  1. So does this mean RG111 is the Wiz?  Just kidding.....

Seriously, it could be that he is saying that to make himself feel better. I don't have a problem with RG111; if he wants to believe that he is the best, so be it. His playing proves otherwise, but he can't see beyone his image.

  2. I will laugh if T Rich becomes a star in Oakland. Is there such a thing?

I don't know why so many are picking on him. Just because Indy wasted a first round draft pick to get him and it didn't work out......at least he is no longer with the Colts. That's a good thing.

  3. I became interested in football through my father, but didn't have a favorite team at first. When I moved to Indiana, I started watching Colts games, since that was the closest team. I liked the way the organization was run, and the talent on the team. Then Peyton Manning was drafted, and that settled things: I became a Colts fan. Loved watching him play and setting records with his receivers.

When Manning went to Denver, there was no choice but to stay with the Colts. I couldn't leave my Indy team, though I wished Manning well. I had gotten too involved with the Colts to consider otherwise..With Andrew Luck, Hilton and the others, Indy has been an interesting team to watch, especially in the rebuilding years.

  4. I think the situation is over rated. The White House visit isn't mandatory, and if Brady didn't want to go, or had previous commitments, so be it. Maybe the statements did rub him the wrong way; in that case, Brady was justified in not paying a visit. The writer should just get over it and go on to different topics.

  5. I just can't imagine how anyone could throw their life away like that. Hernandez had everything going for him: talent, money and fame. He couldn't get away from the gang connections, or maybe didn't want to try.

The jury took awhile to come up with the verdict, so I wasn't sure which way they would go. Probably, as was suggested, they wanted to get al the facts straight.

  6. I always liked watching Polamalu play. He won't have any trouble getting into the HOF; one of the best safeties ever. Besides, no one I know of comes close to having such great hair. Wishing him luck in his retirement.

  7.  It would be interesting if Tebow signed with the Eagles. I don't know how he'd do in Chip Kelly's system, but seeing the reactions from Eagle fans and the media would be entertaining.

Also, despite all the negativity surrounding Tebow, he did manage to win a playoff game.

  8. I'm enjoying free agency this year. I have to work today and Tuesday, but expect to see a lot going on when I come from work. I would have liked Devin McCourty, but didn't really expect him to leave New England. I'm glad Darius Butler is staying, and am fine with Herremans. Just waiting to see what else the Colts have in mind.

  9. I'm on the fence about Ray Rice's apology. I would need to know whether he has really changed and will never do anything like that again. I can't let him off the hook completely. Apologies are easy to make; changing your lifestyle is difficult. I don't know how sincere he is.

So, I couldn't quite forgive him, but am putting off judgment for now since it's not my place to judge. if I were a Ravens fan, I don't think I'd be so willing to welcome him back with open arms.

  10. I liked to watch Favre play. he always had such enthusiasm for the game and looked like he was having fun. His retirement was a media circus, but I can get past that, and I think that other fans can, also.

The Packers have always been my second favorite team, and I'm glad that they are honoring Favre like that.

  11. It was a great game! I thought that the catch by Kearse was the end for New England, then came the interception. I never expected that.

I liked the beginning of halftime with Katy Perry riding the lion. I also like the beginning song. Then it went downhill.  There were just too many special effects overall. It kind of takes away from the artist's singing IMO. Too over the top. I'm not a fan of Missy Elliott. They should have let Lenny Kravitz sing more songs. That would have been a much better halftime show.

  12. My first thought was that the Seahawks should have given the ball to Lynch, and that he would have won the game for them. However, speculating afterwards, there is no guarantee that he would have scored. A very good chance, but suppose the Patriots defense had stopped him? After watching so much football, I'm finding that nothing in the game is certain. There are just many variables.

I did slightly favor New England, so congrats to them! They outplayed Seattle. Now I'm wondering when they'll be able to hold the victory parade. Boston is hit with another storm, and flights are cancelled. It might be awhile before the team gets to go back home.
