  1. I'll be watching the Super bowl just because it's football. I find myself slightly favoring New England. I don't like Pete Carroll, and the Seahawk fans on other football forums are getting annoying. Maybe if New England beat them, they would settle down as to how great they are. I post on other sports forums, and I notice that none of the Seattle fans showed up until this past week. Where were they earlier in the season when Seattle started out badly?

I had a hard time getting over Seattle beating Green Bay. I know that Green Bay gave that game away, but you would think that Wilson had a great game, the way the media wrote. So maybe that's the main reason I favor New England. The Colts game was like "here we go again" but the Green Bay loss shouldn't have happened.

  2. I really didn't expect the Colts to beat New England, although I was hoping they could pull off a type of miracle. They worst part was losing by 35 points. I think the team should have  been better prepared. How many times had they faced the Patriots? They should have had a better game plan, and it should have been closer.

No matter, I'm really proud of the Colts for what they have accomplished  in three years.

  3. The Colts need a solid RB; that goes without saying. Herron and Tipton are just beginning and have a ways to go yet. Luck seemed nervous. He rushed passes, and just couldn't get comfortable. Some of them should have been caught, but something was off. The team was frustrated, and it affected their playing. After they were down by 10 points, it was the end, and they had no energy. I think it will be  a few more years before they are Super bowl bound. In the meantime, they came quite close. I don't think anyone expected them to even get that far, thinking instead that it should have been Denver.

  4. Truthfully, I felt worse when Green Bay lost than I did with the Colts. I so wanted the Packers to be in the Super bowl, since they're my second favorite team.

Green Bay had a chance and blew it. Something in the universe isn't right when a team can play so badly like Seattle did at first, and still win.  In the Colts game it was like "here we go again" with a kind of resignation. The Packers, however, had that game within reach so it was a more of a heartbreaking loss. IMO.
