  1. Many would not like this...If we can get Brown (still unlikely to me but...) or say Goldman, I would try to trade up to get Tevin Coleman.  Since he ran a 4.3 at his Pro day.....he is even faster than when he played last season with a broken foot :)

This kid is amazing IMO don't be supprised if we pull the trigger on a move up. It would be sacreligious to let him go to the people we don't mention in this forum and they have shown interest ! :D

  2. Multiple things are wrong with your post.  First you seemingly give Polian credit for that vision - bringing the Colts to two Super Bowls - then turn around and say it really wasn't his vision anyway.  Which is it?

Beyond that, the super small, slim lined version of the Indianapolis Tampa 2 differed from what you saw in Tampa or in Chicago with Lovie, and after following it for a decade, I would say, yes, Polian, not Dungy, was the driving force who brought the sleek Indianapolis version to a reality.  There was the Tampa 2, then there was the Indianapolis version of it.

Finally, I would say the Indianapolis 2, with DTs the size of LBs and LBs the size of DBs, kept us from more Super Bowls than it brought us.  There's a reason that defense is now resting on the ash heap of history.

    Wrong!  Coffee is on it.

I Second that motion , Coffee is spot on .

  3. I like what I saw from Kerr. I think he hit the rookie wall but he should be better this year. I am really anxious to see what Quarles can do. He is quick off the ball. I think he can be the pass rusher on the D Line we have been looking for.

I totally agree we are one guy away from being pretty solid in the trenches. Hopefully one of those big bodies falls to us early in the draft.

It would be great if Quarles contributed this year, show some player development. I was excited when we signed him away from NE's PS. He was a guy I was hoping for as an UDFA. He needed work against the run.

I think part of the reason he went undrafted was he was wanted for questioning in a nightclub fight right before the draft. He also needed work against the run and was seen as a situational pass rusher. He probably would have benefited from staying another year.

TMZ Sports has learned. Officials have confirmed ... 22-year-old Victor Hampton (cornerback) and 22-year-old Kelcy Quarles (defensive tackle) are "wanted for questioning at the very least" regarding an incident at Greenhouse nightclub on April 11.

Both players were standouts at the University of South Carolina and have been projected to be 2nd or 3rd round draft picks.

That was last year apparently nothing come from it.

  4. To topic, Jones can play NT, but we do not want him too.  I agree with above...he needs to come in a little leaner and meaner for 2015/16 season.  We NEED a healthy Art Jones.

Guys, please do not forget the draft.  We could sign someone like Jeris Pendleton back as well for little to nothing for camp.  He showed promise when promoted to the active roster 2 seasons ago.

That formula applies to Chapmam , Hughes and Kerr as well come in , in game shape ready to unleash the beast . Overweight just complicates things to much.

  5. I always wondered how so many GMs on here seemed so much more knowledgeable than me  haha

Now I know.  I wish they had Madden when I was a kid.  35 years of knowing football is much less than Madden  :bossy:  :lecture:  :realitycheck:

    :sarcasm:

Don't know how we ever survived without it or ever learned a dog gone thing.

  6. I was shccked...

You regularly see Colts at Pacers' games ...I'm sure they get in for free....and they aren't Indiana natives

....Sometimes fandom seems to require a 'purity' test.....

....as if you have to have been born in a state or live there 11 months a year to be a 'real' fan of local teams

As Ive seen Pacers at Colts games. I  think some folks need to get a life lol . Cant someone just be fans of the game , without birthright ?

  7. They had QB's they just sucked .  The last 2 seasons Clowney has had injury issues as a junior in college he was great since then a paper tiger meow  & Wilfork well he's not Suh we'll just have to see if he has anything left in the tank ..

Everyone brings there A game when they play the Colts regardless of records there have been some very tough games in our division , When you can't run or stop the run that is not exactly the recipe for a cakewalk IMO ..

On paper they look great & J.J Watt has proved to be a handful a 1 man wrecking crew yet they are still second best in the AFC South .

Both teams have improved  every year we will see what we see, at the end of the day an improved Colts defense with a Colts offense led by Andrew Luck  will be to much for the Texans . Always a bridesmaid never a bride .. haha

Not to mention the new offensive weapons at Lucks disposal. 1 with something to prove in texas ?

  8.  Gotta wonder if you maybe read a book while watching Some of the game. Chapman is solid as a rock.

How can you not remember he was a likely 2nd rounder but for serious knee injuries that he played with en route to a National Championship. This was a Huge story.

Got to agree , he needs to get back to a playing weight around 320 so hes a little quicker and doesn't wear down as easy, but hes no slouch.

  9. Teams get 'ramped up' to play division teams, and on any Sunday the best team in the NFL can be beaten by one of the worst teams.

I am not sure Houston is laying over and dying...they are going to beat some folks.

    6 EASY games....whatever.

Correct  there are no easy games in this league period. The second you think that you find yourself on the short end of the stick.

  10. Of course, the question was...whether Rodgers is a real badger fan...and if he is or isn't,whether that's Okay

Lol its ok , and really up to him . Nobody elses business. Hes friends with these folks . Honestly didn't get where the people criticizing him were even coming from.

  11. The only INTs that tick me off are ones that are right to the receiver and he lets it get intercepted.....well I also dislike when a QB throws it straight to the opposing player.  "Where the heck was he throwing that."   :)

Outta LIKES but im with you, or when you are throwing a timing route and the receiver just quits his route. How in the hell do you just quit on the route ?
