I just started playing fantasy football, and had Bell in my line up this week. I almost didn't pick him because of the Ravens' defense, but decided to keep him anyway. After last night, I'm glad I went with him.
No, you're not stupid; mistakes happen. Who knows how I'll do after Sunday with the rest of my picks.

Green Bay is my second favorite team, so I'm happy for them. I always liked Rodgers; imagine if he had Jordy Nelson.

Talk about the Patriots: what about Arizona and Buffalo? All three teams blew out their opponants today. Like the Geico commercial: "you're a pro football team; it's what you do." Things like this happen, it's worse if it's against your team, though. But that's to be expected at times in the NFL.

if we lose they should just shut this forum off.
If the Colts lose, more likely the forum will explode on its own!

What's worse than 0-2? Losing your quarterback for several months or possible the season because of injury.
-
One positive thing: I didn't see the game because I don't get ESPN. Now I'm glad I couldn't see how badly they played.

My football picks this week were all messed up. The firs ttime I got more wrong than correct. This might be one strange season.

Several people at work are Colts fans and they are are talking about how Pagano's job is on the line. Even the fans of other teams are asking me about Pagano geting fired. I just can't get away from this.
I tell them it's all speculation at this poiint, that nothing has happened yet. The media is all hung up on this issue. Wait and see what happens Monday night and afterwards. Then if Pagano is fired, talk about it when/if it actually happens.

Have to admit: I thought the Colts flask Meme was funny. It's how I feel during certain games. I might even end up getting one for myself.

What's worse than 0-1?
Being double billed and then put on hold while you're trying to fix the situation.
On a lighter note, hearing about the Kardashians.

After the game.....
Media question: Is a defensive win still a win?
Peyton Manning: "It's a team win. That's what I think."
"It's Week 1. We're a work in progress. If you need a catchy headline for your article or whatever it is you might be doing: 'We're trying to get better every single week.'
"What's another cliche I can think of? 'We're chipping away.' Something along those lines."
What kind of question is that? Any win counts whether it's defense or offense. Sometimes I wonder what the media is thinking. with these crazy questions. Maybe they can't come up with anything better.

I work two weekends a month, and this weekend is one of them. I get off work at 2:00 .p.m. and normally take my lunch break at 1:00, so I won't miss much of the game. I can watch the game in the employee lounge duriing my break and can check out the score in between.
Calling in sick isn't an option unless I want to miss work several times a month. In that case, I wouldn't have a job.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm watching the NFL or a sports version of "The Young and Restless."

Would Tomlin have been as upset over this if the Steelers won the game? Maybe not. His main concern should been why Gronk was open and the absence of a few of his top players. The Steelers have many issues to work out yet.

Your thoughts are in the right place, but you're basically asking the impossible. There are critics even when the Colts win. Would be nice if posters paid attention to this thread, but ,in reality, it won't happen. Good try, though.

We don't know much about their quarterback, so how can we work around him? Might have to improvise throughout the game. It will be interesting to see how Taylor does.
I'm not aure about Luck picking apart Buffalo's defense. He might, but Buffalo is under Rex Ryan, and the Colts have had some problems with Ryan's defenses in the past. The Bills are a whole new team this season. The Colts can pull out a win, but it won't be easy.

"The Shady Bunch" is too funny! I never liked that show and to see as a parody with New England is hilarious.
-
This was good. Antonio Brown was the only one who could answer the football question. DeMarco Murray was too funny.
Thanks for posting this.

The Buffalo Bills make the playoffs.
RG111 is released by Washington and is picked up by another team, though no idea who it would be.

I realize my wording was wrong: Reggie Wayne's contract wasn't renewed. It's different than if he was cut from the team. My point was that he is no longer with Indy and had to find work elsewhere.
-
It will take me awhile to get used to this.
I don't blame Reggie, though: Indy cut him; he still wanted to play football; New England needed a WR. I would have preferred him to go to a different team, but nothing can be done now. I just hope that Reggie doesn't do well when the Colts and Patriots meet. Otherwise, I'm glad that he is given another chance.

Mewhort start to do better in his new position.
Better tackling.
No injuries.

I don't know what Chip Kelly has in mind. However, if Tebow is as bad as many of you say he is, how does he mange to win games? Can anyone explain that?
-
So does this mean RG111 is the Wiz? Just kidding.....
Seriously, it could be that he is saying that to make himself feel better. I don't have a problem with RG111; if he wants to believe that he is the best, so be it. His playing proves otherwise, but he can't see beyone his image.

One never would have known that Hasselbeck had little practice or that he had been sick. Great game!
