NFC:
I think Seattle will take this. I don't see them losing another game to San Francisco, especially at home. I have no idea what the score will be, it depends on what kind of game Boldin has. But Seattle will find a way to win.
AFC:
I don't know; this is literally a coin toss. Maybe Denver because they play at home, but that won't necesarily stop new England. On this one, I'll go with who I WANT to win, which is Denver.
I have a friend on facebook who is a Patriots fan,(I also met her in person) and we have had a friendly rivalry going. She's been sending me Patriots stuff and picures of Brady. Since the Colts are out, I'll be focusing on the Broncos and sending her photos and updates to her wall. So hoping Denver wins just to annoy her. LOL. BTW, she has admitted that she likes Peyton Manning also.

LOL. Watch the sales of Budweiser skyrocket after this!
-
As mentioned, Peyton better go win it all. That's good, as long as there's no pressure.
-
By the fourth quarter my good feeling had packed up, left and didn't leave a forwarding address. Those interceptions didn't help; a team cannot make mistakes against new England and expect to win.
That being said, the Colts have nothing to be ashamed about. They aren't the only team who had a tough time against the Patriots. Luck is only in his second year, and he has time to work out problems. He will be a force in a few years, and he has accomplished more than anyone could have imagined.. The same can be said for Hilton, Brown, etc.
The pressure is off and I can watch the rest of the playoffs more objectively.

Thanks for letting everyone know you almost lost the game for us.
<<just kidding.>>>

I recently had a dream that Drew Brees came over to my place for Thanksgiivng dinner. I have no idea what this could mean: maybe it's a good omen for New Orleans today.
Now if I only would have dreamt about a Colts' victory........
-
I have a good feeling about this game. The Colts have enough talent to keep up with Tom Brady. The Colts have momentum right now and will be ready to play. I expect a close game, but somehow I have faith that Indy will pull off a win.

Yes. You covered your shift and the supervisor was Ok with it, so everything is fine. I've done the same thing at my workplace in order to watch Colts games. Saturday should be a good game.

Nice list. For the All Pro Team, I would have chosen RB LeSean McCoy of the Philadelphia Eagles, with Charles coming in a close second. McCoy set an Eagles record for yardage and had a phenomenal season. And since Charles is out with an injury, McCoy could replace him on the team. ;) McCoy also won Offensive Player of the Month.
I agree with the NFL awards. Mathis does deserve consideration, so glad to see that he's on your All Pro Team.

I watched the game at home. I did a lot of yelling at the TV in the first half, but didn't turn it off. I didn't expect such a turn around, but wanted to see exactly how the game would end. So glad I kept watching.
-
I have no idea how this game will go, but it can be a mistake to overlook Sam Diego in the playoffs. If next weekend is like Wildcard weekend, the home teams had better watch out.
-
Maybe Kaepernick shows off his tattoos to scare the opposing team. Show them what an athlete he is. LOL. At least he won't be as cold in Carolina.

Great post, Warhorse! You showed dignity and respect.

I will be surprised if New Orleans beats Seattle. However, no one gave the Ravens a chance last year and everyone knows what happened. Sometimes the teams least expected are the ones who go all the way.
-
I also noticed this: that the past four years whoever opened the season playing at Philadelphia went on to win the Superbowl. Going by the trend, the Chargers will win it this year. If somehow they do every team will want to play the Eagles at the beginning of the season.
-
Your predictions are interesting. I'm not the only one who thinks that the Chargers can beat the Bengals. Most of the analysts seem to favor Cincinnati, though. I would rather have the Colts play New England than Denver. I don't think it would as easy to beat Denver this time around. New England could be tough, but they have flaws on which the Colts could take advantage.
-
I'm not predicting the outcome of the AFC playoffs since the games are so much different than the regular season.
However, I might be the only one who thinks that San Diego could actually beat Cincinnati. The Bengals haven't lost a home game, but I don't trust the Chargers. In the past they have seemed to come alive during playoff time. I'll have to wait and find out; hope I'm wrong.
As much as I admire Peyton Manning, I don't care about the Broncos. It's mostly because of John Elway; don't like that guy. Just something about him turns me off. If Denver goes all the way, though, I'll be happy for Peyton.
Gramz, I like that you're honest about your feelings: Peyton Manning first; Colts second. For me, the Colts come first, but I can see where you're coming from.

Congrats on the win, SheColt! Flying Elvis came very close, also. I didn't think I had gotten that many correct. There were some games where I chose an upset that didn't happen. Those Jets usually let me down, also.
I have fun predicting games, so I'm glad to see that you will still be doing it. maybe participation will increase next season.

I get off work at 3:30 on Saturday so will be home in time for the game. The scheduling couldn't have gone better.
-
I thought that Baltimore might pull an upset just because they were the SB champs, but am not real surprised with the outcome. Cincinnati is tough at home.
The Jets are a mystery. Never can guess which side is going to show up; they can dominate a game or completely fall apart. I find it amazing that the Steelers have a chance to make the playoffs after the bad start they had, all because Miami didn;t win when it counted.

One of my co-workers got me a Colts winter scarf. That was unexpected, as we didn't talk about any gift exchange at work. She knows I'm a Colts fan and thought I'd like it. That was very sweet of her; she does things like that all the time. She likes to shop and buys things for others.
My husband and I didn't exchange gifts; we always wait until after the holidays. We decided a few years back not to do gifts at Christmas. We just enjoy the holiday spending time together without all the fuss.

I never should have changed my prediction from Arizona to Seattle! That would have been another win for me. I really didn't expect this outcome, though, since Seattle had been so dominant at home. Great job Arians has done with the team!

What else is there to say except that Peyton Manning rocks!.

No, absolutely not! The Colts won their division, beat three of the teams headed to the Championship round, made the playoffs, won the first round, ended with a 11-5 record. There were bumps along the way, but considering everything, the season was successful. No one is going to convince me otherwise.
