Wow this is this is a tough one. I like reggie, but i dont think he can beat harrison. But manning has done more for the team i believe. But a WR vs WR would be cool, but the two record holders vs. each other would too....decisions decisions.
Manning
Harrison

The key word in that was IF. And the List of Recivers ^^^^ only ONE of them is worth talking about. That's Bills WR Johnson cause he had a Decent Year. Other than that, your List is Irrelevant
Yes, the IF, was a hypothetical. It does not, however, change the fact that they would still have been great receivers regardless of their number assignment.

can you name any wr wearing 13 or 14 thats worth mentioning
Buffalo Bills - 13 Steve Johnson
Dolphins - Marlon Moore 14, Davone Bess 15
Raiders - Derrick Jones 14
Chargers - Richard Goodman 15
Ravens - Laquan Williams 15
Browns - Greg Little 15
Jags - taylor Price 15
Titans - OJ Murdock 15
Dallas - Andre Holmes 15
Eagles - Riley cooper 14
Redskins - Anthony Armstrong 13
49ers - Hastings 13, Crabtree 15
Et. al.
And furthermore. Are you telling me peopele like Hines Ward, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Victor Cruz, Greg Jennings, Jerry Rice, etc. would not be "worth mentioning" if they had the numbers 13 or 14 assigned to them? I think not.

And there is a numbers chart afterall:
QB: 1-19
RB: 20-49
WR: 10-19 & 80-89
TE: 40-49 & 80-89
OL: 50-79
DL: 50-79 & 90-99
LB: 50-59 & 90-99
CB: 20-49
S: 20-49
P: 1-19
K: 1-19

Other than a superstition, is there any real REASON, why a WR cannot be in the teens, like Collie is 17, 14 is just 3 away. Whats the big deal, is there like a chart that specifies which number ranges can be assigned to a certain position. I dont think so since Peyton was 18. Why do they have to be a certain number?

someone exlplain to me why 13 or 14 would be ugly, or why they need to be in the 80's?

Manning, Clark, and Garcon i wil follow.

Here are the round 2 matchups. Some minor upsets in Round 1, but nothing major. Remember, vote by bolding the ones you like, or just writing them down.
1. Peyton Manning
vs
16. Marshall Faulk
9. Dwight Freeney
vs
8. Jim Harbaugh
12. Robert Mathis
vs
5. Jeff Saturday
20. Dallas Clark
vs
4. Reggie Wayne
22. John Mackey
vs
6. Jim Irsay
19. Bert Jones
vs
3. Marvin Harrison
10. Edgerrin James
vs
7. Tony Dungy
18. Lenny Moore
vs
2. Johnny Unitas
I think a few of your numbers are way off. Why was Clark a 20 and Faulk a 16?

DJake Long was a rookie that year, Chad pennington got replaced by Brett favre and had to learn a new offense in Miami and won comeback player of the year and was simply a game manager, and Miami got rid of Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas, Vonnie Holliday is the only one worth mentioning along the dline, they did add Joey porter who led in sacks and the only CB worth mentioning was andre goodman but they all learned new systems just like we are doing they roster was depleted just like our that's why they had to re-invent the Wildcat
Did i just black out an entire year? I dont remember Brett Favre playing for the Dolphins.

Noone is certain to make the team, and someone like Brody Eldridge, who has shown bad attitude and mediocre talent, is not an exception. I have never been a fan of him. if he was such an excellent blocker, then why was our run game never that good with him on the field. And now we sign another QB, So correct me if im wrong but we have
Andrew Luck
Drew Stanton
Chandler Harnish
Trevor Vitattoe
and now David Legree
Do we really need this many QB's? and of all of these, who is most likely to be the 2nd string QB to back up Luck. It better be someone who can perform. I would like to see it be Stanton.

So basically we are doomed in Corner and wide receiver if anyone goes down? AWESOME!

I was actually at that same game. Dec 19th 2010. The same game Collie got his 3rd concussion (Wife almost cried). We sat in section 116, row 3, seat 21 & 22. One of the best days of mine and my wifes life. She had never been to a football game and wasnt really a fan of football til she got with me. She converted to being a colts fan, not by marriage, but because of her liking the team. Collie is her favorite player and we got a great picture of him catching a TD. The atmosphere was great, everyone was super nice and social. The stadium is super nice, great layout. Got our faces painted and everything. We plan on going to the Dec 30th game against the Texans, but this time with both my daughters. (9 and 1)

Should keep him cuz his is a good punter who can also handle kicks. He should not be kept for his tackling ability.
The kicking thing to me was a given. The guy is hilarious and a seems like a really legit and cool guy.

The thing that aggervated me the most about the NO vs IND superbowl was when we finished out the 2nd qtr with 3 run plays with over a minute left on the clock. I mean seriously. We had timeouts, why would we go down the field and score a touchdown or even a field goal. That would have influenced Sean Peytons choice to onside kick. Heck even if they did do the onside kick, it still would have been a 6 - 10 point difference, depending on if we scored a TD or FG. They would not have had time to go down and get a field goal. That was the most horrific decision i have ever seen the colts do.
-
I say keep McaFee for sure. This is the only kicker that i have seen that ACTUALLY tackles. Its amazing to me. I mean he will full on put a hit on a guy. Did it like 3 times last year and saved some TD's on return. I dont mean lay down in front of and trip, i mean shoulder down and wrap up. We need to keep him.

I did go back and here it is again:

Oh it is. But you Texan fans get the largest of heads because you've won the division ONCE over the past like 14 years. The Titans have won it more than you guys. When you consistently win the division for more than 2 years, that's when you can call it a trend.
Somebody still sounds a little butthurt about us winning. Think about this realistically, dude: Luck is not going to be good for the next four years. Your team is in disarray, the only thing you did to get better this offseason is draft Luck and Fleener. And by the way, we won the division in dramatic fashion...Ravaged by injuries, with a rookie quarterback...while you, however, lost in dramatic fashion...
2-14 has never been so funny. Your team is pathetic, at least we kept winning when our FIRST TWO quarterbacks went down.
That seems a little bit antagonistic to me. Randal was speaking the truth, I have seen it myself in person. Texans fans are very proud, albeit deservedly, but to a cocky and bragging point to where you gotta be brought down some. This was your first division win and 2nd winning season in your franchise history.
2010 you went 6-10 and placed 3rd. (tied and down 2 games to Jags)
2009 you went 9-7 and placed 2nd (by one over tennesse)
2008 you went 8-8 and placed 3rd
2007 you went 8-8 and placed 4th
2006 you went 6-10 and placed 4th
2005 you went 2-14 and placed 4th
2004 you went 7-9 and placed 3rd (down by 2 games to the jags)
2003 you went 5-11 and placed 4th (tied with the Jags)
2002 you went 4-12 and placed 4th
During this time the colts won the division every year but 1 (2008, 12-4, 1 game behind tennesse). Ya we sucked this year. I expected it since the colts were playing without manning. I knew what our defense was and how it was designed (to be in the lead and utilize the pass rush) without us ever really being in the lead we couldnt do anything. So i wasnt upset with last year. But the texans fans, you guys act like you have been dominating the division for years. Take a quick reality check and be a little humble til you guys prove some consistency. I respect the Texans greatly and see them as our Main rivals in the division. But its not a hated rivalry like i think of the Jags.

There would be no reason to 'gang up' if you hadn't come in here flaming away on the the posts of a team that isnt yours? Im just trying to keep you grounded from being disappointed again man. Expect the worst, so the best is that much more enjoyable. Thats kinda how i think things. like this year.

Did you see the beasts that the Steelers picked up in the draft? They are plenty strong. The ravens are more than just Suggs. And who is to say that Flacco wont perform, like you said, to the potential that he can. The only reason the Broncos made the playoffs was because of the Defense that they had, with an actual QB, they can go far. They definitely will be their division winners and most likely will get the 1st round bye. I see them going 12-4
-
Qwizboy you are high as a kite if you think the texans are the favotires to go to the SB. That would be the Patriots, Ravens, Steelers, Broncos, and then you guys. You'll go 11-5
-
Not a chance with our schedule. 4-12, 6-10 at a stretchy best.
-
Did anyone see the amount of people we picked up on defense from the undrafted free agents. I think we did a heck of a job. But as far as our schedule goes and how well we are going to do, im under the impression that we will be a 4-12 team this year, at best 6-10 unless Andrew Luck DOES turn out to be a Peyton Manning player (Not the Peyton of his rookie year).
-
9-7 at best, most likely 7-9 regardless of who starts.
Will you be taking any of Manning's new toys?

i disagree with the thought that they would be low risk. If your taking them early on they are definitely going to be a high risk for you rather than grabbing some staple receivers that constantly produce. I would get them as my #3 or 4 receivers, maybe even 5.
