  1. I really like Pittman and what he said about AR5.
  2. This why I wanted and didn't think AR5 would be drafted by the Colts, he's Boxoffice and marketable. But we did get him but unfortunately his season ended early but should be here a long time win or lose but lets win while were here.
  3. .....but their Philly cheese steak sandwich doesn't.
  4. A WR over a great talent QB is something foolish a dysfunctional organization like the bears could do. ....but I don't think Caleb Williams would sign with the bears if they drafted him anyway.
  5. The refs are employees of the NFL and just doing what they are told. Do they actually make errors and miss calls? Of course they do as do other officials and umpires in other sports. The NFL is satisfied mostly with the work.of refs and don't mind them getting the blame when a outcome is wanted.
  6. I think Steinchen and Minshew need to show up like they did vs the Steelers. Both were at top of their game and best game the colts played lately. Gus Bradley needs to have a good game too, especially going against a QB like Stroud who can light up opposing defenses. Bradley needs to confuse the rookie. It would be nice if the OL has a good game run blocking(like they are supposed to) AND JT runs like he did two years ago. This is a game where you need your best players to rise to the occasion and that means Pittman & JT. I am concerned that the better story and more appeal to the networks/advertisers will be Stroud and Domeco Ryan?
  7. One thing going against the jags and bills. The Steelers need a win and either of them to lose. That could help the colts win the division if the jags lose. A Home playoff game would be nice for the local fans in indy.
  8. If we WIN, we're IN. If we LOSE, we SNOOZE I know, I know, many don't think this is a worthy thread and I don't disagree. But this rhyme is not true every year. Sometimes years go by before it is truly relevant and I like saying it when it is relevant......yeah I need a life. LoL If some have other rhymes or limericks to add describing our game vs Texans feel free to do so. So I guess the mods can delete this thread or merge it with another if they feel like it. Enjoy the game.
  9. I had a strong feeling this game would be flexed to Saturday. No need to watch RedZone on Sunday. LoL Yeah
  10. I Did. On June 17, I think, I posted the Colts AND Texans contend for division with about 9 wins.
  11. If your looking for it on network tv I doubt they report that so not to paint swift in a negative/vengeful light. But it.was all over on internet and was told by it from friends and couple family members.
  12. I bet they are sorry they went on a winning streak that will hurt them from acquiring the two hot shot QBs in draft.
  13. Maybe not, but there has been plenty of video shot inside a locker room.
  14. Winning goes a long way of improving a fans happiness. You can argue it shouldn't, but in reality we all know it does for some if not many.
  15. Maybe he doesn't want to over pursue and prevent ball carrier from cutting back against the grain?
  16. I have a feeling he'll be a game influencing force in the playoffs.
  17. The reality was that AR5 was the starter in his rookie season so it's logical that AR5 will be the starter next year and his play will be a upgrade over the QB play this season. The bigger concern is staying healthy.
  18. candidate for HC of the year. I know it's common and somewhat comical that the award often goes to the coach of a team that had a bad record in the previous season. Someone like a Demeco Ryans or Steinchen. I know the Phinns have plenty of talent and SPEED but I don't think he gets enough credit with what he's done with Tua. He's made him a solid QB when he previously couldn't throw the football across a good size living room LoL....and his durability and concussions made many think he would retire soon. But his best job has been his quick innovative play book that relies on timing and accuracy and speed which they have plenty of. And they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders, not just trying to slip into the playoffs. I think he's worthy of the award and the coach for Detroit has done a fine job too considering the history of that franchise..... and without a elite or franchise QB.
  19. I agree or at least that's what the GOAL for the GM & OWNER SHOULD BE but when we look across the landscape of the NFL there are a number of Franchises that don't seem to have that goal. But back to colt fans, I think a good number of them are ok with being mediocre compared to possibly going back to winning just a couple games a season.
  20. Maybe not to the Bolded. Some of those early Indy fans remember the consistent losing and dysfunction and welcome with open arms mediocrity and contending for the 7th seat.
  21. Will replacing Bradley make much of a difference? Will his replacement be more of the same but with a different name and face? When was the last time this team had a tough aggressive, talented defense and scheme? He may be fired as a scapegoat but don't hold your breath his replacement will be much different than him or Eberfus or Dungy without a.Freeney, Mathis, Bob Sanders.
