  1. In response to the question about DaRick Rogers: I don't know that he's going to be any good, but I was thinking optimistically. I realize that he had alot of problems, and other teams didn't want him. There must have been a reason that the Colts took him, though. They must have seen some talent and decided to take a chance. Here's hoping that he can turn things around and contribute much to the team. This just could be the organization he needed.

It might not work out, but I'm willing to give him a chance.

  2. Nice thread! Here are some of the reasons I'm thankful:

Our owner. He may be addicted to twitter, and sometimes gets into trouble with tweets, but overall does a good job with the organization.

Head coach. Pagano is being criticized by some for his coaching abilities, but he overcame leukemia and returned to the job. That itself is a great thing.

Andrew Luck. Need I say more?

Signing of Da"Rick  Rogers. If he performs well the rest of the season, he looks to be a break out star.

DHB. Just kidding. But he does provide entertainment for the forums.

  3. I wear a Colts t-shirt and Colts watch every Sunday. The Sundays I work----which is every other weekend---I wear my Colts watch and horseshoe necklace since I can't wear a t-shirt at work. I don't consider it a superstition because it doesn't seem to affect the outcome of the games. I've worn the gear when they've won and lost.

Those with superstitions, remember it's only weird if it doesn't work.

  4. I don't like to predict scores of games because I have no idea what to expect. The Broncos are favored and need this game more than the Chiefs. And everyone knows what Peyton Manning can do on the field.

However, I like what Andy Reid is doing with the team, and would like to see Kansas City go far this year. (Except when they play the Colts.) This is the time of the year when upsets happen in the NFL, so I'm going with an upset and a Kansas City win.  This should be a good game.

  5. I'll go with the Patriots in this one. They play in New England, and even though they haven't been as consistent as other years Brady can still find weapons. I would trust Belichick's coaching over Del Rio's coaching . This one could be a shoot out.

  6. This is a difficult game to predict. Denver seems to be the favorite, but the Chargers have given Manning a rough time in the past. Rivers has been playing well, so that's not a concern (unless he would get injured.)

With Del Rio taking over the coaching, I'm not sure what to expect from Denver. Should be an interesting game.

  7. I didn't care about Collinsworth's remark that he would like to see the Texans score the tying field goal. That was unprofessional as he's suppose to be objective.

Otherwise, I think he made a good point about coaches being under stress. Limiting some working hours for them makes sense. I hope that everything turns out OK for Kubiak. Wishing him the best.

  8. I actually predicted the Jets game correctly last week. That's the team I could never get right.

It's going to be more difficult to predict wins now. There are going to be upsets as teams are going to step up to knock others out of the playoffs. it will be interesting to see who (if anyone) beats Kansas City first. I think it will be a team in their own division. it would be nice if Indy were the first team to do it, like with Seattle and Denver.
