  1. I get tired of the media praising Seattle all the time, like they're the second coming or something. I also don't care about Pete Carroll; he rubs me the wrong way. Hoping Carolina knocks Seattle  out of the playoffs.

I think the Green Bay-Arizona game will be closer than the last time they met. Can Arizona's defense stop Rodgers again?

This past weekend proved that home field advantage is overrated. In the end, it doesn't mean that much. It matters which team plays better, and has a little luck going their way.

Would like the Cardinals to do just that and end up in the Superbowl.

  2. Arizona and Kansas City in the Superbowl.

I like Arizona a lot and would be happy for Bruce Arians.

Kansas City is an underdog, and is a talented team. They deserve to go that far.

Denver has had chances and missed, so it's time to get a different team in there.

For some reason, I just can't get on the the Bengals' bandwagon. I don't really trust that team in post season.

Vikings are OK, and I like Teddy Bridgewater, but I don't think this is their year. They are improving, though.

You were in a 5 team league and this was the winning lineup?

This was a one-week league $1 league with 5 other players. I started playing fantasy football almost midway through the season, and only played one-week leagues. it was my winning lineup in week 16, where I got first place; the only time I got that high.

  4. I've always liked Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers, but I have a feeling that this isn't their year. The Packers haven't played well the past few weeks, and I'd be surprised if they suddenly come to life.

Washington has been on a roll, and they're committed to Cousins;it's going to take a lot for the Packers to beat them.

Could be wrong, but I don't think McCarthy would be fired. We'll find out eventually.

Did you see the shellacking Seahawks gave them?

No, I didn't see the game, but found out the final score. Arizona had nothing to play for, and every team occasionally has a bad game. Still staying with my opinion.

  6. I would like to see Kansas City and Arizona in the Superbowl.  Somehow, I don't trust Denver to go far in the playoffs, and New England seems to be struggling.  I think that Arizona is the best team in the NFC (yes, even better than Carolina.)

  7. The obvious choice would be to go with Manning in the playoffs, so why isn't Kubiak mentioning it? He isn't committing to anyone yet, even after Manning helps Denver get the #1 seed. I don't understand the hesitation. Maybe he wants to be sure Manning is completely rested.

Just lost on a stat correction. Had deangelo Williams fumble and me go from win by 1 to lose by 1. He had Blair Walsh hit 23 points as the only player left on SNF in our matchup. I played Miami d against Indy instead of Houston vs Tennessee. So angry.

That would be disappointing. One fumble or penalty can change everything. Also, who figured that Walsh would get that many fantasy points? I never expected that.

Defenses are difficult to determine. What looks good on paper doesn't always work out once the game starts. I've often been burnt on defenses in my lineups.

  9. I watched the game, and couldn't believe how badly the Giants played. Or was it how well Minnesota played?

I know that Beckham is a big part of the Giants' offense, but it's like the whole team imploded without him.. (Except for Rashad Jennings; he had a good game.) I got the impression that with OBJ out, the Giants felt that there was no reason to even try, that their mindset wasn't in the game.

There is speculation that Coughlin will be out of a job, but that's been going on for a long time. Somehow, he manages to stay; maybe the front office likes him or maybe it's because of his two Superbowl rings. If it was another team, the coach would probably be gone, so I'm not sure what is going on with the Giants. Not saying that he should be let go (that's not my call), but I find it strange that every year he seems to be on the hot seat and nothing happens.

  10. I entered several leagues, and got 1st place in a 5-player league. Here is my winning lineup:

    QB: Blake Bortles

    RB: David Johnson

    RB: Mike Gillislee

    WR: Antonio Brown

    WR: John Brown

    WR: Jeremy Macklin

    TE: Delanie Walker

    K: Blair Walsh

    Def: Kansas City

The one who out me in 1st is Blair Walsh, who totaled 23 fantasy points! He was a last-minute decision; I originally had Boswell. Don't remember why I changed it, but turned out to be a good decision.

  11. I'm in second place in one of my leagues. The person ahead of me had Tim Hightower in their lineup, who i almost used, but changed  my mind. Hightower got 30 points! I went with Robinson , and wasn't too bad, but not great.

Antonio Brown wasn't quite as effective this week. I thought about putting Roethlisberger also, but went with Blake Bortles instead. I'm glad I did that because Big Ben didn't have a very good game.

I feel bad for anyone who had the Packers defense!
