  1. Well, on the Bright side the Steelers and Mike Tomlin are happy with this result. They will hope the colts lose at least one more.....will Steinchen oblige them???
  2. One thing going for colts is falcon games usually go down to the last second.
  3. Colts just doing their one step forward AND two steps back dance.....again.
  4. ....and that's twice in last three. Not the way to make a strong stretch drive to make.playoffs.
  5. Yeah, looks like another egg laid (so far)by Steinchen. This his second in the last three games.
  6. Another important game for the colts. The Betting line should be concerning to colt fans. The Steelers bouncing back and the Bengals laying a egg should also be concerning. If the Steelers are to move up over the colts in the wild card standings, the Steelers will need for the colts to lose twice. Of course I'm sure there are other paths where both teams make it. Christmas gift for everyone: 3 team parlay on money line, Eagles Chiefs Packers ....will yield you nearly even odds Merry Christmas to all
  7. I said the same thing weeks ago about having a backup with similar skills. Mond is a similar style player but has already failed with couple other teams. There's probably a decent chance he never makes it but if the colts dropped out of contention I would have liked to seen him.
  8. I'm not a fan boy of Herbert.... But I do see a very talented passer. But my point is, which some don't understand is the Chargers are not a team to succeed and win big games with on a consistent basis....and its been happening for the most part for decades. As far as Dak is concerned I think he's pretty good too but since Jerry Jones stopped sharing all his revenue with other owners, he's not so popular with the league and their playoff success has been limited despite very talented teams on both sides of the ball. Romo was good too and I'm not sure he ever won a playoff game, not many if he did. Unfortunately, like I said in a above post, its more than talent, Xs & Os and I think that's so sad for sports. One great thing about Peyton, he bucked the trend of habitual losing by the colts and along with polian turned the colts into the winningest team in a Decade. A few more Super Bowls should have happened but still he did what other hot shot QBs didn't and won't.
  9. Burrow is big time and no QB in the league is going to make him look like a system QB. College champion and NFL super bowl with a organization that was pathetic for decades. He may be the best of the elite few(Maholmes, Allen, Herbert). I like Jackson but if I need a QB to pass me to victory late in the game I would take the above 4 QBs over Jackson.
  10. Your not taking account of the team/organization he plays for. The Football Gods don't like the Chargers.. Why do you think Eli didn't go there? Same reason Elway refused coming to the colts. You like Phillip Rivers?? I think you say he's a HOF'er...... How many super bowls and Championship games he won and he also had talented rosters. What about Dan Fouts?? Even with a great offensive mind coach like Coryell and the best weapons in the league how did he do come playoff time??? And they even had Drew Breese foe a while. As you perfectly know there's more to football than talent, X's & O's and when it comes down to it, the Chargers will fail. Herbert is a very good passer but he can't buck the 'trend' of 4 to 5 Decades of the Chargers chargin, as their fans sadly describe them. Don't take my word OR 50 years of history, go and listen to their podcast/fans. Or just replay the second half of the playoff game last year against the Jags and what Bosa said.
  11. I heard he spends off season in his van parked in parking lot at a Florida beach and spends his time with his dog on beach and plays pickle ball against elderly women. That's what was said during broadcast......so he won't be around to pitchfork him away. LoL Beach time sounds good to me.
  12. I don't know if Levis is or will be better than AR5. But he will be at the very least a very solid QB and has the arm talent to be very good in the near future imo. They both right now are looking up to Stroud while Bryce Young is looking up to everyone.
  13. I have been getting into watches lately and my cousin said he has a really super duper expensive one. I seen a glimpse of it and it looked Huge. My favorite players are Joe Cool..... Kittle.....and still Aaron Rogers. I like Lamar Jackson too, I've never seen a player so slippery.... Henry too.
  14. Don't see a ton of charger games but Herbert is a Top 5 QB. No QB will have much success in playoffs with the Chargers.....there are reasons Eli refused to go there. There are numerous over rated players but Kelce, to me doesn't wow me on the eye test, and neither does his pretend girlfriend. He's a big man that can move and can catch the football like some other TEs. It doesn't take much to find a open spot in the zone or in the flats. He's good but I think there are numerous other TEs that can also put up big stats if they played with MaHolmes and Reid.
  15. Maybe a miracle will happen and he gets his job back........"Do you believe in Miracles"? Haha
  16. @NewColtsFan what confused you about my post?? Maybe I can clarify it better to you.,.....and Jarod:s post seemed clear, maybe you can also say what confused you about his post?
  17. I don't think Ballard is great in the draft like you do but whole heartedly agree that there's more to a GM's job besides drafting. And he AND irsay make it harder on him because he forces himself to address certain positions in the draft because he ignored those weaknesses in FA and trades. if he has the green light from Irsay and obtains players needed then those positions wouldn't have to be addressed by rookies making rookie money. Those picks could go more for Best players available instead of filling a position need. Example, he created a weakness at CB when traded away Gillmore for a 5th round pick to save $10 mil. So instead of having a experienced shut down corner, he drafted, I think, 3 CB's to replace Gilmore and the one suspended for gambling. In a passing league with Hot Shot QBs(AFC) and weapons for them, it was left for rookies to cover them! Forcing Gus to play softer than he usually does lol. And my personal opinion I think drafting in the NFL is probably the easiest responsibility to do of the major sports GM's.....just a internet connection and YouTube is all you need. But seriously, I do see some pretty good mocks here with members knowing their stuff. Of course its a bit more complex than that but you guys do a decent job in mock drafts. Like you and others said next year will tell us a lot about the direction of this team depending on how good or elite AR5 becomes. But even if he's as good or great as we need and want him to be, will he be surrounded with a worthy supporting cast to contend for Super Bowls? Besides the Football Gods usually against us, I hope for Colt Fans that AR5 doesn't have to do it alone. I hope his talent is not wasted like Herbert's is. But next year is a way right now and the colts have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs, even a Division title is out there..... and with Minshew!!! I wish it was with AR5 because I think he would give the colts a better chance of making big plays and the gap in talent between opposing playoff QBs and AR5 wouldn't be so much as it would be with our backup. But it is what it is and colt fans should make the best of it because nothing is guaranteed for the future so ENJOY!
  18. Sure we do. He's the Greatest!!! One day, his overall record may get to .500
  19. If your a fan of Herbert, pray instead that he forces his way out from that losing franchise and plays with a team that has a history of winning and wisely uses his talent.
  20. I predicted last summer that the colts and Texans would compete for the division with about 9 wins.
