  1. I have been looking at Bridgewater . I think he would be great here he’s 27 years old I don’t think we’d have to pay that much for him I think he would be a great fit for our Colts team.
  2. I feel the exact same way . You’re not alone bro
  3. It’s funny because I was old enough to have a Bert Jones jersey but living in Phoenix we weren’t able to watch a lot of Colts games I just had to watch them whenever they were on and look at the paper the next day would’ve loved to of gotten a Dickerson one I have all the other ones plus a few but I like the Burt Jones idea
  4. I will be wearing his jersey today to honor him so happy he finally got in
  5. My whole statement about the heart of a champion was my opinion that was the just of it can you really not understand that? I don’t care what opinion you have , to respond to my post the way you did was pretty lame and tells me you probably need to get out of your parents basement. And btw, I’ve been watching the Colts for over 50 years. That doesn’t make me an expert but to say I must be new is pretty dumb.
  6. I know this is months late but I had to respond . You are not understanding my posts I think you should re-read them. I talked about the heart of a champion. As an example Roberto Duran after the no mas fight which in my opinion he lost because he had to lose so much weight and he was absolutely in no shape to fight Leonard as quickly as that fight happened. Duran came back because he had the mentality of a world champion took out David Moore pretty easily and went toe to toe with one of the greatest middleweights of all time and darn near won the fight. I might add in his career he beat the pants off of Leonard and held the light weight championship of the world for seven years. It’s because he has the mental fortitude that it takes to be the champion of the world. Peyton Manning coming back from a terrible injury he had the heart of a world champion and that’s what it takes. Andrew luck admitted that he wasn’t mentally capable of playing period. He has that right and I understand that. Last year when he played against the Chiefs in the playoffs he looked terrible and I started to questions that heart at that point. I’m not trying to put down Andrew luck he certainly has the talent to be a world champion but he is has admitted he doesn’t have the mentality to do it. I want a Roberto Derann or a Peyton Manning leading my team.
  7. Well by my standards you are correct however in this day and age everything subjective in fact there’s no wrong answer anymore if 6+4 = 9 hey that’s OK as long as you feel good about it. That’s the most important thing
  8. No way that would probably end my 55 years is a Colts fan
  9. I agree however I do like Sanders that guy is a very very good receiver still at 32
  10. I feel the same way my concern is that all the injuries are really hurting us and we can’t play the game that we can and are capable of playing.
  11. Yaaaaaaa we can watch the game here I Phoenix. Rarely happens
  12. All I can say is I like this young man . He is smart and He makes good decisions for his youth And he has a very strong arm. Is he going to be a Peyton Manning no not at all but right now he’s not making stupid rookie mistakes and he is putting our team in a position to win games . When luck wimped out and quit I was very upset and thought we were in trouble. I don’t feel that way now at all . I now think that we have a chance to win any game we play and as this kid learns more we as a team will be even better . I love what our coaches are doing we usually have the highest possession of time over the teams that we play that helps our young defense. I see us as a team of only getting better and who knows maybe Super Bowl bound in the next year or two.
  13. I don’t want him as I said in the past he doesn’t have the mental ability to last so it’s not worth it.
  14. I have to agree with you 100% I love this front office all the way down to the coaching I never liked a lot of the Colts teams that they put on the field during Paytons tenure here. The front office has done it just an incredible job with great young players with very promising futures I just love this team.
  15. Are you kidding me ? Everybody says Peyton Manning wasn’t good in the playoffs he had a few tough ones but for the most part it wasn’t on him in fact his playoff stats are pretty good if you look them up and put them against Brady . My computer just crashed otherwise I would put up some stats that would prove you wrong. Did you see how our defense could never stop anybody only one year did they actually stop someone and that’s when they won the Super Bowl.
  16. Boy isn’t that the truth I was screaming about the Holding it was totally obvious .
  17. I think he had possession of it in the air no problem it’s when he hit the ground that it bobbled
  18. I think you’re right I think we’re just gonna have to wait and see what happens and hope for the best.
  19. Maybe we will see a miracle I hope so that would make for a very very fun season .
  20. OMG. Stop it that was the worst game in Colts history I have tried to forget that for years now. That was the best team the Colts ever had with Peyton Manning no question about it but they were held out their last two games and didn’t start playing until the end of the game . Tony Dungee screwed that up as far as I’m concerned I hate that game I’ve never watched it since. And I have it on DVD . LOL
  21. Very well written sir you hit the nail on the head. This is exactly how I feel. Because of my age I think the odds of me seeing the colts win a Super Bowl again is pretty slim. I’ve already lived through those years between Johnny Unitas and Peyton Manning and I just don’t want to go through that again and that’s what I see happening. Thank you for writing what you did and helping an old man get through this.
  22. Except for the fact that you never heard Burt Jones say he mentally couldn’t take it so he decided to retire.
