  1. While I like to think P-Money is gonna pull off some pretty sweet wins, the Broncos have a pretty tough schedule and play in a pretty contested division with some teams Peyton hasn't exactly beaten with ease. Though I'm gonna give the Broncos the benefit of the doubt. They'd probably beat us if we played them, but I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say we may end up having a similar record. (but again, I'm gonna say most likely not.)

Peytons playing with a much better team than he had here. They easily are contenters.
  2. That's your opinion and you are welcome to it just as he was welcome to his which is all I was saying. Just because it's not a popular opinion doesn't mean others should be telling him not to post it. That's the only reason I said anything. Notice both parties have apologized to each other since then. I think it's safe to say both understood they rubbed each other the wrong way and have moved on from it.

I didnt read on , maybe I should have but what I did read was enough. What he said was just wrong , and Im sure he wasnt thinking that when Peyton won us a SB. I think the whole idea of what he said reflects the whole problem with our culture today. It rubbed me wrong and you are right, Im entitled to that opinion.
  3. It may be statistically a middle of the road schedule, but when I look at the games I see a ton of extremely winnable games.

@ Chicago - Likely loss with a healthy Cutler.....although if I were him, I'd sit the game out for fear of the Angerer.

    V Minnesota - I see the first W here.

V J-Ville - Blaine Gabbert is not beating us again. That team will suck for a while.

Bye - In all my years as a fan, we've never been beaten by the bye.

V Green Bay - I'll just pencil this one in as a loss.

@ NY Jets - Their offense gets worse everyday, and their D doesn't strike much fear. I see a hard-fought W.

V Cleveland - No way does Luck lose to Brandon 'Wheelchair' Weedon again.

@ Tennessee - I think we split with them again. This one's a loss.

V Miami - At this point Miami will be regretting the Tannehill pick and will be in full blown 'Blow for Barkley' mode.

    @ J-Ville - See above.

@ New England - Probably a prette easy loss, although I hate to say it.

V Buffalo - I'm split on this one. They look tough, but this is late in the year and they might suck again.

@ Detroit - Formidable offense. Defense has Jacob Lacey. I'm calling it a W.

V Tennessee - We win this one.

@ Houston - Likely a loss, but it won't be half as bad as last year when we went down there.

@ KC - They have a stronger team than last year indicated. This is a loss.

V Houston - If we could beat them with Danny O last year, we can beat them with Luck this year.

Adds up to 9 or 10 wins.

    No way we beat Detroit
  4. Nope, the strategy was to provide some balance on O and D.

You can't say "build the monster" and back it up with a draft like this. It is inconsistent, to say the least, IMO, at least from the defensive point of view.

I am excited about the offensive possibilities but I firmly believe we could have prioritized a few things differently. Oh well, it is my opinion against yours and possibly others!!!

I feel the same way, this is what we did with Manning and look what it got us. No way Luck will be as good as Manning so we had better build a great D, I see the tight end maybe, but we need d players
  5. I must admit that I have not been able to say goodbye yet. Im in utter shock. As a guy who became a Colts fan by watching The Great Johnny Unitus play, one of the greatest pleasures I've had in life has been watching you play. Unitus changed the way the QB position was played until you came along. I have to admit that I was one the the dummbys that wanted Lief over you. Thank God Irsay didn't listen to me,LOL You are by far the GREATEST that has ever played the QB position. In a way Im glad you left because I want you to win another SB. I did watch Unitis when he went to the Chargers but of course , rooted for my Colts. I wish you the best with Denver and will be pulling for you to show everybody how wrong they are when they doubt that you can play at the level you are used to playing. They just don't get it, you are the GOAT, and they are jealous of your ability. And God help you with you new kids. Im an old guy that has 3 not even near high school yet. I don't have a clue as to how you will be able to concentrate on football but if any one can, its you. You are in my prayers always and are loved by many people.

  6. Does anybody really know what direction this team is heading? I hear about certain schemes on running the ball, going to a 3-4 D. I don't think we will know what this team is going to look like until we see them play for a few games. Are we going to throw the ball allot? I doubt that and I will miss that, but I have no idea what a Grigs and a Pagano team will look like.

  7. It was a business decision, the Colts are a business, and the details are none of our business unfortunately.

Im not sure I agree with you. As a business owner I can tell you that if the customer asks for an explination on why I did something to their tool, I need to explain that to him. We are customers and we should be told about what is happening to our team. I think its a little arogant of Irsay, but thats a lib for ya.
  8. I hope that Luck and Griffin both turn out to be great prospects and I think each of them have different talents that they bring to the table. Luck brings a knowledge, accurate, traditional approach to the game where we bootlegs out and has the power and accuracy to make any throw in the field. RG3 has a more mobile approach, he brings a fast-paced Michael Vick style approach where the offense will score fast and often. I personally think that Luck would be the smarter pick for us because he will fit more with what the offense is trying to accomplish, while RG3 fits more with what Washington is trying to accomplish.
To be honest, we dont know what the offensise is going to be like. We only know they want to be good. It is going to change because of Mannining not being there. But we dont know what its going to look like.
  9. It feels like everyone is gone from the team. All our favorite plays except Mathis and bethea. Everyone I grew up watching that was here is gone. There's a lot missing from the heart you know?...

We haven't been appreciative of this team like it deserved. We haven't really appreciated Peyton until now... I regret that.

OUR team is gone... Starting this new era will be kind of hard. Not knowing who the players are or what this team is going to be like. But the way I see it is once we get to know players and coaches, and the more we see how our team he forming. I can appreciate this team like it deserves. Because I watched the greatest of all times slip through the colts fingers. I can now appreciate MY team like it deserves.

GO COLTS!! I love you Peyton and I love the colts.

The thing that bothers me is that while change happens, this came sudden and with a bang. They got rid of everyone. At least Marvin was here when Manning came. Im sure that helped Manning. We have no offensive weapons at all. I never liked Polians schemes and I think he wasted the GOAT player on them. I like where we are going now just think they should have kept some veterans to help teach new guys. Im here in AZ waiting to see if Manning is coming here. While im always a Colts fan first even though I dont like Irsay because hes a huge LIB, I love Manning and would love to see him win another SB and I will go watch him play. Cant wait.
