I prefer the base unis, but also enjoy a little different look once in a while (2 - 3 times a season?).

I'm just happy to see them on TV, so I'm not going to go too nuts with the colors they wear (as long as it's blue & white (mostly).

BUT, I'm color blind, so I'm sure that discounts my opinion.

BTW, anyone see the Browns/Bengals game?

What if they played each other in a color rush game? You couldn't fit anymore orange on the screen.

    Brown's would go....all brown

If Cain can bounce back quickly from that ACL. I like my chances with Ty Hilton, Dontrell Inman, and Deon Cain as our top three WRs going into next season. Also with the way we utilize our TEs, defense is a MUST right now.

I think people are underestimating the impact of the two PS receivers we have in Fountain and Ishmael. They've got the talent and size. I think we don't need to focus on another WR in the draft.

Not a expert on O-Line play but I didn't think Q or Smith had good games.

Luck got sacked a couple times, atleast 1 officially AND run game not as produtive as it was in that 3 game span few weeks ago.

Not interested in PFF ratings if they rate Chubb over Barkley.

or we actually played a better D line than we have in the past few weeks. Dolphins D is no joke.

Ok so trade deadline is this week. I’m 10-1 but there are 3 other teams that have a shot at winning in the playoffs.

    QB Goff, Mayfield

    RB Zeke, Barkley, Mixon, Mack

    WR thielen, Green, Alshon, Sutton

    TE kittle

    Def Bears

im thinking of trading Mixon for Chubb. Both have great matchups for playoffs but I think Chubb will be better. I’m also thinking of packaging Mack and Thielen for a top WR like Jones, Hopkins, or davante Adams. $200 and bragging rights are on the line haha.

Thielen is a top wr. Unless you think he's got significant drop off coming up. Id do green.

I'll piggy back on your thread to point out that the four letter network got the playoff machine out for this year. Good times.

I've got the Colts in. Oddly quite a lot of what's going to happen hinges on what happens when the Bolts play the Bengals. I also see Green Bay getting in, because you can't kill them.

I've got the colts in as well, but I think the Giants game in week 16 will be the deciding game to really watch. Houston still takes the division, but we get in at 6th or 5th, depending on the week 17 Chargers vs Broncos game.

I'm so glad the playoff machine is back.

  6. QB: A. Luck

RB: Mixon vs Cle(7th), Mack vs Mia(5th)

WR: Evans vs SF(13th), Boyd vs Cle(9th)

    TE: J. Heuerman vs Pit(10th)

    Flex: Breida @TB(6th)

    Bench:

    Landry @ Cin(6th)

    Tre'Quan Smith vs Atl (5th)

    D. Cook vs GB (18th)

    Gus Edwards vs Oak (8th)

    Lower number better matchup.

Thinking of trading D. Cook for J. Cook to upgrade my TelE, thoughts on trade and roster?

I think he will comfortably win Comeback Player of the Year but Brees for MVP this year in my opinion.

Luck next year with a host of new offensive weapons (including Cain back) will push hard for that MVP though.

I think Mahomes my have something to say about that.

Ok I need a QB this week since Goff is on bye. I’m thinking of either picking up Mayfield(vs bengals) or Lamar Jackson(vs raiders). Both have great matchups but Baker would be the safer bet.

Also, I have to choose between Joe Mixon and Marlon Mack for my flex(starting Zeke and Barkley). Mixon is against Cleveland and Mack is against Miami.

Mayfield for sure, Jackson just runs. As far as the other two, who knows man, its a toss up. I have them both in my other league and I am less than impressed with either right now. Miami allows more yards (just barely) but fewer TDs.  However, Indy is much more efficient at running than Cinci is. Both are at home, but if I had to take a pick I would go with Mack. I think Indy might pull ahead again and therefore use the run more than the Bengals will since AJ Green is out.

I don’t think this year is abnormal with good FAs. Every year you can get a top 5 QB off waivers. Last year Wentz & Watson. the year before that MVP Matt Ryan... this year Goff and Trubisky. And there are always breakout RBs. I remember picking up Devonta Freeman, Jay Ajayi, David Johnson and Jordan Howard off waivers during their breakout years. Heck last year I picked up Kamara. I really believe that playing the waivers/trades is equally important as the draft.

but if everyone benched their solid to good players when they play you so you couldn’t poach anyone worth anything then you’d win almost every game in the regular season. But then you’d have teams who are borderline playoff teams who will risk it and end up losing their stars to you.

Id like to see a league play out, but I’d be willing to bet the vampire teams would win the majority of leagues

Well after the trade deadline time, or even the end of the season if you want to stretch it, the Vampire wouldn't be able to take players during the playoffs. This is because the Vampire's focus is during the season only and would be wholly unfair. Leaving the possibility of a "gimme" matchup in the playoffs versus a win inflated team.

I feel like the vampire team would win the league every year. Like in my league Connor, Phillip Lindsay, Goff, Tyler Boyd, and bears defense were all undrafted. Those guys alone would win you a few games and by week 10 your team would be unbeatable due to poached players.

Not if the other players are smart. The technique of benching valuable players during a projected loss, may give the vampire the win, but come playoff time, they can still be stuck with a 2nd string team. But yes, the Vampire can build up and have a strong team at the end of the season. Since its a new idea, I'm not sure how it plays out. But you don't always have people like Connor and Goff go undrafted, more often not the waivers only have a few good players but can be inconsistent.
