I'm not real surprised about Carolina's loss; just thought that it would be a closer game. Minnesota has one of the top defenses in the NFL, and Newton has been off this season, with the exception of one game.
What's strange is all the teams losing to rookie quarterbacks. I don't recall that happening before. And these are teams who are suppose to be playoff bound.

I'm liking the Minnesota defense; glad I took a chance on that. I also played Rivers and Melvin Gordon in one of my lineups, but neither did as well as expected. The Steelers' offense also wasn't so high powered this time.
Wondering if I should play Carson Wentz in the future. He seems to be the real deal.

Is Fanduel better than DraftKings?
I never played DraftKings, so I can't say, but I do enjoy Fanduel. I like the variety of leagues and tournaments and all the different amounts of money you can choose from. There are even free games no cash value, but to see how many points you can get.

I like Cruz because the match up is favorable against Washington. Don't know much about Tajae Sharpe; haven't really heard how he's doing so far in fantasy.
Otherwise, Decker or Wheaton. I don't trust Jacksonville players very much right now.

The first week I won $10 in a dollar tournament, so I'm ahead. Didn't win anything last week, although I came close. Antonio Brown and De'Angelo Williams helped me the first week, as did Luck. Brown kind of slid last week, but I'll still put him in my lineups.
I should have had New England as my defense this week, but didn't use anyone from Thursday night. At least I didn't use Osweiler.
-
I think the Patriots will pull out a win this week. The "Football Gods" seem to be smiling on them right now.
-
I appreciate the answers about Doyle's fantasy value. I notice that players tend to change and wasn't sure how that worked.
I was up in the air about having Rawls in one of my lineups, even though the matchup looked goodf;. went for it at the last moment.Didn't pan out, as Rawls wasn't productive and left the game with an injury. This week wasn't good compared with last week.

I play weekly fantasy football in different leagues, so my lineups change according to the matchups. There are a couple players who I keep on regular basis, though. (Antonio Brown being one of them.)
I would lean toward Big Ben because of the power offense Pittsburgh has. Winston was great last week, but he faces Arizona, which could be a problem. The thing is: one never knows which side of Arizona will show up.
I have a problem determining defenses. Last week I had Kansas City, which is suppose to be good, but got me only one point. The matchups sometimes are all out of whack defensively.
Another point: Jack Doyle had the highest fantasy points of all the tight ends. Who had Doyle on their line up? I don't know of anyone. So will his fantasy value increase now?

Aqib Talib doesn't commit a penalty. Also, Von Miller is a non-factor in the game.

After the Rams defense being torched last night, Rawls would be good choice. Isn't there some concern about his health, though? Not sure if I heard correctly.
If Charles doesn't play, then I like Ware. He might not do as well against the Texans, but I think that he'll still have a productive season if he's going to be the main runner.

No Gronk, no Brady, no problem. And they're playing on the road.
I didn't like the SNF into, either. It just didn't seem to work.

PPR league. Who for my flex, Moncrief, Kevin White, Tyler Lockett or Jordan Matthews.
I would go with Moncrief. Analysts have predicted that he will be a break-out player this year.

"In my mind I'm going to Carolina."
I don't trust Denver's quarterback situation, and Carolina will be eager for revenge. Maybe Cam hasn't done well in preseason, but I think that he'll come around in the regular season. Besides, Denver will be missing some key players.
On a side note, not worried about the Colts facing Denver. They have most often had the Broncos' number.
-
Aaron Rodgers. Would be great if Luck won, but he'd probably be Comeback Player instead.
Antonio Brown is another choice. I think that he's going to have a monster season.
-
I'm sensing a pattern: many of the former Colts players are now being released by their teams. It goes to show that the Colts didn't make a mistake in letting the players go in the first place.
-
The Vikings needed to do something as the season starts in a week. Bradford looked good in preseason, and as long as he can remain healthy, it might be OK. The Vikings have plenty of talent on their team, so it's not the end. I don't like the idea of them giving up a first round draft pick, but the deal is already done. Wait and see how this works out.
-
I'm not worried since the Colts never do well in preseason. I'll wait to see how they do the first few games of the regular season.

I like the Cleveland Browns beer can. That was too funny!
I kind of feel sorry for Romo; that guy just can't catch a break! (Or the problem is, he catches too many breaks! )
OK, that was bad. But he really should think about retirement. How much longer can he go on?
-
Number one would be no injuries. I'd also like to see Luck protected so he can throw the ball, and very few penalties.
-
Oakland and Kansas City fight for the AFC West title. One makes it as Wildcard.
New England misses the Playoffs.
RG111 leads the Browns to a winning season, although they don't make the Playoffs.

I play weekly games in fantasy football; that way I can change my lineups according to the matchups.
I don't understand why Andrew Luck would be considered a Bust. Give the guy a chance; he was injured almost all of last year. I definitely would put him on my weekly fantasy lineups to start the season.
Blake Bortles scored a lot of fantasy points last year. With the new players the Jaguars drafted, I wouldn't be surprised to see him do well again.
It's possible Marcus Mariota will be a sleeper. The Titans' TE Delanie Walker was a fantasy stud last year, and if he and Mariota can get together, things could happen. But not sure because Beckham-Green is no longer with them.
Bridgewater did quite well in fantasy football also. I couldn't say how he'll do this year.
I think that most of the analysts are just guessing. They don't know how well players will do. Injuries or suspensions can happen to change everything.

Does anyone knw if any local stations are televising the HOF game? I don't get ESPN, but sometimes the Colts local network picks up preseason games. if not maybe it will stream on the internet?
-
I would like to see the Raiders win the AFC West; hope you're right about that.
I just don't see the Cowboys winning the NFC East, though. They have too many issues: Greg Hardy, (unless he's already cut); Elliott being accused of assault, to name a few. Then there's the idea of Romo staying healthy, which isn't a sure thing. I'd be surprised if they do take first place.
-
I'm not making any prediction on win-loss record, because anything could happen to change things.
The teams I'm most concerned about are the Chargers (No matter their record, they seem to have the Colts number); the Raiders (unpredictable, and they have talent ), and the Steelers. (that team scares me, for some reason.)
Denver doesn't intimidate me at all. I think that we'll split the games with the Jaguars, possible losing the one in London.

Didn't go so good this week. Sometimes I wonder how much the NFL analysts really know. I was going to have some KC players, but it was suppose to be a bad match up against the Jets' defense. Turns out the Jets' didn't have a defense this week. Luck and Rivers were "starts of the week."; wasn't real bad, but not as expected.
Antonio Brown continues to impress. Despite the Steelers' pathetic defensive game, Brown still got me 20 points. He was one of the few bright points. Maybe next week will go better.
