  1. your idea of a good fg kicker is one that makes every meaningless fg, but misses ones in the clutch????

that will win you a lot of championships. there is a reason no team wanted him.

Those meaningless field goals won the games to get to the playoffs. It's a shame he shanked on that one but everyone here, almost was screaming to drop AV. Which is ridiculous. There are tons if kickers that dropped clutch kicks, but he was the mist consistent.

  2. As was stated before on this post. Ty led the league in percentage of balls dropped. 88-91 targets, 50 rec, 60 catchable, 10 drops. And was only 2 behind seller in the most drops. Another garçon?

  3. Flash777, you don't have to have big plays to make a big impact. If he catches more balls as a slot receiver in place of collie and gets more first downs, is say he would be a huge impact over Hilton who doesn't catch as many but has the speed to be a deep man

  4. I guess I came off as insensitive. Collie was definitely a joy to watch, was great value to our team, and a great person. One if my favorite Indy receivers. My comment was directed in response to those that are freaking out that we are losing a great receiver we can't replace and or wont bd able to get someone of similar skill. That's what I meant. I hate to see him be another Anthony Gonzalez.

  5. problem with that is both Elam and Vaccaro are projected top 20 picks, atleast in the couple of mock drafts i have seen in the last month. Rambo is projected to be drafted in the second round (which we dont have a pick in that round) so chances are we wont get any of them unless the colts either trade up in the first round. i like all three and would want which ever one we got to be the starter next year, not sit on the bench. if i had to guess Elam may actually fall to us.

Rambo we can get because we DO have a 2nd round pick.  Vontae Davis did not play enough games this year to fulfill the conditional second pick obligation so we didnt lose that pick to them.

  6. While Ed Reed is still in the playoffs, this is all speculation.  Did your dog eat your homework again?

Obviously you didn't do your homework at all.  The topic, written by a sports analyst, discusses that the Ravens WILL MOST LIKELY release him after the season, meaning after the playoffs.  So now do you care to reply to this topic and add some value or continue to sound like an *.

  7. Was reading a recent article on my NFL 12' app which was saying that word is the Ravens will release him to FA. His two mist likely places to end up would be Indy and New England. Indy cause if his relationship with pagano and our cap space, NE cause of belichecks known admiration and respect for his skill. Is this something we should pursue?

  8. No it's not missing kicks from inside 40 yards is not the same as missing from beyond 40 yards.

He missed a 37 yarder in the season opener in Chicago

He missed a 36 yarder vs. the Jags.

He missed a 54 yarder vs. the Packers

He had a 37 yarder blocked at the Titans

He missed a 48 yarder vs. Miami

He had a 54 yarder blocked vs Miami

He missed a 58 yarder at New England.

He would not miss again till the Ravens game where he missed a 40 yarder.

So he really missed two kicks inside of 40 yards all year both coming with a new snapper very early in the year I would guess that had more to do with the misses than we really know.  Taking out the two blocks of his six misses four were from 40 yards or more.  Those are much easier to understand than misses inside of 40 yards.  Again you don't like when it happens but it's not like he was missing chip shots all year.

    Again, thank you.

Chicago is an open stadium is it not? Right next to a river.  It is windy there and I am  pretty sure that place has alot of misses.  Just me.

  9. irrelevant.

Distances are relevant.  Missing a 20 yarder is less expected than missing a 52 yarder.  difficulty of distance and exterior factors on the ball.  Locations are relevant because if its indoor, there are no outside factors affecting the ball.  If its in an open stadium, wind and weather conditions have factors on the ball which make it difficult to adjust and be more accurate.

    Relevant.

  10. He was really 26 of 31.  Two were blocked and unless Adam has learned how to kick the ball threw someone that's not really his fault.  He averaged out to 84% when you factor in the two blocks.  His career average is 82%.  Looks like a normal year for Adam to me.  I know this doesn't apply to you so please don't take it as directed as you but haters are going to hate when it comes to Adam.

Thank you very much for that.  People always look for a reason to blame someone or something, kickers are easy targets.

  11. There was also a report out of San Diego that they are interested in Arians.  Ironically just before that i was on the radio with moving the chains on sirius XM asking this same thing.  They said they are sure he will get offiers and his best fit would probably be in San Diego.
