I don't care about Hughes, good or bad. He's not a Colt, so he's no longer in my radar. I was hoping Sheppard would play better, but he may still be learning the system. At the very least, I hope he's decent depth.
I don't care about Hughes either but I really like that Grigson is really looking at the bottom half of the roster close enough to work on a trade that has potential as a possible slight upgrade or maybe not but there was very little downside to the trade (get rid of rush LB who wouldn't make the roster for an ILB that might be a passable backup). It says to me no small improvement is too small to pursue.

He sure didnt show it yesterday.
On the interception by Toler yesterday Sheppard covers the TE on that play like a blanket.

Kelvin Sheppard for Jerry Hughes is looking like a good deal for the Colts. maybe it's a case of Sheppard being a better fit for our defense but I like what I've seen so far.

minimal for injury prone, undersized, "drag down" tackler who cannot not cover in passing situations.

Special teams get crushed again

Also if you could have the Daenerys Targaryen be my server that would be a big plus.

I'll have a #5 too and supersize mine please!

He's still here because we haven't yet reached final cuts and he probably survives until then?

Pragmatists are not usually ego maniacs and as eclectic as Pep's offense sounds like it will be he seems like the ultimate pragmatist.

Pat is going to the curb.

The author is soooo confident in RG3 he uses a capital "IF" in his fifth sentence to qualify his confidence in RG3 performance. I can do that too. Andrew Luck will be the best QB in the NFL IF his o-line allows the fewest sacks this year and is in the top 10 in run blocking. See pretty easy if you use the right qualifier.

Brown when not hurt won us some games last year. My memory tells me that in the Tennessee game last year the last drive was all Brown until the very end when Ballard scored.

John Unitas didn't have exception arm strength and near the end of his career he had no arm strength at all (the whole 1970 season when the Colts won the Superbowl in Jan 1971). There is nothing to worry about with Luck's arm strength. If you find yourself worrying about Luck's arm strength just remember Jeff George had great arm strength then you'll see things more in perspective.

Personally Phillip Wilson is my favorite on writing about the Colts and other stuff for Indiana. He does a great job.
Agree he is an exception. Indy Star online is "unfriendly" to out of state readers.
