We salute you?
For those about the Rex, we refute you.

I like the idea of trying out Holmes. Good game to do it.
If Reitz is in, he and Thornton can play guards. If not, Thornton and Nixon perhaps at guard on Sunday.
-
I'd like to see how Choice does Sunday. Had some good runs with extremely limited playing time.
I like Brown and would hate to see him go. If the O-line can get better, Richardson may get his yards with Ballard and the two are the one-two punch we've wanted.
-
Looks like some O-linemen are coming back. Will be beneficial in the playoffs, though I'm not writing off Jacksonville. Could have "trap game" written all over it.
-
We saw a few flashes from Choice at the end of the game but only time will tell. I hope Brown is back next week.
-
I'd trade those sweet GIFs for a big, fat W.
And BJGE was short. Zero doubt in my mind.
Everyone who knows anything about football agrees with you.
Triplett doesn't, so I guess that tells you about him.

If Jacksonville moved to LA (hypothetically) and you didn't care about preserving rivalries (hypothetically) you'd probably end up with this, based on geography:
East:
Patriots
Jets
Bills
Ravens
North:
Steelers
Colts
Browns
Bengals
South:
Titans
Chiefs
Dolphins
Texans
West:
Broncos
L.A. Smog (or equivalent)
Raiders
Chargers
Funny how no matter how you try to set it up the AFC South is always going to end up looking like the division of little lost lambs. Just an inevitable effect of trying to organize a sports league, there's always going to be one division that looks like the people in charge just said "screw it, put the rest of them in here." The AFC South is like the Professor and Mary Ann in the first season of Gilligan's Island.
Makes sense if the the Jags move to LA. If the Rams do, then St. Louis could be in the NFC West anyway so their division wouldn't change if a move happened.
-
Perchance have you heard of a city by the name of Baltimore?
lol. Tell us more about this magical place called Baltimore!
-
Anyone think the divisions should be realigned?
Also how would you guy realign them if you were in charge?
Thanks for the post! I love doing these. I mentioned a realignment to someone and he said, "You'd be breaking up long time rivalries!" My response was, "So what? Get new ones."
Here we go:
AFC SOUTH:
Tennessee
Houston
Jacksonville
Miami
AFC WEST
Denver
San Diego
Kansas City
Oakland
AFC EAST
New England
Baltimore
NYJ
Buffalo
AFC NORTH
Indy
Cincy
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
NFC NORTH:
GB
Minnesota
Detroit
Chicago
NFC SOUTH:
Atlanta
TB
Dallas
New Orleans
NFC WEST
SF
Arizona
St. Louis
Seattle
NFC EAST
NYG
Philly
Skins
Carolina

I like flying under the radar.

I think that is the best lineup we could put out there but for that to happen Satele will have to be benched. It hasn't happened so far but maybe this week is the week.
Satele has been given a free pass. Hopefully, you're right about this week being the week.
-
Too early. Offensive line adjustments, time to study the playbook, and training camp will all help with the Richardson scenario. Brown has had several years.
Of course, I just repeated everything most of the previous posters stated.
Another problem is the offense. Trent takes several steps backward (according to the play) and I can even tell. "Handoff up the middle."
They switch out Brown and Richardson-they're going for longer yardage.
Put the two on the field at the same time as it makes the offense less predictable. Brown has good hands and can be a receiver.
-
I had really hoped that the dropped pass thing with DHB was a Raiders issue and that he'd come to life here in Indy. I suppose I was wrong.
I like Brazill and I think with more reps, he'll improve.
For Rogers, give him some time. He'll be a solid WR.
-
I like Castonzo, Reitz, McGlynn, Thornton, Cherilus as the lineup but I'm no coach. I think this is what they went with against SF, although Link may have been in at LG during that game.
-
Living just outside of Baltimore and having a Ravens fan as a husband, I've got to say I'm sick of playing the Ravens in the playoffs.
Just remind him of how the Indianapolis Colts beat the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs in 07.
-
I like the classic look and I even like the throwbacks every once in a while (dark blue helmet with the horseshoes on the back.
I used to think we needed an update but I look at teams like the Broncos or Jaguars and their updates make them look like Arena League teams. I'd be afraid of what the new unis would look like.
-
It's wierd that our o line has looked best when McGlynn plays at centre and Link plays RG.
Donald Thomas is sorely missed that's for sure.
Very true. What I can't figure out (no one can) is why they keep starting Satele and putting McGlynn back at guard when several difficult games have shown us that it doesn't work.
-
If I remember correctly, Saturday didn't start at Center, he was a guard first. Maybe Holmes could practice at that position while we move McGlynn to Center. On second thought, that would leave us with two rookie guards.
-
He seems more sentimental than I expected. I like Pagano but I'd like to see some changes made. Not sure where but doing the same thing every week and either losing or coming back from a huge deficit is frustrating.
-
Your contribution is to tell others, who are enjoying themselves, to "give it a rest"?
Are you available for children's parties?
Ok, that was pretty funny.
-
It's not about how good or bad he is. Its about the fact that last year, he was clearly better than anyone else we had at center, yet he was sent packing. That is frustrating as a fan, to see your team continue to make poor decisions on personnel for reasons not pertaining to play on the field. So what that you made a poor signing in Satele? Man up and play your best option. Don't keep starting bad players just so they can continue to have the opportunity to maybe vindicate you and your decisions one day.
F. Scott Fitzgerald couldn't have worded it any better.

I'd like to see TRich behind a better O-line. In addition, we got him for short yardage anyway. He's not particularly quick but he's bulky and hard to get down once he has some momentum (blocking and space). As for Brown, I like him, too. He explodes when he's got a hole to run through and gets a significant number of yards. Plus, he can catch. The two could complement each other very well in a tandem. Put them on the field at the same time with some sets not involving Havili. It takes away a little of the predictability, which is bad that I can see what they're going to do and I'm no expert on football. Could be run or pass.
-
I started to believe that it was a personnel issue and in some cases, that's true.
I now think, however, that it's coaching and schemes on both sides of the ball, blocking on O-line, coverage on D...
-
What happened to Josh Chapman?
Toler being back would be nice, too.
Plus...I'd love to sneak Wade Phillips away from the Texans to be our DC but that isn't realistic.
Ughh.. Looking like SD

Regardless who the team is that we play, we have to beat them to continue. You don't roll over and die b/c you play a team that you have a bad history with. You find a way to win.
