To clarify, folks cannot use the forum to place bets. Not on the forum. Folks can talk about teams they believe will win and discuss Fantasy Football on the forum, but members cannot use the forum to place bets for money.

I did not put an end date, as the response is not affected by whatever happens in the games. I put an end times in the polls in the Colts Game Day threads because once the game starts, what happens may affect how one answered the questions. This poll just asked if folks are happy with NFL football this year.

I wonder why. You do not see the poll immediately above the opening post here??? I thought perhaps it was an issue with your settings but I looked at all possible settings but I do not see an option to disable or enable polls. It is strange that you don't see it.

That is BOLD. I hope the Swifties are prevented from entering the stadium. Folks who know nothing about football are now watching the Chiefs to see the popular singer. I wonder how long that lasts.

The Bears lost a legendary member of their organization. I hope the Bears win for Butkus.

Yep. This must have been posted in another thread but McVay praised Richardson a lot. He saw what I see in Richardson -- a guy with great poise and plays well under pressure. McVay has high praise for Richardson

JT O'Sullivan knows football. He clearly is impressed with Richardson.

He is very fun to watch. I don't know how a Colts fan could not be happy with what they have seen from him. He is poised. He looks to throw first unless the call is for a designed run. And he is so young. I am so impressed. There are some who will always complain. I usually don't take their posts seriously. No one should.

That cannot be accurate. I go to at least one game a year at Met Life to a Giants game and although I don't drink beer, I buy one or two for my friend. They do not cost $5. Lol. Or, I have not been to the $5/beer concession stand yet. That's true about Young. I think he will get better. He is a smart kid and I think his QB coach will help to make him better. (I am a huge believer in Josh McCown.) Stroud and Richardson are playing better than expected. I like Richardson a lot because he is gifted yet humble. He plays with a lot of poise. I'm looking forward to seeing how the other quarterbacks do too. O'Connell and Thompson-Robinson debuted last week. I don't think Levis and H. Hooker will be playing soon. Levis will probably play before Hooker.

Watching both of them play, Richardson is clearly playing better, regardless of the stats. Yep, I think Peyton Manning did too. He said he was hoping that his record for Interceptions by a rookie would be broken this year. I recall thinking that Richardson won't throw it enough to break the record. I think Richardson is playing well and does not look lost out there. He shows poise.

Who is the Texans OC?

Thanks for letting me know. I won't be checking it out. We don't want that here. Will Tannehill be the starter this coming week? I wonder when Levis will start. He was popular here before the draft.

I would not worry about that too much. All fans accuse other fans of cockiness. The folks here are pretty civil.

I have not followed all year. I did not like signing all those high-priced players. I like winning with youth and players we develop. Do you expect Votto back?

I did not even realize Phil Nevin was a manager. I hope to follow baseball more closely next year.
