  1. I will add, Levis has a nice deep ball but isn't much of a threat to run like AR is, nor did he look accurate on the short pass game tonight.
  2. Yes they did. - this time the REFS didn't cash out (ok I am joking), I just had too.
  3. Levis stats: 22-39 56.4%, 262 Yards, 0 TD's, 1 INT, 2 Yards rushing. Titans score 16 points. Levis had ball in hand twice with a chance to win and failed twice. 2nd time in a game ending INT. I will let you guys rate his performance. I know if AR had a game like that, the naysayers toward AR would say he played average at best. Nice win by Pitt. I am 1-0 this week so far, I picked Pitt to win.
  4. That is a good joke then . I feel like it . I thought that is what you meant but I wasn't sure. No biggy.
  5. Should have been a 3rd option = Not sure. I am picking the Colts to win this, I am giving them 1 last chance and it is a team we should beat is why. The Panthers aren't any good. If we were playing someone good, I would probably take the other team.
  6. 13-10 at Half, Titans lead. So far Will is playing somewhat good, he loves that deep ball.
  7. Yeah, I was kind of shocked but not overly shocked. Steve Alford Graduated and we lost other players too from the 87 team.
  8. I don't get the joke. I think I made a pretty fair response to Jvan. Half our fanbase is real loyal and the other half is questionable. I can only go by how people post in here and on other sites, the way they talk about the team.
  9. For the most part I agree with this. It is hard to lump certain people in with others though. Although it is tough to find anything real positive about the team right now, I will always be what I call - A TrueFan. I was a fan when the Colts moved here so I know real bad from 1984-1986, 1991 too. If I had to put a % on our fanbase being spoiled or entitled it would be around 50%. 50% is still a big number because that is half our fanbase. Peyton and Luck spoiled them is why. Now when things are going bad they can't handle it or get real negative about the team. It is what it is brother. I am grateful that the Colts won a SB in my lifetime here in Indianapolis (2006). Many fanbases do not know the feeling = Titans, Texans, Jags, Chargers, Browns, Bengals, Bills, Panthers, Falcons, Lions, Vikings, and Cards. Those 12 teams have never won a SB. Even dynasty teams like the Cowboys and 49ers, haven't won a SB in nearly 30 years. Jets haven't won one since 1968 - that was before I was born.
  10. Hard telling because Pittsburgh is an up and down team.
  11. Yeah I was going to say something about his post but you just did. We would at least own the division at worse.
  12. The season is flying by. I am curious to see how Levis plays tonight.
  13. Insane. Paying 2 coaches to do nothing. I am in the wrong line of work
  14. I picked the Steelers for the same reason; they haven't lost 2 in a row. Also, they are at home and this is the type of the game they usually win after a loss.
  15. He was one of kind and arguably the biggest face ever in the state of Indiana sports wise. It would be between: Peyton Manning = because of his Colts career here. Reggie Miller = because of his NBA career with the Pacers. Larry Bird = because of his Indiana St. days, being born in Indiana, he took Indiana St. to the NCAA Finals with a 33-0 record in 1979 as being the best player in the country. Also, he coached the Pacers from 1998-2000, taking Jordan 7 games in the ECFinals in 98, and he coached them to the Finals in 2000. Then you have Bobby! IU Basketball was the biggest thing around here from 1976-around 1994 until the Pacers got really good in 1994. I vaguely remember the 1976 team. I was only 4 years old going on 5 at the time. I remember bits and parts of it because my dad loved Bobby Knight and they were on here locally before cable was even out. I remember their 1981 team like it was yesterday. I actually met and worked out with Ray Tolbert and talked with Landon Turner at Bally's a few times back in the day. That team also had Isiah Thomas on it. The 1987 Championship team was my baby, I was in high school then and had all bragging rights during that school year. Steve Alford and Keith Smart was a great backcourt!
  16. I am happy the Rangers won. It is something different. Really going into the playoffs, I just didn't want the Brewers - I have my reasons lol, Marlins, D Backs, Dodgers, or Astros winning it all. So, it worked out.
  17. I see Ballard as being better than Grigson but not near as good as Polian was. I know Grigson had a better W/L record but he also had Andrew Luck at his very best for 3 years in a row where we piled up a 33-15 record (2012-2014). If someone put a gun to my head and ask me where I would rank Ballard = bad, below average, average, above average, good, very good, or great. My honest answer would be above average. The record doesn't say that but when Luck retired, it through his way of how he wanted to build the team out the window for at least 3 years. He has had some good draft hits in Nelson, Leonard, Smith, Mack, Taylor, Pittman, and Downs this year. I think the AR pick will pan out, but we won't know until next season. I also think he nailed the Rivers signing back in 2020. Rivers was older but we had a good roster around him at the time, so Rivers gave us a punchers chance to make a SB run. The Buckner trade was good too IMO. I like the Shane hiring as well. My above average ranking really stems from his inability to draft a great playmaking WR (as in a top 10ish WR) or a dominant Edge Rusher.
  18. Having Tom Brady has exposed pretty much the whole Coaching staff of the Pats including BB. McDaniels has had 2 head coaching chances without Tom and flopped terribly. BB's record without Tom is 27-31, no playoff wins.
  19. Leonard used to be a game changer because he could create Turnovers, but so far he hasn't been this year.
  20. We need either a huge game changing WR or a game changing Pass Rusher similar to what Freeney was. I look at our roster and we have some good players, like Pittman, Downs already, Buckner, Franklin but no huge game changers other than Taylor. Taylor is sort of a game changer because at any given time he can break a 60 yard+ run but that is about it. I would love to have a guy like Marvin for my #1, make Pitt my #2, Downs a slot, Pierce would still be in the mix as a solid 4. That would be a nice WR room.
  21. Oh, by the way, I am the reason why Levis was added to the thread title. I requested it to a MOD. I felt like it was a necessary because he did play great Sunday and he may start the rest of the season. I would start him over Tannehill but that is just me.
  22. Yeah he only had 1 INT and 1 fumble and 7 TD's overall. He had some decent moments. I thought against Houston he was rolling then he got a concussion.
  23. I think a lot of times, some don't get my sarcasm in here or they just misunderstand what I post, or maybe they liked to debate me because I have a lot of football knowledge? I really don't know. Because before the season started, I clearly said that Young and Stroud would be the best QB's coming out on numerous threads. I was just happy we chose AR over Levis which over half the forum was. Levis just gave me a bad vibe with his attitude + I watched him play last year quite a bit and he was average to me. My uncle who is a huge KY fan - basketball and football, he lives in KY told me that he thought Levis would be a bust. He watched every game Levis played. He is a Titans fan and didn't like the pick. I liked AR's ceiling more than Levis's. IMO, when AR did play, he looked better than I thought he would, good at times. Many others think so as well. Injuries are the concern. With me it is not about being wrong or right, if Levis turns out good, I will eat crow and admit he is good. So far Young has struggled, so I have been wrong about him. Having said all of that, I just think it is silly to judge any QB on a small sample size. For me to be convinced that a QB is the real deal, he needs to have back to back (2) seasons playing very good to great football. Any QB can even have 1 great season and then play terrible the next, see RG3. Another example is a QB like Purdy, yes 10 very good to great games but look at his last 3 weeks. When I say stuff like, Levis is Dan Marino, I am just basically being sarcastic to the people that are saying we should have drafted him over AR instead, based on 1 game. I hope I explained things better for you.
  24. I pretty much agree with your post. If someone said, would you take Myles Garrett or a WR like Chase, I could go either way. I might even take Garrett.
