  1. Someone said he looks fat . I don't see it watched his combine just cant see any wiggle and jiggle there. Is he ripped with definition ? No , maybe in time , but more important in my book is what Superman referred to is his drive .

  2. As everyone knows I wanted Malcolm Brown.  I felt DT was a huge need, and Brown is a huge man.

Montori Hughes is up to 350, and Kerr is up to 335.  Maybe we do have a couple of studs there.  Langford stops the run pretty well and Chapman is still here.  Anderson from Stanford to me is the sleeper of the bunch...I hope I am right.  I also think Quarles can play.

****Note:  Jeris Pendleton is no longer on the roster.

BTW...our LB corps is fantastic if healthy.

I agree think Anderson can be used several places on passing downs and look for him to help the pass rush. My wish is to get to season healthy on both sides of the ball.

  3. It's legal speak. . . The burden of proof that the NFL is operating under is the same that is used in a civil case and is even used in campus misconduct hearings.

That burden of proof is "Preponderance of Evidence".  Which means that we operate based on what finding is more probable.  This is not a criminal trial where the burden of proof extends to beyond a reasonable doubt.

The lawyer by saying "more probable then not" was saying "the set burden of proof was met."

Honestly I think the proof provided would meet a higher burden if required.

I still say they are gonna get off easy because they are going to take into account that there is ample evidence that other teams have done this or may do this as par for the course.

Other teams did not get caught , although your spot on the legality.

  4. Yeah, that's the tragic part about it, the balls didn't even need to be deflated. The Patriots are one of the most talented teams in the league. As it stands, though, only three guys knew of this it seems, so there's no need for people to throw dirt at the whole organization.

Yes and it makes the infraction even worse in my eyes , time for the Comisch to grows some kahunas and do something . Oh but him and Kraft are buds , so guess what nothing of consequence will happen !

  5. I don't think he will with our 6 that are very good (Dorsett and Carter un-proven...Moncrief's flashes) I think he is going to be PS myself, but need to see how he does in camp/preseason.

You have to pull for the young man , hope he makes the PS .

  6. i think we go 6 WRs.  Vincent Brown will make it too....I agree with jskinnz on the OL.

Ballard will be interesting.  We know he will give it all he has.  Tipton may see PS again.  I really liked Z.

We have discussed this before think im with you on 6 WRs , and more because of the talent of the group . Any chance Bray makes it ?

  7. I just said this in another thread...just that he is the X-factor :)  I love that.  Best hands in the draft.  I loved M. Brown for our pick but Anderson will play from whistle to whistle!!!

I agree MR Anderson has a motor and attitude as does Parry ,don't think we went wrong with either Stanford product. Don't think ive seen our corner A Smith mentioned , he wont move either corner from our starting rotation not many corners could IMO , but think he will help in nickel , also give us depth if someone goes down , as will Geathers at safety . I really like this Draft once I was able to study it.
  8. Bolded 1) I disagree. The team was invited, not just Brady. If the president had personally invited Tom Brady, then I'd agree. But even taking your opinion as gospel, you don't know that he didn't call the president. (I doubt that he did, but again, I don't think he needed to.)

Bolded 2) That may not be a false narrative. He might not like the president. That's his right, as is declining to participate in the event. That's a constitutional right. Let's not try to argue that away from him.

And my bigger reaction to all of this is a hearty and full-throated "WHO CARES, REALLY?" I don't mean to offend anyone, but it really doesn't matter -- really, it's about as inconsequential as anything could possibly be -- that Tom Brady didn't go to the White House. That we're even talking about it sort of offends my sensibilities. It just doesn't matter.

I agree , if you want to talk consequential , talk Camden Yard empty for a MLB  game because of rioting and looting !
