  1. for those who don't seem to know, it's "paid" not "payed".
  2. but the Colts (the 32nd team) wouldn't/couldn't put in a waiver claim on a player they themselves waived
  3. Thank you for that. That is honestly not something I do but I know of several that do and boy would they be bent out of shape if they knew who they were. lol hmm. So here's the thing, I do actually get the point you're trying to make. Every little thing, every little bit of practice or game experience adds up and will ultimately contribute to the total player that AR will become. I'm also not going to say that AR not playing against CHI was the right or wrong thing to do. Honestly, I thought it odd at first but after reading why it made much more sense. Towards the beginning of the thread, your venting was pretty controlled, though bringing up Reich/Young and Ryans/Stroud was completely irrelevant. But each new reply got more and more ridiculous. There were people who explained why he was kept out but you kept doubling down and digging in. However as I went back and reread, the ridiculous replies you made were mostly in response to posters who were being mostly or completely dismissive of your concerns. So, the ridiculousness made a little more sense. So, I apologize as well.
  4. you have me mistaken with someone else. in fact I could probably name a couple of people who are exactly as you described but I am not one of them. the reason YOU think that is because so many of your posts age so, so poorly. we've had many back-and-forths due to your inability to control your temper. whenever the team does something you don't like, you come here and vomit some of the most absurd hyperbole the site has ever seen. I have no problem whatsoever with valid, tempered criticism of the team or anyone associated with it. I may or may not agree. I was one of the most outspoken last year regarding getting rid of Reich, so that alone disproves your theory.
  5. and this folks, is one of the biggest problems in the world today. people taking a die hard firm stance against something they don't even understand without doing ANY kind of fact checking before hand. good job
  6. I did not know that SS had named AR the starter vs. PHI. My reply was in direct response to the ridiculous over reaction of you and a couple of others and the moronic rebuttals such as "I have just as many regular season wins in the NFL as he does. ", "by not playing Richardson, Steichen must think he is ready, so we need to hold him to a high standard.", "Don’t use the excuse that Richardson is inexperienced during the regular season then" etc. For the record, I'm not going to say that AR not playing vs. CHI was "no big deal". HOWEVER, it's also NOT the big problem that a few of you have made it out to be. You didn't see this comment after you wrote it because it was only today when I read it for the first time. And as expected...
  7. what an ignorant assumption you've made.
  8. I am pretty sure you're giving PR too much credit. And even saying levis has "some mobility" is underselling him imo.
  9. Since when does Levis lack mobility?
  10. I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another that rodgers sent a huge gift basket to jack jones with a note reading, "Well that was ONE way to get the media off my back. Thanks man, next round on me!"
  11. Of course they did, that was pretty much my point that you so clearly missed. The model t provided transportation as it was designed to do. Yet engineers and manufacturers still do everything in their power to make the next line of vehicles better, safer, faster etc. They didn't get complacent with a solution that wasn't broken, but they still continually look for new advancements to make transportation better. If they had stayed with the original design, which worked as expected and accomplished its purpose as you said, we'd still be driving them. But they didn't. And now we have much better, safer vehicles that are far more reliable.
  12. Never said any of that. I clarified that my original comment and the model t example were to refute the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Had nothing to do with the Colt logo
  13. You see a lot of Model T's on the roads where you live?
  14. Your reply only makes partial sense. And to clarify, my original response to you was directed at the phrase "if it ain't broke don't fix it"...I was not referencing your opinion of the proposed logo. I hate that phrase because it's just lazy. ^this car wasn't "broken" but technology kept evolving in ways that allowed manufacturers to make newer and better vehicles. subscribing to the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' mantra is just setting yourself up to lose to someone who will do what you do, only better.
  15. Oh damn I'm sorry. No one had told me. Here I'd been thinking I was allowed to have my own opinion
  16. Just because something isn't broken doesn't mean it can't be improved upon
  17. The Wentz move had irsays finger prints all over it. The rest? Standard operating procedure by Ballard.
  18. The Manning decision was out of his hands (so was drafting Luck, BTW) and they actually did try to keep Caldwell. He fired Caldwell only after spagnuolo turned down the DC position.
