With the Colts getting rid of Inman and keeping Rogers instead, Funchess really needs to step in and be what we all hope he can be and be a great #2 WR.

With Hilton, Funchess, Ebron and Doyle as all legit pass catching options (not to mention RB's out of the backfield) I would be having nightmares if I was an opposing DC trying to gameplan against that.

I believe P Campbell is going to shock some people as well Brother . Ready to get the party started . Hopefully we make it through camp without any major health issues .

Just because we didn't get the "names" or the guys we thought we should pick they knock the picks. Cause obviously they're GM's and work with an entire scouting department and do thorough research on the players as well. Go figure, same sh%# different day. It's every draft

Yes I agree , last year who knew Leonards name ? I think Ballard has a great scouting team in place.

Until the Titans get a QB that is legit good, they are not a worry. Mariota isn't bad, I would say average but far from good. Tannehill pretty much the same. They have the worst QB in the division and that is glaring. Foles is good, Watson is good, and Luck is very good/borderline great.

Yes in a real short period of time on Luck , he was in the elite category last year , and seems to improve every year he has been healthy.

Great post, with me I was born in 1971 so I really didn't start watching sports until the late 70's as a young kid and I thought the 80's was just so damn great. That is when I grew up though and around the mid 80's I became a Colts and Cubs fan. To me that doesn't take away from the Unitas' or players like Graham or Jim Brown who are among the all-time greats and it shouldn't. What the Packers accomplished in the 60's does get overlooked as well. They had a tremendous run of winning. Lombardi is still arguably the greatest coach ever.

I am fortunate enough to have seen those Packers and remember as well as the Unitas led Colts , seen Butkus and Sayers with the Bears .

I don’t think there is any reason he won’t be ready by training camp. He will probably be close to being ready for OTA’s and working out with Luck.

If he's healthy , I believe he makes a major impact in the Offense. To bad we didn't have him last year.

I think it's a form of trash talking that will fire up the Chiefs some. I trash-talk myself, but if I lose, I'm the only one that looks bad. If we lose, then not only does Irsay look bad, but it paints the team in a poor light because Irsay was talking trash for them and they didn't back it up. Not in favor of it really. Irsay is starting to get cocky, and that's when you lose.

I agree but don't think it will matter . I think the Colts are that much better overall on both sides of the line.

Yes true road game...going to be tough. I think I heard no B1G team has ever won at Arkansas ever. Another measuring stick for this young team. May still be short handed. Really heartbroken for Jerome Hunter. He was suppose to be a big help off the bench and waiting to hear what is wrong that he needed surgery on his leg. Heard it was at the Cleveland Mayo Clinic and non-sports related. I don’t have much hope for Duke at Cameron...but just want to see them continue to grow. Loved Phinesee and Romeo looked great too. Good start to the season!

Yes Purdue must be kicking themselves over Phinesee . My guess just a guess on Hunter's leg , must be nuerological .

Yes a big step up. Marquette is ranked and IU has 3-4 guys likely out with injuries. Green, Race, Hunter, and perhaps Mcroberts. I still think they have enough talent to win though. Phinesee has been really good so far this year. I like the kid. Can’t believe Purdue let a kid from Lafayette get out of town. Going to be a good one for us. Romeo has still not shot the ball well but he knows how to get to the basket and draw fouls. Defense for us is way ahead of the offense. I look for Morgan to have a good game. Excited to get it going!

Being hindsight I think they dominated from the start , lets see if they take it on the road in Ark. They definitely have plenty of talent , D was very good. Lol they still wont be ready for Duke . End of season who knows ?

The Georgia game I think was asking s lot of that team to win. The Tennessee loss is just a bad loss. Like a hangover from the week before. Sadly probably cost you a New Years bowl game. Just a tough week to be a Cats fan. IU had a good week. We’ve got a few injury concerns but the basketball and football teams both won...that’s an accomplishment! Happy for ND too. The running game really showed up. I was worried about Winbush but the rest of the team really carried them to a good win. Syracuse is no joke...tough test next week.

Your correct Book will be back against Syracuse and will be needed. KY has had a very good year in a very strong conference. IU plays Marquette Wen. a better test of where they are so far. I have liked the athleticism so far .

Im not sure...young guys I like are Pat Fitzgerald and I love Matt Rhule who we talked to for our job...I love their coaching styles. Of course I would love Dabo Sweeney or David Shaw but that ain’t happening...I’d take either of the other two. I’m probably missing another young coach or two I just can’t think of but I like their positivity and how they treat their players and build a program....I feel like Kelly just lives off of his talent and I’ve yet to see him really develop a QB which I thought he was suppose to be a strength of his. He is just too up and down and I just don’t prefer his anger at them sometimes.

I don't like Kelly's offensive game plan , I think he kills drives at times . To me to predictable .

IU is 3-0 :billiejean:Can't say that often!

I believe Allen is  turning the program around , like what I see. They certainly have some young talent. Will they be top tier in B10 this year ? I doubt it but I think they are very capable of a bowl. That being said they have to earn it , for they are in the toughest division of the conference. They did a much better job against Ball ST than ND .

Since hardly nobody is picking us to win, Colts will win in Washington. That is bold because almost everyone has us losing.

I will walk out on that limb with you as I will pick them as well. Hey brother did you bring the saw with you ?:spit:

Of course there is a few others. But probably not enough and certainly lacking in playmakers outside of TY and potentially Mack.

Do you like our WR group besides TY ?

Do you like our RB group?

    How about our RT situation?

    Our pass rushers?

    Our LB corps?

    How about our CB's.

How many of our position groups are on par with the better teams? Or even average teams?

How many position groups will give us an ADVANTAGE over our opponents on the field?

The inside of our OL should be ok if not good.

    Our TE's should be decent.

If our Safeties can stay healthy, and thats a Big If, it can be a strenght in a other wise a potentially bad defense.

To early to tell ask me around week five and I will tell you what I like and don't like. Inexperienced yes ,lacking talent maybe. Time will settle that one.

It’s some of both.  But the Suggs sack was squarely on LeRaven Clark.  He inexplicably blocked down on Nelson’s guy while Doyle was only chipping Suggs.  By the time he realized his screwup, it was too late.

Good observation , what I seen as well , held my breath on that one .
