  1. Lol! Keep those cars in your name!

Mine is a 62 Vette. Had it for over 30 years. It has a 350, but I'm planning on a full restore, including finding a 327.

But I'm not a Motörhead, really!

Do love body style of the old Vettes . Finding the 327 should be easy now.

  2. The only thing I will say is we would not have gone 11-5 two seasons in a row, and we would not have Frank Gore or Andre Johnson if he was not becoming the 'E' word......Elite.  This may be the year he dominates the league.  Then again...it may not :)

Yes Brother you are correct , he has the attention of his peers , that is a statement in itself and one Im more likely to listen too.

  3. Bingo! I want to see genuine support for the troops not being paid to clap or salute our armed forces. I understand any organization or branch has operational costs to run smoothly, but this just feels wrong on so many levels. My dad who served in Korea would be livid over this new revelation.

Look, I get the exposure side of things that the NFL provides on their media platform I truly do, but does this also mean that my beloved image of player observances during the Natl. Anthem are also not genuine either? I sincerely hope not. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar industry & team owners are pretty wealthy too. Why is our military paying for manufactured support by NFL franchises?

No, forcing our armed forces to give the NFL a cut for fake natl. pride is very disturbing to me. Would the NFL shake down the Red Cross too? SMH.

I agree support our men & women wholeheartedly & completely but not like this. Advertising my caboose...I get the recruitment angle during the NFL season of course, but the NFL can afford to grant US military exposure for next to nothing. It's the right thing to do.

Kind of the point I was making , I do not hold this against the military, however professional sports should tribute troops for free. never should've excepted the money. Im sure this is not confined to just the NFL.

  4. I looked at the teams, and I wondered why the money????  Why?

Then I thought about Dale Jr's National Guard car from last year, Graham Rahal's Indy Car....The Navy pays big bucks for their commercials as does the Marines.

In the NFL, maybe the military looked at their recruiting efforts and said "We need to recruit better in these areas."  Atlanta has lots of unemployment, Indy is doing better, but struggles big time in certain communities and the farmers as well.

If the military feels they need to pay the Falcons 1.05 million, there is a very good reason IMO.

PS:  Remember how much the military got charge for nails and screws?  OK the last part is sarcasm....

Ive got no problem with military paying for this as a recruiting tool. I think NFL or any major sports should tribute the troops just because they can , and its the right thing to do.

  5. Why should Bjorn be in the dog house.  He has improved over the last 2 seasons, just not at Rush LBer.  He has played well at SLBer.  He was not the one who decided to pick himself in the 1st round.

At times played well , but inconsistent , he was on the pines late , they are not happy with him.

  6. I think he will put on some muscle and get toned up a lot more being in the NFL training program. Either way, I think he's the steal of our draft.

I  think D Joun Smith is as well , really like the D draft , really filled some needs ,with what I see as quality.
