How did Brady get involved in a thread about Miami and Denver? LOL. Anyway, have to give Miami some credit. I watched the game, and they did their best to win, just came up short.. They did blow a lead, but that tends to happen when Manning plays. Miami is not a team to be taken lightly. They gave Denver a scare., and I like the fact that they didn't give up. it was a good game.

Washington and San Francisco could be a "trap game." Everyone says that Washington is dead, but when you least expect it, they could pull off a win. SF needs this, and Washington could play spoiler. This game could end up being very close, and I think that Washington has a couple wins left in them.

Costanzo's dance was better than Gronkowski's.
-
The Colts just gave it to Brady.
-
WTG Nicks! The Colts needed this one!
-
Now they need to take advantage and score!
-
Where did they find Jonas Gray? I never heard of him before tonight.

Suppose Atlanta went on to win the Superbowl with a losing record.

I just finished watching the game. Kansas City isn't given enough credit probably because of the divison they're in. Charles rushing for at least 150 yards, and their defense had some nice plays. Denver has problems, so Kansas City could take over the divison. Andy Reid has done a fine job as coach.

I'll maybe drink after the game, to either drown my sorrows or celebrate a win. Hopefully, the second reason.

There is too much football left to predict a champion, but I would like to see Arizona make it .I'll know more after they play the two games with Seattle. It's going to be a challenge with Carson Palmer out, but I think that Arizona has the talent to still go far. I like what Arians has done. with the team.
I agree with not counting out the Lions, but how far can they go in the playoffs? I'm thinking that once they get to the playoffs they will be one and done.
Green Bay and Philadelphia are playing well. That should be a good game.
New Orleans is leading their division so far.
I wouldn't bet anything yet on who will win the NFC. Too many things can happen.

Beckham is a stud. Despite the Giants' many issues, he remains a break out star. If he can stay healthy, the sky is the limit for him.
-
Jonathan Newsome. Vontae Davis played well, but that is expected of him, so game ball goes to Newsome.
I would give a special notice to T Y Hilton just for the outstanding catch in the endzone.
Vinatieri is just being his usual self. People will notice more when he DOSEN'T make a field goal.

No turnovers and develop a pass rush. The two games New England lost were to Miami and Kansas City, both on the road. Oakland lost, but they only allowed NE to score 16 points. If other teams can do that, so can the Colts. The Jets lost by only two points. NE doesn't always win by such large margins. If the Jets and Oakland can keep it close....
Let's get past the Giants first, though. They are the first concern, and that team will be wanting a win.

I picked New England to win, mostly going on homefield advantage. I didn't expect it to be so one-sided. Thinking that the Colts face New England after getting a bye week. I'm glad that the game will be played in Indy. The Colts better prepare well.
-
The game isn't over, but Denver is going to have to get something going. Manning is off with his throws, and the team has no answer as to how to stop the Patriots.
-
It's snowing in New England right now, and there might be wind gusts up to 40 mph. It seems like the weather will have an effect on the game. I don't know how the field will look this afternoon; most likely they will be prepared by game time. I plan on watching, will be a good match up.

I can imagine the media's reaction if Oakland should win this game. I would like to see them do it. I'm not a fan of either team, but I would enjoy seeing the fallout of Seattle losing to Oakland at home. It would be quite entertaining, especially since this would be the Raiders' first win.
-
I'm probably hoping for too much, but I would like to see Hakeem Nicks finally have a break out game against the Giants. He hasn't done well so far (understatement) , but it would be something special to see him make some major plays against his former team. Not holding my breath, though.
Bradshaw has been doing well, and I hope he continues this Monday.

I think the Colts will rebound and win. The Giants are difficult to predict; one never knows which side will show up. They had a bye week, so had plenty of time to prepare. But, after last week, the Colts will be a bit angry and won't let the Giants push them around. It most likley will be close game.
I don't think any team could have beaten Pittsburgh the way Big Ben was playing. It just happened that the Colts were the opponent that week.
-
Aliesn took over the teams. Or maybe Pittsburgh's uniforms have distracted the Colts so much that they can't play? Who knows? So far, it's not the same team I've seen the past few weeks.
Any news on Vontae Davis?

I checked one of the Steelers' message boards. Many of the fans are worried about the Colts. They don't think the Steelers can get pressure on Luck; one poster wrote that if Pittsburgh falls behind by two scores, the game is over. I haven't noticed any "trash talk"; the Steeler fans seem to respect the Colts.
I think that Pittsburgh willl play a tough game against Indy. The Colts should win, but it might not be easy.

Peyton Manning sometimes annoys me. He makes me look bad when I pick the other team to win, and then beats them with no problem. Manning doesn't help my score in my weekly picks. Maybe I just need to choose Denver every week. I really should know bettter.

The Bears might have more of a chance since they're on the road. So far, they lost all their home games. New England hasn't always played great football, even with their victories. I don't now what is wrong with Chicago; much of the blame seems to be on Jay Cutler. One of my co-workers is a Bears fan, and he can't figure it out.
Ray Rice has won his appeal
in NFL General
Posted
I'll be surprised if Ray Rice ever plays in the NFL again. I don't know of any team that would want him after all of the controversy. Should he be given a second chance? That's not for me to say. He needs to straighten out his personal life first.
