, but he wanted to play more, which is his decision. I just hope he doesn't turn into Brett Favre.

Toler got picked on all night.
He has an attitude problem. He thinks that he is better than he is. Sometimes, he gets dumb penalties for taunting and blatant PI. If he were good, many would overlook that.
I've seen him make a few plays but I think it's a head problem and not as much of an ability one. JMO

I think the problem is that it's tough to lose to San Diego this year. That was an extremely winnable game and they played like the Keystone Cops.

lol. My wife is from Colorado. When I'll walk outside in cold weather, she'll ask from upstairs, "How bad is it?" I'll respond with, "like Denver in May."
Oh, yeah....and Go Colts.
