  1. the whole "well, the team was built around peyton" is a * argument. the colts stunk because his drafting went into the tank, he had a disdain for free agencey, and hired mediocre coaches.

I hated that also. It's multiple why BP failed, but him not giving Peyton the defense he needed is MY main reason why I didn't like him.

And some draft picks boggled me also. I think we had the chance to draft Hakeem Nicks but chose someone else. Or something like that.

  2. We rushed Ijalana back (even though he "cleared" medical) and he ended up on IR with the same knee giving out. I believe anything less than 12 months following an ACL, particularly with the truly large people on offensive and defensive line, is pushing the envelope on their rehabilitation. I actually hope they IR Chapman and he has the opportunity to go through a full training camp after fully rehabbing his knee.

Well, since we really are not expected to do much this season, hopefully the med staff will be reluctant to sit these guys rather than rush them back.

  3. I gotta feeling he will be special, just needs to fully heal. He played well in college with a bum knee. Colts realize what they have and will not mess up their investment. I'm pretty sure he will be our NT of the future, one day.

  4. To be fair, Flacco actually had a good game in the AFCCG and some would say he outplayed Brady. Flacco has shown flashes, but he hasn't remained consistent. But the last time a QB said he deserved more respect and people laughed at him, he shut them all up by winning a 2nd Super Bowl

I do not count that game as a "good" game because look what he defense he played.

  5. It's coming together now. With Wayne, Hilton, Collie, and our other WR's. That will hopefully open up space all over the field. Fleener will be running deep (8+ yds) while Allen will be that target that sits under the coverage or right at the the first down line. Andrew will have targets all over the field. Once again, the staff is trying to make Andrew's transition as easy as possible.

  6. When has he bought the free agency i dont recall him signing no big time player in free agency un less you call Jason Terry years back.Cuban sticks up for his players he is a true player's owner gotta love that

"Cuban sticks up for his players he is a true player's owner gotta love that" - This is why I say if you are a Dallas fan. He is one of the most loyal owners when it comes to his team. He will do whatever he can in his power for his team to succeed. But the way that fans of other teams view him (I am speaking for what comments I have seen about him by others and my personal feelings) this loyalty leads to arrogance. For example, last year, the lowly Hornets were making a play to sign Corey Brewer and almost did it if it wasn't for Cuban. Cuban complained to Stern and Stern did not allow the signing because of some salary cap technicality. In turn, Cuban signed Brewer to the Mavs. Also, when the league-owned Hornets made a trade for Carl Landry, he was the only owner documented that had a problem with the trade. He has other arrogant moments but I used this one just because it was the only one in my head at the time.

Now for buying the FA, the year they won the championship. Even though they did not get any superstars (even though he was trying to lure D-Will, which still may happen, to Dallas and Dwight) he Caron, Vince, Tyson, and others. That year when they won the championship, they had the highest payroll in the NBA. It's not a coincidence that two teams that were in the top 5 as far as salaries were in the Finals.

Don't get me wrong, he is a good owner, but that's from inside. On the outside looking in, it's a different perspective.

  7. I'm just glad to see Chris Collinsworth is gone. No offense to the guy, but he's been in the game (saying relatively the same things) Since '09....I was ready for him to be gone.

Truth! I might actually buy this game because they are rehauling the presentation. I am BIG on realism and presentation and with the new announcers and interface, this may be a buy for me. I'm hoping they do the same to the bland franchise mode.

Madden much different from years past?

I do not understand why people continue to buy these games. It is nothing more then a $60 roster update.

EA has been lazy since they got the license and it is really sad the NFL sold it. I can only imagine what the NFL 2K13 and Madden 2013 would be like if the competition between the two games was still there. Madden 2005 and ESPN 2K5 were the best we have seen from football games and that is sad considering how old they are.

Yeah, in my opinion, NFL 2k5 > Madden 05.

But Madden needs to attack the presentation and franchise mode head-on! The franchise mode of Madden SUCKS! I do not feel like there is a league outside of me. All it feels like is me playing my game every week and that's it, nothing is living. Even though it's a basketball game, NBA 2k12's franchise mode is unbelievable. The players speak to the media, there are stories around the league, a trade wire, etc. If EA rehaul the presentation (which they have already begun) and the franchise, I may become a Madden fan again.

  8. Mark Cuban is the coolest owner in sports

If you are a Dallas fan yes, otherwise he is just loud mouth rich man who tries to buy the free agency up and cries when something doesn't go his way.

  9. This would be a good acquisition and I'm hoping our FO is looking into this. If Asante Samuel got a 5th, we definitely should go for this guy. This would definitely make a defense look better.

  10. I don't understand why so many of ya'll saying we need to draft a db. Have you looked at our roster? We have numerous one year, two year and rookies at that position. I can understand a Claiborne or someone of that caliber to be a shut down man, but other than that what is the significance of adding another rookie DB?

Right! I rather wait next year to use our top pick on a CB rather than using one of low picks this year on a CB. I like how the FO attacked the offseason, buy the defense, draft the offense. My guess next year will be buy the offense, draft the defense.

  11. I would have no problem drafting a guy who played through an entire championship season on a bum knee that can heal. I forgot which game he sat out, but it was evident he was out because the opposing rushed for like 320yds. Besides Luck, Chapman is my favorite pick, then TY Hilton.
