Better story line? A better line than Pats v Colts and going threw the rivalry during the Manning years.. see the headline now “is the rivalry back? Will Luck finally figure out the evil mastermind Plans and win against NE?” Come on it’s the classic good guy v bad guy.. earth hoodie vs young skywalker lol
Mahomes and the Chiefs are the new "hotness" and we have seen the Luck vs Brady already several times and the outcome is always the same. Not sure if they want that again when they can have the league MVP vs the arguable GOAT, one starting his career being great and one finishing his career. Plus a Chiefs/Saints SB is the prolific marquee matchup that the NFL wants to see, tons of points in that matchup 75pt over/under.

I like how ebron has said he wants to end his career here. So after his 2 yr contract is up he shouldn't break the bank.
Where? I didn't catch that in the video.

Idk how people can think we're being disrespected and underestimated anymore. The chiefs should feel disrespected because media talking heads are picking the Colts quite a bit.

Here are a bunch of videos about our upcoming matchup with the Chiefs. I'll post more as I find them and feel free to add more. Many you have probably seen but they are good videos. Many on youtube.

Kyle Brandt has a huge man crush on the Colts. It is a very good show. Best around....
He has been behind the Colts all season, saying to watch out for them. The Colts actually sent him a 1-0 shirt that the show presented to him on air last week.

To me, it looks like he has the proper technique of grabbing the defender by the jersey under the pads and takes him out of the play. Great. He does that really well and deserves all recognition he can get.
But then, IMO, he engages too long to where the defender falls over and he ends up getting taken down with him. At least some of his pancakes seem accidental in that regard. I'd rather see him stop engaging after he successfully blocked the defender instead of carrying it to a point to where he ends up on the ground.
Not contrarian. Just seeing things without rose colored glasses.
what takes a player out longer, getting pushed out and then released, or having a 330lb person land on you over and over, crushing the wind out of you?

We will both move the ball. We will both score.
Who scores TDs not FGs when in the red zone and success on 3rd downs will shape this game. Controllong the line of scrimmage and running to control clock could also affect the outcome. Field position will also be important.
I suspect the team that plays most mistake-free, and best controls the line, should prevail.
Remember the year we played KC, and neither team punted?
i dont expect that extreme, but converting 1st downs, and success in the red zone will be more important than possibly any game this year. (Except maybe the 2nd Jax game, )
Thanks John Madden.

They're playing .500 ball the last six weeks.
The Colts are 10-1 in last eleven games.
We own the Chefs! Enough said!
I never understand why people believe we will win because we have in the past. If that is the case, then if the Patriots and us win, we might as well not play the game since the Patriots always beat us and therefore will beat us. Different team entirely this time and it can't be denied.

I have 100% confidence in the officiating crew. They will defeat the Chargers. No worries for the NFL
I don't. The NFL has argued in court that they are entertainment, not a sport. Therefore, they want the best entertainment and not the best teams. They can easily allows the refs to influence the games the way they want them to. They can ensure KC wins and have a NE vs KC or LA vs KC matchup. Both are better stories and with the bigger stadium the teams and NFL will make more money.

yea okay 156 yards passing 2 tds in the fourth he is a rookie had a bad game and will have a chance to win it
No, he is what he is. He's a running QB and they just aren't successful in the NFL. He had like 6 passing yards at the start of the 4th quarter. Unless he learns to be a real QB, he isn't going anywhere.

So much for that ravens d. Jackson is finally getting exposed, and deservedly so. He's a RB, not a QB.

That's why the Patriots will win if we do. Better story and better seating.

We did get shafted but if we win, it could benefit us playing today if we do not play until next Sunday.
So much for that, early game Saturday again. Like wth, why is a #1 seed playing on Saturday and the Patriots get Sunday.

We just flat out match up better vs the Texans. Going this route, we get a team in the Chiefs that we can score and control tempo on than if we were to go to New England who are pretty much unbeatable coming off a bye unless you are a smash mouth team that likes to punch them in the mouth like the Ravens. The Patriots tend to have more issues at the AFCCG level, after getting banged up a bit. We are not built like the Ravens, so I like this route better. After watching how the Texans' RBs and slot WRs gained YAC underneath, reminded me how James White, Edelman and Rex Burkhead could eat us alive with an accurate Brady throwing them for YAC easily.
This playoff win might have reduced the impact of that 4th down call in the first Texans game considerably given the fact that winning the division and hosting a playoff game was what was the stickling point decided by that 4th down call, IMO.
Thoughts???
Prefer to play NE over KC. The chiefs will score at will, the underneath zone vulnerability will get exposed as mahomes will have plenty of time behind his line. The combination of Hill, Hunt, and Kelce may be too much for us. We can beat NE, let the chargers out Baltimore attempt to take it the Chiefs. Either of those two teams have a better chance than we do.

2 injuries to Dallas wide receivers in the first quarter.
Allen Hurns is clearly done ..Cole Beasley may not be OK
Gonna have to feed Zeke....a lot
Clearly done? Understatement.
His foot was backwards, you saw it pop on the replay.

More towards the topic, Hilton being hurt is a big problem. He was the biggest reason we won the last game and was with them in the first one. This game won't go like the last ones and we're in trouble.

Dakich read ….. ON AIR an NFL report that the referee crew working Colts-Texans game have thrown the LEAST amount of flags than any other crew in the league this season …… Let the players play (I hope ) ! ………… GO COLTS !!!!!
Less PI calls, more TY and Ebron getting mugged.

Anyone else think the Colts got shafted with the scheduling? They flex us to Sunday night and then give us the first game on Saturday. That's only five real days of rest while all other teams get six to nearly seven.
Houston early game Sunday, early game Sat.
Dallas had the early game sunday, get late game Saturday.
Seattle mid afternoon game sunday, get late game Saturday.
Chargers/Ravens get mid afternoon game sunday, get to play on sunday
Bears/Eagles mid afternoon to late game Sunday, get late Sunday game.
Colts literally the only ones messed over. Ours and the cowboys/seattle game should be switched to be fair.
