Maybe I'm old, maybe I got spoiled watching greatness. The stretch play we had under Tom Moore was so effective. Edge would get 5, get 4 , get 7. Then Peyton would hit Marvin for 45 on a play action that looked like edge was getting the ball. I know the offenses are evolving, it just seems like always being in shotgun reduces what the offense can do. If you hand it off, the rb is at a stand still when he gets the ball. Damn I miss the 2000s offense
