His charges (taken from a public site):

Isn't Lane Kiffin the OC at Bama? I think he's doing a fine job with Sims. Coker should ride the bench cause he's awful.
I was referring to his head coaching...First, he left Tennessee to go to USC. Then, he was fired from them.
He is doing ok at OC with Saban.
-
Being a Bears fan and cheering on Jay Cutler in December.
Having Lane Kiffin hired as the new coach of the college team you root for.
-
Holmes didn't dress.
I know. I was speaking hypothetically ;)
-
We should have never traded Shipley. We should have benched Satele or at least checked him out at guard.
The fourth quarter of the game today would have been the perfect time to try out Holmes.

I love Moncrief, and he very well could be better than T.Y., and he looked great against Jacksonville, but he needs to prove that before I rate him anywhere near Hilton. Hilton is a great receiver, but Moncrief has all the intangibles, size, speed etc. that you need.
As for the x-factor, I am going the Erik Walden/Bjoern Werner/Jonathan Newsome OLB trio we have right now, if they can get pressure, we can compete with any team in the league.
I completely agree. I almost liked the way that Werner set the edge while Walden rushed. I saw Newsome do a little in the preseason but other than that, I don't know much about him. I wonder what Chris Carter from Pittsburgh could do. He backed up Jarvis Jones. I also heard we picked up Trevardo Williams from Houston. I'm sure they've been testing them out in practice.
-
I wonder is there any way to work some kind of a low risk deal for Damontre Moore from the Giants? He's more of a 3-4 OLB who they've been trying to play as a 4-3 defensive end. To me it hasn't worked out all that well. It may just be a matter of scheme fit. Just another idea I'm throwing out as i'm thinking
I think that's what they were trying with Jerry Hughes.
Moore could work out well here.

I'm liking our O-line thus far.

Having Colts QB Dan Orlovsky ruin your hopes of beating the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium by throwing a touchdown pass with :19 left in the game, putting the Colts over the top.
(From the perspective of Texans fan).

Nobody's been harder on Andrew Luck than...Andrew Luck. He`s a humble guy and with his determination to get better he only will. Agree, he`s so close to being one of the best QB`s if not the best in the league.
I love his attitude. I would hate having a guy like Johnny Manziel here.

Very bad news.
He was a great kicker. I cringed every time he came up to kick and Titans were down by one or two at the end of the game.
He'll be missed.

I keep asking this but who do you think should be our rush LB. I through out Freeney as a possibility and got negative responses from individuals who apparently feel they know player personnel. So I ask you, who should be our rush LB? Is he on the roster or who can we reach out and get. Looking for some intelligent responses!
Unless we're talking stats, everything posted on here is an opinion.
For Freeney, we tried him at OLB and he was more comfortable as a 4-3 DE whereas Mathis thrives at OLB. I think the same issue may be true with Werner as we've seen with other posts.
I think coaches should look at Studebaker as a possibility, at least in practice. He's great at special teams, although we saw him on the field during preseason at LB, although if memory serves me, on inside LB. He's about ten pounds lighter than Werner and may be faster, not sure. Wouldn't be a long term solution but might be an improvement.
They also got Chris Carter (OLB from Pittsburgh). He was a backup but maybe some playing time might benefit the defense. Hard to tell.
As far as any free agents, I'm not sure. People keep throwing around Michael Sam but he's on a practice squad so I'd doubt his abilities to be any better than what we have now.

We can get Jon Kitna (now Jon Kitna, not 12 years ago Jon Kitna) to throw short passes and hand off to Richardson and Bradshaw.
You don't draft Andrew Luck and then use him the way Pep does. Sure, there's a place for the run, short passes, etc. but relying way too much on the run isn't the way to go here.
You don't use a stallion to pull a vegetable cart.

Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles! The Eagles are a very good football team, and wore our defense out. Sproles has been a nemesis of the Colts ever since he entered the league. Plain and simple, the Eagles were the better team last night. If our Colts can go on a winning streak then maybe we will get a chance to do it again, in the Super Bowl. We have a long way to go though.
I want to apologize for the poor manners of the Colts fan base. As you can probably guess, most of the Colts fans are spoiled rotten, and do not know what it is like to lose. The younger generation of our fan base (26 and under) only know Colts football with Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck. They never had to experience the carousel ride of horrible quarterbacks from the 80's to the mid 90's, or several losing seasons. Hence when we lose 2 games in a row; the knee jerk reactions calling for the entire team to be dismantled.
This behavior is embarrassing. We teach our kids that when we lose at anything, to congratulate the opponent for a good game. Good game Eagles! Nice win! It is not that hard to do. Instead most of the fans on this board need to place blame somewhere, to make sense of it all, and continuously show poor sportsmanship in the process.
I understand there is an emotional attachment that parallels ebbs and flows with wins and losses, and any fan who loves his team is not prone to this. That does not give fans any justification to turn into jerks. People wanted Rogers head to roll after he punted a ball in a preseason game, and yet condone their own actions when they lose control on a message board, because the Colts lost. What is the difference? It is called controlling your emotions, and it is one of the most important pieces of our selves that we pass down to our children.
When I first saw this schedule, I said to myself, we could go 0-2, and still be a top 5 team. This is the reality of the NFL in 2014. There are things our Colts need to improve on, and they either will or they won't. As a fan base, we need to learn what class is, no matter how many wins we have. We have all witnessed what class is; taught by several class acts in the Colts organization. For some reason it is not trickling down to the fan base though.
I appreciate your post yet with all due respect, it isn't your place to apologize for Colts fans as each person is responsible for himself. Certainly, Philadelphia played a great game and Indy didn't as it is with any team on any day. Colts fans do not owe any congratulations to any team's fans that win nor any trash talking to any team's fans that didn't. That is between the players as the fans do not play the game.

I like Toler but he's too inconsistent. Plus, he draws too many costly penalties or at least seems to.
-
I think he'll stay in Minnesota. If he goes anywhere, I believe that it would be Dallas.
-
I look at it this way, the Colts held their own with the Broncos (in the second half) without Mathis. Yes, Mathis is a great linebacker and will be greatly missed, but in no way is the season over.
-
It's what a lot of teams are doing now. Gone are the days of the featured back such as Edge.
-
You cant describe a 6 point win as beating them "handily". As of today, Broncos have the last laugh against the Colts.
The Broncos shouldn't be laughing at anything except for Indy in the first half and themselves in the second. According to the media, Denver shouldn't have even had to take the field to win the game. Why didn't that happen?
-
6 Carries for 20 yards.
Was that his best game as a Colt?
If it was... Then that's not saying much.
No secret that he had a bad year last year. He broke for some good runs on Sunday night and I think his numbers will improve.
-
A lot of good takeaways from this game.
Richardson had the best game as a Colt.
Bradshaw did well.
In the second half, the team gelled together. Yes, mistakes were made but the Colts were coming back.
No one expected that second half.
-
We are completely screwed now.
Well, Indy held its own without Mathis against the crowned best team in the AFC last night. Either there's a FA or its next man up.
-
Denver Possessions in the second half:
- 5 plays then punt
- 6 plays then punt
- 6 plays then punt
- 7 plays - Touchdown
- 3 plays then punt
- 3 plays then punt
- 3 kneels
In the second half, the Colts defense gave us opportunities to win this game, and it has been a VERY LONG TIME since I could honestly say that.
In last years meeting, I felt that if Denver had another 5 minutes then they would have won.
This year I feel that if Indy would have had another 5 minutes then we would have won.
I know it is difficult to see right now, especially through the pain, but this defense is going to be very, very good this year.
I like this post. I liked your reference to a returning Mathis Even getting Holmes back will help. D did very well and I think the Offense will improve also.
-
I'm not sure Manning won the game for them last night. Their defense and our poor play in the first half did. Had Reggie caught that pass (or PI were called), it might have gone into overtime. Plays like running on 2 and 15....that sort of thing, was the problem. That, and very little tackling took place until the second half.

Clemons is a possibility as a FA signing but I wouldn't trade a pick away for a player.
