  1. Dallas Flowers looks like the real deal. Mallory reminds me of Doyle. Maybe Carter O'Donnell > Fries? Pierce should have been drug tested after the game. AR's legs make 3rd and 10 feel like 3rd and 5. He fly! We desperately need next years #1 pick. Please please please free Granson. Let him go.
  2. You word this oddly. "am I taking a second". Not sure you are rationalizing this well. You think there is No Way we consumate a deal for only a second. Guess we will see if so or when the equivocation begins. lol I'll Guess he won't sign for less than 4yr 48m. With 22m FGuaranteed.
  3. By 2025 mid-season we should have a fairly fine tuned 8-10 playmakers ready to take on the world. It will be a tough road with no guarantees of course. The new regime will have their program going pretty well by mid 2024, maybe we're a .500 team after then with a few fun upsets.
  4. Of course not. Taylor wanted a big guaranteed laced contract from us, and has used maximum pressure including fan and peer, to get it. All without taking his physical, that he was asked to come in for. The rubber Now hits the road whether he can pass another team's physical. Perhaps you are new to this. Trades do fall through because of failed physicals.
  5. Did some digging. NFL players who are on IR (injured reserve) will get paid, but how much money they ultimately receive is highly dependent on the details of their individual contracts. Players with fully guaranteed contracts will receive the full compensation they were promised in their contract. In the NFL, only powerful players with lots of leverage generally receive fully guaranteed contracts. For players without fully guaranteed contracts, they will still receive some money while on IR, but it’s generally only a fraction of their regular salary. After all, they weren’t available to perform their duty as a player. That’s also assuming the player suffered an injury while performing football activities, like playing or practicing. If a player seriously hurts themselves doing something else, like snowboarding in the offseason, then there’s no guarantee from the team that the contract will be honored at all. Young players with split contracts may also earn money while on IR, but their compensation levels are often tied to whether or not they are on the active 53-man roster.
  6. Well, a 3rd should be high enough to draft his replacement. 👋
  7. Irsay will stand strong foremost with the other NFL owners regarding holdouts. He has put Taylor in check... the next word will come from his agent screaming foul. What wild posts, keep passing the Crack pipe.
  8. Well now, the Only way should have been for AR to take every snap of all the pre-season practices and games if we were really wanting to beat Jax. Don’t care how he feels, what he knows, or how many hours he puts in. He should be out there, or is it in there? "by not playing Richardson, Steichen must think he is ready" This is absurd.
  9. Oops, GoColts8818 has it well covered. So I hope JT is 100% healthy and an NFC hungry wannabe really wants him. So this year's 4.3 salary plus two tags totalling roughly 25m = 3 years just under $10 per. He will agree to something like that #, but praying for as much Fully Guaranteed as he can get before he runs a play.
  10. Based on WR>RB Taylor + 3RD makes more sense. IMO, Miami would quickly say no thanks.
  11. Positive comments (cheer leading) is a healthy way to go through life. Balanced commentary based having some reasonable thinking about pros and cons also reflects better mental health. Nattering nabobs of negativity more often comes from a below level comprehension of FB reality, often combined with probably some other personality disorder/s. People in general deal with some differences/odd takes, some keep it in between the lines better. I am Older, and have my own struggles. A heavy use with Ignore keeps me away from suffering so much with.... Them Kind. Lots of struggles and ugly coming from all levels, as we need a couple seasons of experience with all these young Uns, and a couple really good drafts and FA periods to hopefully one day again being a top 8 upper echelon. Hoping to live to see it.
  12. Fortunately there is clear history that keeping and paying JT would be detrimental to building a team that competes for going to a SB. Numerous other positions are more valuable for this mission. Tough ruck JT.
  13. Irsay is just taking the heat to keep it off Ballard and Steichen. Taylor isn't needed in our new offense, and especially over the next couple of seasons. We invited him for his physical and he couldn't Man Up for his Team. He now needs to go.
  14. Kelly, Kenny, and Mo were supposedly available pre-draft so there could be a market at the trade deadline from contenders with injury issues. Maybe even Pittman, you just never know.
  15. You are NOT really much of a Colts Fan. Kind of in that bottom 10% that will never be happy. Best to be Ignored.
  16. I have yet to observe his intellectual, or physical commitment to being a good blocker. I want the moon, but a 3rd and a 5th would sate me.
  17. But we have plenty of cap to pay him. You do understand that right? Crazy is Paying the guy even $12m. We don't Need him. Steichen has assured them we will be fine as long as we have an excellent o-line. That will take at least one more off season.
  18. What! So drafting a Tackle, and signing a Alabama G with a good resume is doing nothing at all! Whether you like it or not, Pinter and French have earned Ballard's respect. They have been developing O'Donnell for a few years. No I'm not impressed by them, but it's a long season and you just never know who might step up.
  19. Like someone that will get knocked backwards in a flash by quality bull rushers. But I really like his other toolbox, for a no name that is playing really hard for a roster spot. Right now Pinter and French play center and guard, cough cough, so they will be on the 53. Not great huh! Hambright on the PS ready for next man up seems probable. Ballard and staff will be competitive for upgrade opportunities at cut time.
  20. I'm optimistic about Freeland but he hasn't played against other teams ones in real games to compare him to Raimann. The nice thing I do see is his athleticism. He won't ever have the "guard" power of Smith, but he will end up better in pass Pro, which isn't that high of a standard. Hambright is pretty relentless, shows some of the scientific skills required, but is definitely too light in the britches. Where is our big rookie?
  21. Anyone think we will see either guy on the field often this year?
  22. It's great that he will have a alert, highly mobile QB. Certainly hope Raimann plays every snap this season. I thought he had a lot of good snaps in game one at RT. Were he and Fries locked in mentally, uh no. I'm solidly hopeful for Freeland long term. I mean I watched Diem 4-5 seasons till he got pretty good. All those false starts!
